We stayed with the in-laws (who live out by Visalia) for dad’s 80th Birthday. The house was absolutely lovely! Plenty of room, comfy beds, great amenities for humans and dogs (doggy door!!!) and even a welcoming bottle of wine (not for dogs 😁). The owners provided very good communication and there were no surprises. There is also an occupied artist studio on the property but they kept to themselves and were very quiet. The dogs loved running in the hilly yard. We are talking about coming back next year!

This was the perfect setting for our girls birthday weekend. Great location, gorgeous home and garden, beautifully decorated with original art by the owner! Nice to have condiments (including coffee!) and toiletries for our use, wished it was warmer so we could have used the stunning garden with view… next time fo sho!

A bit old fashioned but a nice house in a pretty neighborhood. Beautiful yard, close to everything. Could use some updating and organizing but we enjoyed our stay

This house was perfect for us. We came to Paso Robles for some wine testing, and we wanted a place where we could relax, do some cooking, play with our dog and enjoy some time among friends.
This property covered all our needs, it was clean, convenient and really spacious. Our dog was super happy, roaming around the large backyard.
Paul & Francie, thanks so much sharing your property with us.

House was great and as described. Cleaning crew could do a little better job dusting, clearing spider webs, and cleaning kitchen drawers and cabinets. Our family loved the art on display, the master bedroom on the other side of the house from the other rooms. Nice neighborhood, central to all the wineries in Paso, just a few minutes from downtown, and a great neighborhood to take walks in. Would recommend to others and come back.

This property was great for us! Great location, and had all the amenities you would need. The property has a great view from the backyard, and very relaxing. It's also very nice to wake up and open the blinds to the bedrooms located on the backside of the property. Everything worked, and we had zero issues. Thank you so much, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

If I could give more than 5 Stars, I would. This is my second time staying at this property. The house is the perfect size, big enough to host a group and yet cozy enough for everyone to spend time close together.
The beautiful landscaping of the backyard is perfect for friends and family to spend quality time together enjoying the scenery. A picnic table, BBQ, Gazebo and Cornhole. Then the back yard drops down to another level of a firepit large enough for the whole family to sit around. And then drops off to another level of a beautiful garden and a hammock. I love the location of the house, it's on a quiet and private street and yet only a 4 minute drive to all the best restaurants in Downtown Paso.
The best part about this property are the hosts, which are more than accommodating, helpful and generous. They live in the backhouse and totally give you your privacy but if you get a chance to hangout with them, I recommend it as they are very fun to talk and hang out with and very kind people. This being my second time staying on the property, it feels like we are going to visit long time friends of ours, rather than just another host. I can't wait to stay there again.

The house was very comfortable for the 6 of us. We really enjoyed the fire pit outside and enjoyed the bottle of wine left for us. The beds and living room area were comfortable. The only odd thing was that the owners were on site in a small studio just feet away from the house. We didn’t feel spied on but it was a little awkward. I would stay there again I just wish I knew that ahead of time.

We had a great time in Paso and our VRNBO accommodations were perfect for our group! Francie and Paul were very gracious hosts! Francie and Paul were great hosts and they even baked fresh bread and had fresh preservatives for our arrival!
Looking forward to our next trip to Paso and will definitely stay there again!

There were 5 adults and 2 young children in our group. We had a relaxing visit together and enjoyed Paso Robles.
We ate in many meals and the kitchen is well stocked with spices and utensils. The beds were comfortable and all the appliances worked well. The weather prevented us from using the backyard but I can imagine that the outside would only add to the comfort of the visit.

Perfect location for multigenerational stay
Our family (my parents, brother, husband, 6 year old, 1.5 year old and myself+our labradoodle) stayed here for a long weekend. We were in town for a family wedding. The location was perfect. 20 minutes from the wedding venue, 10 minutes to 805 taproom, 5 minutes to shops, downtown and children’s museum. The layout of the home was perfect for our group. We had my parents take the master, while my husband, kids, and I stayed in the room with the queen +daybed+trundle. This room was perfect for our little family of 4. We had plenty of room to set up a pack n play and our 6 year old insisted on sleeping on the “under bed” lol. We also had our large dog bed, our suitcases and a play corner for our sons toys and still plenty of space to walk around without feeling cramped. The 3rd bedroom is lovely and my brother said he slept well in the bed. The bathroom between the two guest bedrooms is well set up with the shower and toilet behind a second door, allowing for others to use the sink for getting ready while the shower is in use. The master bedroom is very large and is the master bathroom. The living, dinning and kitchen are nicely laid out, set up and well stocked. Tv in the living room has an Amazon fire stick with Netflix and paramount+ (probably more we just didn’t spend a lot of time using it to explore other streaming services). The back yard is beautiful. We didn’t have a chance to use the fire pit but the grass area was perfect for a family water balloon fight. And the view was lovely. It was super hot during the day but the evenings cooled down considerably and allowed us to enjoy a glass of wine and deer watching each evening. If our adventures ever bring us back to Paso Robles, we will definitely be staying again! Thank you for the perfect landing spot for our little getaway!

Paso Weekend Wine Tasting
Our family enjoyed a wonderful 3-day weekend at this property which was perfect for the four of us and our puppy. This home was very comfortable, had all the necessary amenities, and the location was only a short distance from our favorite downtown restaurants and preferred Paso area wine tasting experiences. We look forward to future stays at this special property.

