About this house rental
Mountain contemporary 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathroom townhome located in the exclusive Fitzsimmons Walk complex, offering the best in deluxe West Coast Alpine Contemporary style. Situated just north of Whistler Village, this property offers guests three and a half levels of spacious living. Leading from the double car garage with ample space for 2 vehicles is a private laundry closet and a large entrance foyer with a boot dryer and mudroom. Continue up a flight of stairs, you are welcomed onto the lower level of the townhome featuring a media room and wet bar, access to an outdoor gas fireplace sitting area, and a private hot tub. The fourth and lower level bedroom has a king bed, which can be converted into two twins upon request, and has access to an ensuite shared bathroom with a stand-up steam shower.
The main living level is a completely open concept and features a gourmet professional kitchen with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, a built-in espresso machine, and large island seating. Centered on this level is the dining table (seating for 8), overlooking a sunk-in living room with a wood-burning fireplace. Expanded outdoor living can be enjoyed year-round on the covered balcony with a built-in BBQ. A powder room sits next to the kitchen along with a spacious pantry with a wine fridge.
The top level of this home features the other three bedrooms. The master bedroom suite with a king bed, which can be converted into two twins upon request, offers a large walk-in closet, a private balcony with mountain views, and a spacious ensuite bathroom. The ensuite bathroom displays a double vanity, glass-enclosed shower, and soaker tub with a see-through gas fireplace. The second bedroom on this level has two twins, which can be converted into a king upon request and the third bedroom is set up with a queen bed. The Fitzsimmons Walk complex is located just north of the main Whistler Village, and adjacent to the complex, across Highway 99, is Nesters Market shopping center where guests can enjoy the conveniences of the full grocery store and pharmacy, a Mexican restaurant, a sushi restaurant, a liquor store, a coffee shop, and other retail outlets.
Driving: The drive into the village is less than 2 minutes.
Walking: approximately a 5-7 minute walk to the north end of the village stroll and an additional 5-7 minute walk to the base of the mountain or less than a 2-minute drive.
Public Transit: There is a public bus stop is located just a 5 minute walk away. The bus comes every 30 minutes and is a 7 minute ride to the village (approximately $2.50 per ride).
Taxi / Rideshare: Taxi service is also available throughout Whistler.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Guests must be 30 years of age and must provide a photo ID upon check-in unless prior approval has been granted. Families and children are welcome; parents and or guardians must accompany children. Whistler Ideal Accommodations retains the right to refuse access to any property if this condition has not been met, with no refund provided.

Our group of 8, including an 8 year old, a teen, a young adult, 2 adults, 3 seniors, really enjoyed this year's ski trip at Whistler. Most years we VRBO at Santa Fe but decided this year to go for the best in North America and we were not disappointed.
The location of our VRBO in Whistler was excellent. It was less than 5 minutes from the Village where we picked up our ski equipment and the gondola. It had easy access to grocery shopping and all things Whistler Village.
The VRBO home we rented was just right for our group. The 4 levels of stairs was abit daunting but doable, even for the oldsters. All things that could be provided were (we were surprised and disappointed that Canadian law does not allow the rentals to include at least basic cooking items, such as cooking oil, which we then had to purchase and toss at the end). We wished there had been an extra set of sheets on the premises when our youngster had a nosebleed in the middle of the night but we survived that too. The kitchen was lovely to cook in, the fireplaces were great. The house provided room to relax and stretch out in, the beds were comfortable, the house was very clean.

I wish there was olive oil, basic spices and Saran Wrap .
I wish there were hooks for towels in the primary bathroom.

This property is high standard.Well equipped with all you would need in a Kitchen. High end stove/oven, fridge/freezer plus 2 wine fridges.
We all had an excellent vacation.
Only comments I would make on a negative side is we found the locks did not work on some of the bathroom doors. Also there was no recycle bin/ box in the Kitchen.Otherwise 5 star property

A very comfortable home for a family vacation. The size and layout was perfect for the parents and children. A 2km return walk from the village , & nearby mountain bike trails made for a fun family get together!

Great place. Bit pricey and demanding with deposits. Suppose due to high end appliances. Etc. great place. Only criticism would be the tiny TVs in such a great place.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Whistler. Beautiful property minutes away from the ski resort. Cabin was quiet, clean, and full of amenities. Eight people (4 adults and 4 children ages 3-9) were more than comfortable. Property management company communicated great with us prior to our stay and helped us secure a pack and play. Offered many other services including reservations and shopping, to make your stay easier. My only suggestion is to provide a garage door opener to renters simply for ease of use. It was kind of a pain getting in and out of the car to open and close the door using the keypad each time. Highly recommend this property!

