We had a wonderful time! The house was clean and had everything we could need. The kids loved the toys, games and bunkbeds. The location was perfect and view beautiful. Highly recommend!

My husband and I traveled to the area to visit our son and DIL who stayed with us. The home is comfortable and met our needs. Overall it presents as described. A few things we noticed that could be improved for a top notch stay: substantial cobwebs throughout the home (although all other parts of the home were clean), grill began smoking and is not useable until it gets cleaned, and there were limited knives for food prep if guests plan to cook. The positives are that it is pet friendly, there are plenty of dishes, beds are comfortable, plenty of towels, neighborhood is quiet, communication with property manager was quick and easy and the checkout process was simple and considerate as there were not unreasonable expectations for guests to clean excessively as there sometimes are in VRBO rentals. I recommend this property.

This cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood. Easy access to several towns around the lake. It has a great deck, where we spent a lot of time. To be honest, you can see the lake but there are a lot of trees so it is not a clear shot. Still very pretty and relaxing! The kitchen is appropriately stocked but we did eat out a lot while we were here. There is a great trail, I believe it's called the Fire Lookout, DO NOT MISS IT! BEAUTIFUL!

Great floor plan. Feels larger than 1300 sq feet.

Good location and nice cabin. Convenient to Mt rose ski resort(20 minutes drive) and Diamond peak (15 minutes drive). Safeway is 6 minutes drive away. Pet friendly!

Kings Beach is a charming town with some really good food and great views of Lake Tahoe. We felt like we were in a tree house nestled up on a hill with peeks of the lake through the pine trees. We would rent it again but were surprised that there was no ice machine, no AC, very old shag carpet, and the couch needs to be replaced. (Like sitting on springs) We don't want to "dis" the property too much because it was charming, in a great location, and had everything we needed. We had a much needed break and really enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The home was very comfortable and the view from the large deck was excellent. Would certainly rent this property again.

We loved the place and the neighborhood. The pictures made it look a little bigger. The deck was great, kitchen was well equipped.

Great place for our family but traffic, cars & pedestrians made it a bit challenging

We were pleased with the home amenities and especially the property manager, who was friendly enough to check in and see if we needed anything.

We enjoyed our stay here so much. Very clean and cozy, great communication, and very thoughtful amenities. Chargers at your bedside, coffee pods, clear tv directions, board games, even a pack and play/toys for young children…our children are teens, but we were so impressed by the thoughtfulness of this. The location was a wonderful one for any season. We will definitely be back to stay.

Cozy and peaceful mountain cabin perfect for a winter getaway. Well appointed and close to shops, restaurants and ski slopes.

Perfect location. Very clean. It’s got everything you need for Tahoe stay.

Enjoyed a relaxing stay in late October, after the summer crowds and before the snow. The house and interactions were great. WiFi is on the slow side, due to the access network. View of the lake and sunsets is filtered and growing over. The local Safeway had a surprisingly good produce section.
We encountered a large black bear at night on Bend Ave, perhaps 50m from the house, but we were in our car and it shambled off the road without any challenge. Neighbor reported that there were other bears in N. Tahoe towns, attracted by unsecured trash, but that he didn't recall any incidents.

This is a great property for family gatherings. We had a wonderful time with our adult son, his wife, and our 11-month old grande. Huge bonus was that everyone had their own bathroom. The deck has a great view of the lake. Super cozy, great stay!
4.8
A beautiful location, however, we experienced poor communication with hosts during our stay. We had an issue with an appliance during our stay and were never responded to at all. The bedrooms had no dressers making it very difficult to store clothing or your belongings and the closet space that was available was full of bedding. A beautiful location nearby everything and has a wonderful view and trails nearby but communication was disappointing.

Great time. Great location.

The property was very nice and great views of the lake. The deck is very inviting. The neighborhood is very congested with limited parking and a fair amount of stairs to navigate when unloading or loading your vehicle. Suggest the property manager provide more information on parking. Also, tried two different ways to contact property manger and got no response. Kings Beach is a very popular location, but the traffic is awful at all times of day or night. We would probably opt for a location farther south next time.

