About this house rental
Welcome to one of the largest properties within the Northstar Resort properties. This amazing house has 7 bedrooms / 5.5 baths with room for the whole family & friends! The home is a short distance to Northstar Village with lots of shops, restaurants, lifts and activities for the whole group. You will also have access to the Northstar Recreation Center which has a lap pool, kids pool, fitness center and much more! The home has a large attached garage, perfect for winter months, a large kitchen with 2 stoves for cooking and tons of space. Wifi (1000 mbps)and smart tv's for those that wish to stay connected!

Beautifully crafted, cozy and authentic, warm interior with wood accents makes you feel right at home in Lake Tahoe. The large house offers 7 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, making it one if the largest properties in Northstar
Guest access:
Guests have access to the entire house, backyard and hot tub with a great view of the woods. Passes to the Northstar Recreation Center and pool are available with the house ($5 per guest per day). Free shuttle is available on call to take you anywhere within the Northstar resort area.

Wonderful, large, updated “lodge style” house in the Northstar Properties located on the preferred Upper Mountain, 1 mile from the Village. One of the largest houses in the Northstar area, this property is able to comfortably host groups large groups (please see the reviews!).
Gourmet kitchen with new stainless appliances throughout with all of the amenities needed to cook a feast. Fully stocked laundry room with two washers and two dryers. Four floors of living space with a 1,200 sq ft loft/game room and separate wet bar.
Amenities include WiFi and smart tv's. All bedrooms come with air conditioning (seasonal) and most with an individual gas fireplace within for independent temperature control from the central heating. Sunny backyard and forest views from the outdoor patios (full sized grill located on the front deck and a jacuzzi on the back).
Guests have access to all of the Northstar Homeowners amenities and Recreation Center which includes: 3 outdoor hot tubs, Olympic size kid’s swimming pool with new water play features, heated lap pool, tennis courts (Northstar Tennis Program rated in the top 25 resorts nationally), saunas+showers, game room with billiards/air hockey/ping pong, updated health and fitness center. Massage therapy is also available, but for a more “luxe” experience we suggest going to the Ritz Carlton just up the hill for a massage.
Northstar Resort and Village is truly a destination for all seasons, featuring downhill and cross-country skiing/snowboarding, ice/roller skating rink, equestrian center, recreation center, fitness/gym center, multiple pools and premier tennis courts, 18-hole golf course, restaurants, shopping and galleries, summer mountain bike park, 24-hour security and complimentary shuttle service for owners and guests. Our home is located in a convenient location within the Northstar Properties, near the golf course and less than a mile away from the ski slopes, Village, Ritz Carlton Highlands and (only 15 min away from Lake Tahoe itself).
Village amenities also include: children’s ski school and day care, equipment rentals, season/day lockers, overnight ski and basket check.

The home is the perfect jumping off point for checking out all of the sights and nature around Truckee! Myself and a group of a dozen or so friends have stayed here multiple times now and are never disappointed with our stay: ample bedrooms, plenty of common space for cooking, eating, and entertaining, and easy access to hikes, lakes, and other activities. Highly recommend!

Enough space for the group, we enjoyed our stay, we could have stayed longer, need a bathroom
on the 3rd floor, hard for us to get up and down the stairs.
Need some up dating in the bathroom in the basement, tiles were movable and broken, need some furniture dusting. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for accommodating us.

Fit everyone comfortably. One less bed than I thought upstairs but it worked out. Kitchen was perfect. I wish the living room had more couch space because we ended up hanging in the kitchen the entire stay, but it was more important everyone had beds. Would stay again 10/10. Thank you

We gathered as families for a reunion of old friends complete with a bunch of kiddos. The kids loved the bunk room at the top, the bunk room and living space at the bottom, and the air hockey table. Puzzles, games, and lots of space to play cards were also very popular. The space is great for a group. The owners/managers were very responsive and helpful. It was a great spot.

Great few days enjoying a fun family reunion. This property was perfect for our large group and extremely clean and comfortable. The free shuttle around Northstar was a bonus for our large family and the older teens enjoyed staying together in the big open room up top…plenty of beds. Highly recommend this house.

We’ve stayed here before and always love coming back. The house is spacious and the layout allows for different activities to be happening without overlapping noise! The host was quick to respond and the neighborhood safe. We felt comfortable letting the kids run around out back and explore the trails nearby. We particularly love building a sled run from the hot tub down the hill. The host had sleds and snowball makers so it kept the kids busy for hours! We can’t wait to come back!!

The cabin was mostly great for a large group. Lots of space, plenty of beds, a big kitchen a dining table. We were here on a work retreat though, and the internet was very slow and that was an issue for people trying to get some work done and do video calls. Hopefully that gets fixed in the future.