Perfect condo for our group. Plenty of space for everyone. The property is in great condition. It is walking distance to the village but probably not for walking in to ski. We drove in the 2 minutes and had no issues with parking.
We stay in this complex whenever this group of friends get together and we are never disappointed. The check in is easy and the management company is very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fitzsimmons walk. The townhome was well described and the pictures do a great job. The only thing to note is that the walk to the ski area was probably 22 minutes and the bus only runs every 30. We had a car and drove to park in the public lots so we didn’t have to walk in boots and skis. We would love to stay here again

We really enjoyed the place. It's location was great. We could walk a beautiful trail to town, or follow a main road to it's end (which lead to the driveway).

Could Be Better
This complex is close to the Village and is a great place to stay. We have stayed at 2 or 3 other units here and have always loved it. This unit in particular was just ok. The beds were incredible as were the showers and baths. There were also top notch appliances in the gorgeous kitchen. I acknowledge that the things I'm about to share are nitpicky, but they are based on our stay in other units like this and what we've become accustomed to for staying in units at this price range. The motor on the hot tub made a very loud noise. It was so loud, our friends heard it inside two floors up. The knives seemed cheap and they were dull. We didn't find a knife sharpener. Also in this amazing kitchen was a trash can a little larger than what you'd find in most bathrooms. The towels in the bathrooms were cheap and very thin compared to the plush towels we have had in other units in this complex. Finally, we would like to have had more seating in the living room. The unit holds 8 adults but only 5 adults could sit in the living room comfortably at one time. It would benefit from the addition of another couch.

our family of 8 had a most excellent stay. lots of room to sprawl. well equipped kitchen. the place was spic and span. great hot tub. lots of towels. fireplace in our bedroom nice touch. easy 15 min. walk to village. nesters even handier!

House was very nice and clean. Housed all 8 of us well and all had our own sleeping space. Only complaint would be house wasn't stalked with anything and the night time check in person was very rude.

Above expectations!
Our family was so surprised at the quality and cleanliness of this townhome. It was perfect amount of floor space for our family of 7 and we had a great time entertaining our friends for a few meals with the new grill and the commercial appliances! The concierge staff were super responsive when we needed the hot tub cleaned, definitely would love to rent this unit again at any time of the year.

Family Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and such a great location.
Check in and check out was super easy.
Our 5 night stay was very comfortable. We cooked full meals in the kitchen and it was stocked with everything you needed.
The different levels made alot of room for everyone to do their own thing and come together to play games and share time as a family.
The only thing I would suggest is a bigger TV in the kitchen/living room area.
Would definitely recommend and would for sure stay again.

Great stay!
I would rent this place every time coming to whistler. The rooms and space were perfect. The kitchen was awesome for lots of cooking. The only issue we had was that we asked for the twin room to be turned into a king and it was not done. No big deal, we pushed it together. I would recommend to families and friends get away! Clean, modern, beautiful and close to everything you need.

TV’s AND REMOTES
There should be at least a 60 inch HD TV in main family room kitchen area! This would put it over the top! Also all the remotes need new battery’s and clear instructions on how to use!

Very nice property
My kids and I stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the cleanliness and spaciousness of the property. Perfect for teenagers with the separate tv room downstairs. The kitchen was very large and functional. The location was quiet but not too far from the village, so easily walkable. The surrounding area was quiet at night, which was nice. Also appreciated the private parking so we could store bikes easily.

Great entertainment home
Stayed in this beautiful home with friends. We enjoyed having space and a washroom each to ourselves. Lots of space for entertaining and a Great layout . Very comfortable. There are a lot of stairs to deal with when you first arrive as this unit is on four floors. To note, third bedroom that says can be a either two twins or a King, beds are regular length so they do not make a king in length. It was a bit short for our tall companion. Highly recommend this unit.

Great place
We loved staying here, a family of 5 with three teenagers. My husband and I took the bottom floor of the house with the family room and mini bar and gave the kids the master up on the third floor. House is as depicted and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Wonderful BUT a couple things to mention
The house was great but a couple things to note. The garbage in the kitchen is tiny! Also one of the bathrooms didn’t have a garbage or hairdryer. The check in time was 4pm and they wouldn’t budge even though the house wasn’t booked the night before and the checkout time of 10am was nonnegotiable, which is hard when packing up a whole crew.
There are A LOT of stairs so be prepared. Great home overall!

A Great Winter Cabin
Our group of 8 LOVED staying at this property. The amenities are great (boot dryers, milk frothed, private hot tub!), the cabin is spacious, and the location makes traveling to and from the village incredibly easy. And, Whistler Ideal was great about promptly responding to our questions and helping us get the cabin ready for our group (including by securing a crock pot for us to use during our stay). 10/10 would recommend!

Definitely recommend
We had a wonderful time at this home. Very comfortable and the very nicely decorated interior was spotless. Everything well organised, efficient. Beds comfortable, but new pillows to replace old and much used would be better. We were a party of 6 adults and one baby. "Babyonthego" for baby needs can be recommended also - everything very clean, in great condition and good quality. Wonderful underground parking with private garage. Home is within short walking distance to Village. No street noise. Thank you to the homeowner. Thank you also to the management team.