Two adults, 3 teens and a dog all enjoyed our stay.
Great view through the trees with beautiful sunset skies and star-gazing.

Clean and well stocked with kitchen essentials. Good location for North Lake Tahoe outdoor summer activities. Open floor plan for kitchen, dining room, lounge area.

My family had a great Memorial Day Weekend getaway at this property. We were all super impressed with how comfortable, clean and cozy the place felt the moment we opened the door. Booking and check-in very easy. Directions for the house clear and concise. We could tell we were going to love this little spot as soon as we turned up into the neighborhood perched up on the hill. It was chilly, but we still enjoyed the pretty views from the deck and all the nooks and crannies in the home. GREAT use of space and while we only had the four of us for the weekend, we could definitely imagine being there with another family. Fabulous location close to town, beaches, Northstar. Overall a fantastic rental experience. Many thanks to Johanna and Tony for answering the few questions that popped up very quickly and for being wonderful hosts. We hope to return!

What an amazing North Shore get away spot. This Tahoe Cabin is nestled on the hill with stunning sunset views through the trees. Quiet neighborhood located only minutes from quaint shops and restaurants of many kinds!! The pristine turquoise and blue waters of Lake Tahoe are only minutes away. The house is beautifully appointed with three bedrooms , a loft and 3 bathrooms. Kitchen is well stocked with all you need for cooking as well as some basic items and spices!! (A lot of rentals are bare bones!) Wonderful fireplace to add to the charm and a large dining area perfect for game night!! A great spot and hosts were very easy to work with!!! 👌 would highly recommend!!!👍👍👍🥂

We recently enjoyed a relaxing long weekend sitting on the large deck watching the sun set through the trees over Lake Tahoe. Grandma and grandpa and the kids assembled puzzles while mom and dad used a well stocked kitchen to prepare meals. Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, the beach, and even church nearby! Property is very well cared for and our daughter really enjoyed her own space in the loft over the dining room. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

The house was perfect for our family! The check in was super easy, house has complete kitchen items, very clean and very comfortable. All weekend we didn’t have to contact the owners. It was a perfect home for our family getaway weekend. Thank you!

My family of 4 had an awesome stay. Everything needed for a good time and great views of the lake through the trees. We will be back!

My family and I had a great Christmas weekend here, lots of snow so we spent a lot of time inside the house. The house was great, very cozy place to watch the snow come down. The hosts were fantastic, even helping to accommodate an extra night stay due to severe weather. Would definitely rent again.

It was really difficult for me to write this review as I was originally hoping to leave a five star review, but the disappointing conclusion of my interaction with the host left me with no other option but to leave an honest but fair review.
First, the property itself was beautiful - perfect for multiple families planning a getaway. Clean, warm (very well insulated and perfect during winter), pet friendly and spacious. Our issue was with the conditions of the driveway and stone stairways to the entrance of the house upon our arrival. We immediately noticed the driveway was very small and narrow - to make things worse, there was a lot of snow piled up in the back of the driveway which limited the space allowed to park and most part of the driveway were solid ice which made it impossible to pull in and park and very dangerous for the kids to walk up to the house. (there are several flight of stairs to take before the main entrance) We called the host and help was on the way in a timely manner, but much of the work was done together, as my friend and I was also shoveling and breaking ice for 2 hours with the property manager. In appreciation we also happily tipped him for his service. On the second night we had to shovel and break ice, once again for 2 more hours - as the first day was not enough. I felt that the time we were out there shoveling snow and breaking ice, I could have instead spent it with the family and kids. I believe this issue could have been avoided if the driveways were well maintained in advance. I would think the property manager would check and make sure conditions are reasonable enough prior to guests checking in - especially the driveway as it is exposed to the elements. When comparing to other driveways on the same street - ALL was maintained very well with no snow pile up or ice build up. I reached out to the host to see if they could provide some type of compensation in the form of a credit to make up for the time we had to spend doing the labor, since all the work we did would also benefit their subsequent guests. However we were denied our request and now just left with memories of shoveling snow and breaking ice during a hard earned family vacation. We wish the hosts could have been a little more understanding, but overall we had a good experience. I leave this review as my hope for other guests to not have to experience the same and for the host to consider a form of compensation in case the same happens.