Large house in great location. Perfect for a multi-family getaway. The four different TV systems (Roku, FireTV, DirecTV, ONN) and slow internet made the entertainment / sports watching a little difficult, and lack of a sound system was disappointing. But overall great place for a large group.

We brought a girls soccer team (14 year olds) to have a team building weekend. It was so perfect because all the girls were able to stay in the same room. We were able to have a gingerbread house decorating contest, lots of games,and a scavenger hunt in the village. The kitchen was amazing for making all the food for a big crowd. The girls loved it and we accomplished what we came for which was to bring our girls closer. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property!

Lisa was very easy to communicate with. She responded to all of our inquiries within 12 hours, most of the time within a few minutes. Checking in process was a breeze. The area was very nice and peaceful. We walked to hiking trails and the village easily without driving.

We had a group of 5 families stay at this property and there was plenty of room for everybody. The kids absolutely loved the gigantic kids room on the top floor.
the location was perfect - a very quiet community but close (walking distance - 0.7mi) to Northstar village. The beds were super comfy and it was nice (if maybe a bit loud) to have portable A/C units in each room. The kitchen was well equipped to cook for such a large group and the Huge Dining table was big bonus. It was so wonderful to all be able to eat together!
Lisa was quick to respond to any questions we had for which I was super appreciative. One of the DirecTV receivers in the main living area was not working but she was quick to respond and spent time trying to fix it. When it didn't work she took it upon herself to order a roku and have it delivered to us. She was a very responsive host.
The only downside was that quiet hours started at 8pm which seemed a bit early especially as it was summer time and that would have been about the time we would have utilized the spa in the evenings. regardless we made the most of our family time indoors and still very much enjoyed the property.

Fantastic Tahoe House for Large Groups
The house is giant with multiple common areas for different groups to gather and do their preferred activities. It is extremely close to the village and the shuttle service was easy to utilize. The kitchen and dining areas were both large and well stocked with equipment, which made group meals a breeze. The property manager was extremely responsive to questions and requests.

Fantastic Property for multi-generational Ski Family
Great property with excellent communication and immediate responses and attention from the host. We had a delayed entry due to previous guests but host flexible on access to areas we needed such as garage and living areas while rest of house was cleaned. House is located in a great area with wonderful bus service to village and ski lifts. Perfect property for large multi generational family group. Kids loved the bunk house and “dormitory” bedroom for sleep over fun with cousins visiting from UK. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful time on this property. There was plenty of space for the group of us. Photos match reality. Overall wonderful. The home did not seem super clean, however. Some bedding had stains. The floors did not seem freshly clean. Maybe because people hadn’t rented in for some time I’m guessing. Still, I loved this home. The neighborhood, hot tub, spacious room and decor. Thank you!

Great house, great location, great communication
We had a large group with 5 families and the house fit us well. We loved the location with access to the Northstar rec center and the short drive to Lake Tahoe. The owner was very responsive when we had an issue the first night with one of the a/c units. Overall it was a great stay.

Great cabin for a large group
Our stay at the house was very nice and quiet. Large property with a big kitchen. The property was wonderful at advertising, exactly how we imagined the cabin to be. Bathrooms were nice and clean with enough towels and everything we needed. Now the Cons of the cabin.. The bedrooms were a bit small, the bedrooms upstairs were a little warm. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend for a large group.

This house was exactly as advertised. Plenty of space for a large group and enough individual beds for 12 adults on a golf trip.
Very clean house and super organized with all of the "basics" you need and everything labeled. Awesome hot tub, too!
Property owner, Lisa, is super responsive up to and through the trip. She even rallied her property manager quickly to put some in-room AC units in for us due to how hot it was outside during our stay.
One thing to be aware of is that the community has a "no noise" rule after 8 PM. It wasn't an issue for us, but don't stay in this area if you want to be loud into the evening.
I would definitely book this property again on a return trip to Truckee!

Spacious Rental
This rental was huge and accommodated our large party. There were also a lot of household items which was awesome and made cooking for everyone easy. Kids were able to just play in the snow in the backyard. Owner was very responsive and able to answer any questions I had. Rules and guidelines were posted around the house which was awesome so I didn’t have to go over with everyone in my group. Only problem was finding the dumps to throw the trash in but we eventually found it. Overall nice place for large group

We had an amazing stay here with a couple of friends. The house was very charming, large and clean. Apart from many bedrooms there are many cozy common areas. It was great.

House is located in a nice area 2 minutes from northstar property. Plenty of room for big groups. Hand sanitizer kept in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen supplies to use to cook with. Had one small issue with windows not locking but property manager responded right away to our concern.
