This extremely desirable property boasts four* spacious bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and a half bath. The dining room, living room, kitchen and half bath occupy the first floor, which is the perfect space for entertaining family and friends. The living room includes a large sectional sofa, television, DVD player with a few movies and board games for an occasional rainy day. A large hall closet keeps your beach gear at the ready. The kitchen is fully loaded and includes stainless steel appliances, including dishwasher and microwave. The property is graced with hardwoods and ceramic tile throughout. The second floor contains three bedrooms, a full bath and utility closet with a stackable washer and dryer. The third floor is essentially a private suite, with a bedroom and attached full bath. All bedrooms contain queen-sized beds. Ample closets and full dressers enhance each bedroom. And there are a few desks and chairs for those that need to “stay connected.” The pièce de résistance is the “fourth floor”…one of Newport’s most spectacular roofdecks, offering amazing views of the harbor and bridge. Some of the finest sunsets are experienced here, bar none. A quaint courtyard patio with grill, just outside the back door, completes the package.
Park your car in the private driveway (additional guest passes for free parking at The Wellington Resort, a block away are also included) and forget about it, as you’re not likely to need it much, if at all here in Newport’s popular Yachting Village. Relax and enjoy a peaceful retreat, literally steps from some of the finest restaurants, nightlife and shops Newport has to offer. Beaches are a leisurely stroll or a lightening-fast car ride away. Tackle Newport’s Cliff Walk for a glimpse of some of the world’s finest and most historic mansions and pick a couple to see up close and personal. Visit the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the famous Newport Folk Festival or Newport Jazz Festival. Take a harbor cruise on the deck of an America’s Cup Yacht, hit the links JFK style or see Newport from the sky via helicopter tour. These are just a few of the amenities at your fingertips from this lovely property.

Wonderful time, great views and location..

We and our family had a wonderful stay on Goodwin Street in Newport. The location was great just off Thames Street on the somewhat quieter side. We were with 3 other adults and 2 children so the location was great, as we could walk to most dinners or venues. Getting to the beaches was very easy 10 minute drive. The house was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and modern and vertical orientation gave us some privacy on the top floor. Owner terrific to work with! Highly recommend!

Location was great. We were able to walk to most attractions. The house was very clean and had a very well stocked kitchen. We used the BBQ grill, cooked in several nights, plenty of kitchen utensils and serving/tabletop dishes. Rooftop deck had a beautiful sunset view of the bay and the bridge.

This rental was a great location in Newport. Close to several restaurants and a nice ice cream shop. The rental was very big and great for families. We had a great time for our family getaway.

This house was great and a perfect location. We were able to walk just about everywhere. The roof deck was a huge bonus. The common areas were bigger than I thought and easily accommodated all of us.

This home was spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for our family, which included 4 children 10 and under. The kitchen was well-stocked with every thing we needed for meal prep and we were able to cook out on the large gas grill on the patio. Shannon was responsive and helpful whenever we had a question or concern. Watching the 4th of July fireworks with the children from the rooftop deck will be an unforgettable memory for all of us!

Shannon’s home was immaculately clean and as described on the listing. Booked it for a gals weekend getaway from the city and loved every moment! Spacious, yet cozy, and everyone had plenty of space. Very centrally located so we walked everywhere. Shannon was easy to communicate with from booking to check out! Will definitely rent again.

Fantastic location - lots of room, tons of amenities (especially in the kitchen). Walkable to shopping and restaurants, and it included a parking pass if you felt the need to drive. The rooftop deck is spacious with a lovely view. Great communication from the host and she made sure we had a very hospitable welcome. Looking forward to staying here again!

Wonderful location-we walked to almost everything we did in Newport. Loved the openness of the first floor dining room/living room. Great for our crowd. We enjoyed many great restaurants in the area and loved touring the mansions.

Close to shops and restaurants. Happy with accommodations and ease of parking multiple cars in such a busy city. View up on roof is gorgeous. Be careful climbing the curved, metal staircase to get on rooftop - it made me nervous. Would definitely stay again!!

We had an amazing time in Newport! The house truly could not be more central and it’s very nicely laid out and kid/baby friendly. Checking in was easy and intuitive. Parking a second car was a little annoying as parking is scarce, but we were there over Labor Day so it was extra busy. Owner just upgraded to a digital lock which was nice/more convenient for our group. Beautiful views from the roof! Lastly, I really liked this, but the 3rd floor master bath is both en suite AND accessible from the hallway, so it was really easy to be 3 couples sharing 2 bathrooms. Thanks again for everything!

The house was perfect for us and our adult children. It was clean, well-appointed, and in an outstanding location. It was equipped with everything we could have wanted, including beach chairs, basic kitchen needs, paper goods and some toiletries. Shannon was very responsive to our few questions and we would definitely recommend the property to others.

We loved the house! Cleanliness was great. Thoroughly enjoyed our rooftop deck at all times of day. Definitely a crowd pleaser. Sleeps 8, not 10. Location is amazing! Short walk up the street & you’re near shops, bars, restaurants. We fell in love with Wally’s Weiners. Loved it so much we rebooked for next summer

Thanksgiving in Newport
The house is well appointed, lacks for nothing, is large enough for 7 full-grown people and companion animals. We lacked for nothing and had a great time! And it's in the center of town so the car stayed parked for 4 days!

Fantastic Location
I would highly recommend this property, it has a fantastic location right in the heart of Downtown Newport. The Townhouse was clean and larger than expected with a Fabulous Rooftop Deck. We had a Fantastic Weekend and will definitely rebook

Newport stay
Three friends and I rented this property when we were on a trip through the NE. It was generally clean and really spacious - plenty of space for all of us. The location was great - we were able to walk just about everywhere we wanted to go. It also has a dedicated parking space which is handy. Booking, checking in and out we’re all really easy.
Because I like to know details about places I’m considering renting, I would add that the place is a little bit “tired” (furniture and bedding), and it is a little loud between the two rental units, especially sounds of walking. That being said, I still recommend renting the property and wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again myself.
Thanks for helping make our trip memorable!

Best family reunion
This property was perfect for our family. We stayed with our three adult children and their spouses. There was plenty of room for everyone and no one had to sleep in a bunk bed. The kitchen was well stocked for our dinners in and the table was large enough to fit all of us. The location was great for walking to restaurants, shops and the wharf for our mimosa sail. The roof top deck was a great place to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset over the harbor. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