Great location, awesome deck to have a glass of wine and read. Easy drive into town (or even walk). Very nice - hope to come back in the future

This cabin was wonderful for our family! There was a perfect amount of space for our family of 4 and more - we could have fit another family of 4 here. The view of the lake through the trees was stunning during the morning and evening especially. We stayed during the end of June during a heat wave and it got pretty warm in the cabin- just a heads up for guests who require a/c (as the owners listed- there is no a/c). We had to drive to the beach and shops of Kings Village which was less than 5 minutes away. This location was perfect for us- we travelled 30 minutes to Squaw Valley, we drove 20 min to Sand Harbor (please visit this beach when you come!!! Arrive to beach by 7 am so you can ensure your entry), and of course we hung out at Kings Beach miles away. Our kids loved the bunk beds and the extra toys in the kids’ closet. Bathrooms were beautiful and well kept. Kitchen had all the essentials pans and utensils we needed. This is a great cabin!

This house was in a great location in Kings Beach for our needs. We drove to various hiking trailheads. If you need a place where you want to be able to walk to the beach or restaurants, then this isn't the place. But they're really close for a quick drive.
Pros:
* Well-stocked kitchen (although I would recommend upgrading the skillets.). Plenty of dishes, pans, bowls, for whatever you needed and even had plastic wrap, foil, and various other needed kitchen items.
* Fabulous deck with lake view thru the trees.
* 3 bathrooms were very helpful when everyone returned from kayaking or hiking at the same time.
* Bedrooms were big enough. Beds were just average, but, hey, you can't have it all, I suppose.
* Open living area is ideal and you could enjoy the trees and lakeview from inside. Sofa is extra comfy and helped make up for the bed.
* Neighborhood:. The roads are very narrow and we regretted upgrading our rental to a full-sized SUV. But we were able to make it work since there is parking in front of and behind the house.
This was a great stay overall.

Beautiful home in the trees with view of Lake Tahoe, fabulous deck, well-appointed home, great layout for time together as well as quiet/privacy of bedroom layout. Everything was as described and exceeded our expectations. Comfortable, cozy, clean, well-furnished, and with appealing decor. Everything worked well - check-in/key, kitchen appliances, TV/streaming, heating, laundry, lighting, windows and shades. This house is well-maintained! The location - very close to town of kings beach - was very convenient for beach-walking and grocery store trips. I highly recommend this property and thank the owners for making this home available.

We LOVED this cabin... it was so cozy and cute yet everyone had their own space. Great location, house was stocked much better than other VEBO’s and Tony was very easy to communicate with. Kids wanted to stay longer and so did we!

This was a really nice cabin. Cute decorations, super comfy couch, and some views of the lake. It was centrally located to a lot of great things, as well. We also loved that it had 2 masters and 3 bathrooms total.Would definitely stay there again!

I would give 5 stars for all Except the oven did not work. I planned on baking a dessert and slow ribs. The house is very nice and the view cannot be beat. Thank you for the amazing accomodations. While the other four adults hit the slopes, my granddaughter and I stayed in your home.

We booked this home for our small family of four, to get away for a few days; a home away from home. The location was perfect! As we did not want to be surrounded by too many businesses or a busy intersection. The house is nestled on a hill, off of highway 28 in the heart of Kings Beach. Just a couple of minutes away from coffee shops, lakeside restaurants and Incline Village. The house was very cozy and welcoming. It had everything we needed for our morning coffee, and the necessary pots and pans to cook up a nice meal! Each bedroom had a set of clean towels to use upon arrival, and we noticed additional towels in one of the closets, which we did not use, but was nice to know they were there. Sean, the property manager was very quick to respond and very helpful with our questions. The house itself was absolutely beautiful! From the outside in! The deck has a view to the lake, and I love that the house is surrounded by windows, having a view to the entire neighborhood was nice, since it was snowing during our visit. Highly recommend this beautiful gem at Kings Beach.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our only recommendation would be to add more outdoor lights and provide one small thing of firewood. Overall a great property. Thank you for hosting us.
