Number 11 was absolutely adorable with plenty of room. The living room was very comfortable and we were able to pull up Netflix with no issues which is usually a problem or not available with chain hotels. The property was very quiet even though two main roads are nearby. Everything we needed for the kitchen was available and an excellent grocery store right down the road.
Can't think of a thing! Wished we would have stayed more than one night.

Friendly and helpful staff, loved the privacy of being in your own cottage at the price point of a hotel, no loud noises from neighbors, and comfortable bed
The highway noise was a little off putting at first. However, once the tv or whit noise machine they provided was on, I could no longer hear the highway.

Rebecca was delightful and made us feel very accommodated.
Shower was extremely small and the window in the bathroom didn’t close from the inside. Maneuvering a larger vehicle up to cottage 10 was very tight.

LOVED our stay at The Pines, charming cabin surrounded by trees was clean, fully-equipped kitchen for making meals and comfortable. Loved in the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit in cabin 6! Lots of room outside for our dog to explore. Felt like home for our 3 night stay! Beautiful property. We worked remotely while there, wifi was strong enough for two of us to do daily video calls- even outside at the picnic table! Loved being surrounded by nature while having to work.
Rebecca at the front desk was exceptionally hospitable and kind, she made us feel like family and was super accomdating with our various requests.
Location is fantastic, 10 min drive to Asheville and even closer to Weaverville (which we loved)! The guest book inside the cabin had great reccomendations, highly recommend The Twisted Laurel and Blue Mountain Pizza (both dog-friendly) and the WagBar (dog park that's also a bar!) just down the road. Big grocery store and CVS just down the road too.
Wish we coulda stayed much longer! Highly recommend The Pines :)

The cottage was cozy, romantic and well stocked with cooking gear and dinnerware. The management gave me some sparkling cider for my birthday. It was very sweet. The women we spoke to made sure we had everything we needed and was very informative.
All the cottages are older buildings. It had a heater but did get a little chilly sometimes due to poor insulation. The facilities are older and some things need to be updated a little bit more.

The Pines offers sweet little cabins not far from downtown Asheville NC
Although the cabin is near the interstate you could barely hear the rush of the cars and trucks. They provide a sound machine and ear plugs for your connivence. We would have liked some walking trails and gardens on the property.

The layout of the house and amenities were wonderful. The Christmas tree and decorations were a nice extra touch. We loved have access to the gas fireplace. The bedrooms were spacious and nicely decorated.
The lock on the main door to get into the house was impossible to use. It took several minutes to lock the door the door using the key each time we wanted to leave the house. We had to call for assistance twice since we were unable to get the key to work. It definitely needs replacing.

awesome staff!!
too close to other cottages.

Private and relatively quiet. Very comfortable bed.
Heat came from a large vent in the floor which got very hot. it was turned on remotely with no warning. our car’s carrier was in the vent (which looked like a cold air vent), partially melted and filled the cabin with toxic smoke. Thankfully we returned from dinner before this became a larger disaster. cat was fine but I was not! Heat source in the floor??? In a pet friendly space? where the metal grate gets hot!!!! Hostess was very apologetic but that does not erase the fear. Dangerous!

Nice little cottages. Cozy rooms with bed, couch ( new and very comfortable ) and desk. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Good cleaning, including washing the dishes.
The whole area needs some mainanance. The owner is in process of doing so. Everything in bathroom is old, but working and so far ok, just the bathtub should be replaced. The kitchen is very smal, but for prepearing breafast big enough. The interstate behind the property is sometimes noisy.

This was a cute comfy cottage away from the hustle but close to everything. I you are looking for something other than a chain hotel, you like kind of a boho, hippe/shabby chic design you will love this little spot! We LOVED our cottage, it was so cute, the care and thought put into the renovation and decorating was evident. It was very clean, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Nice little kitchen to prep some coffee or snacks or even a meal and again everything in the kitchen was spotless! , The staff knew we were celebrating our Anniversary and even had a bottle of Biltmore wine, flowers, card, and candle waiting for us on the kitchen table! There was coffee and creamer and sweeteners provided as well. The grounds are wooded and rustic and accessorized with vintage lawn furnishings and decor. We took a walk around the grounds and checked out some of the other cabins and cottages and certainly plan to revisit and try out another of their options. While we did not have a pet to take they are pet friendly and the grounds had doggie waste bags and receptacles set up around the grounds. As an older (60ish) traveler this was a trip back to the kinds of places we visited on family vacations when I was a kid, as a lover of history I found this place to be a little gem!

I really enjoyed the quaint setting back in the woods and how close it was to so many places in the Asheville area.
Super fun to explore and come back to rest in the comfortable bed!
The bathroom could have been a little nicer (I stayed in Cabin 10🧐🙃)