Best Mattress Ever
Was doing some work in town and decided to bring my wife, my sister and brother in law and some friends for the weekend so we could all spend some time together enjoying the wine tastings. We’ve been to Paso many times and have our favorites places to eat and drink and I love how lose this house was to everything and yet hidden away from the busy streets and with beautiful views.
Definitely spacious for our group everyone has their own bed. Iv stayed in many rental homes and this is by far the best mattresses I have experienced. Slept great. Very relaxing and peaceful with a nice sunken in living room for the family to hang out. We also made use of the beautiful yard, having coffee at the outside table, playing corn hole and having a nice chat with the couple that lives in the back house. I would def stay here again

Perfect Everything!
What a perfect spot to enjoy all the beauty Paso Robles has to offer! This home is located a few minute drive from town but still on a hill for a beautiful private view in the back yard. We thoroughly enjoyed the new firepit and sitting on the hillside sipping wine and taking photos.
The house itself was perfect for 6 of us, 3 moms and 3 daughters. Everyone raved about how comfortable the beds were! And the fireplace added a wonderful ambiance. We would absolutely stay again!

A visit to Paso for a baby shower
I stayed with my 3 girls to go to another’s baby shower at a nearby winery. The house is beautiful and has everything we might’ve needed. Located close to the grocery store and downtown Paso. Very quiet neighborhood.

Peaceful retreat
We had a wonderful time at this Paso Robles home. We have stayed here before, and found it to be just as perfect for us as it was the last time. The home has a comfortable family room that all of us were able to hang out in and relax. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you will ever need, and we cooked breakfast there every morning. Our days were spent at the Paso wineries, and nights at downtown Paso for some amazing food. The location of the house was close enough to town, which allowed for a quick and inexpensive Uber ride. The neighborhood was peaceful and atop the hill for a nice walk with views. We would have like to have used more of the outdoor space/back yard, as the view from the back yard is beautiful too, yet the weather was just a little chilly. Overall, this is a good value for the location, it is clean, and feels like home. We look forward to staying here again soon!

Happy Holidays
This house was the perfect location and super confortable for our family! The host was very communicative throughout the process and was honest and open about the property before we committed to the rental. We rented the house so that our adult children could join us qith their babies to being an early Christmas to friends battling the challenges of a long term illness. We had a GREAT time and the host added a few surprises: 1. A beautiful Christmas tree and 2. A surprise visit from Santa! Would not hesitate to stay again!

Great Weekend
Despite some cold weather we had a great weekend. The house was perfect size for our group and everything was lovely. Clean, we’ll stocked, had everything we needed. Do have to say that the pictures were a little misleading and we wish the backyard had grass instead of just dirt - but also understand construction was going on. It was too cold to be outdoors anyway so it didn’t matter much, but it made us keep the curtains closed.

Great location and beautiful view
This home has a gorgeous to of the hill view and a nice backyard. The location is perfect for all the wineries and town. Great neighborhood as well.
The home is a nice 3BR and 2Bth - perfect for group of 6.
The time we stay, the backyard is not fully completed yet but it doesn’t bother us.
One minor item is the bathroom exhaust fan makes a lot of noise so perhaps it is time for a replacement to a quiet one.
We would consider to come back and stay here again in the future.

Enjoyed our stay!
Our two families stayed here for a weekend while we attended our niece’s wedding. The art-filled house was lovely, the beds were comfortable, and it was well equipped. Since we were busy exploring the area prior to the wedding, the backyard renovation wasn’t an issue for us. Hope to return in the future to enjoy the results, plus the awesome gas firepit we didn’t have time to use. Thanks again!

Clean and comfy
My husband and I live near Sacramento, and his cousin and wife live in Los Angeles. Paso Robles is midway for each of us to meet after not being able to visit due to Covid. We had tickets to a concert going on at Vino Robles Amphitheatre and finding this particular house available for a long weekend was a perfect fit for us. There’s a master bedroom on one side of the house, with two more bedrooms and a bath on the other side of the house. This configuration made for privacy for both couples. A huge plus is that the beds are so comfortable and there are plenty of pillows and nice linens. The quality of the mattresses and pillows made us feel as though the owners care about the comfort of their guests. The living room had 2 comfy rocker-recliners and 2 couches, so there was plenty of seating. The eat-in kitchen was open to the living room which was a plus, and a dining room was right off the kitchen as well. Although the only meal we cooked was a light breakfast each day, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and urtensils. Plenty of cooking tools for convenience. We started each day enjoying a cup of coffee out back, enjoying the views of nature and open spaces, despite the lack of grassy areas. Although the neighbors are right next door, it doesn’t “feel” like they’re close-by because all of the lots are deep with rolling hills surrounding the area. So there’s wide open spaces. Paso Robles is a beautiful little town with lots of choices when it comes to eating out. On Sunday we made a short drive to the coast, Morro Bay, and enjoyed time at the beach, then shopping and dinner. Another beautiful little town that we’ll be visiting again when time permits.
The only reason that I gave 4 stars instead of 5 on “accuracy of listing” is that the online pictures show beautiful landscaping. The reality is that the owners have a building under construction in the back yard and the grass is dead in the front yard, non existent in the back yard. Just dirt. We were very disappointed that we weren’t advised of this when we made the reservation. We weren’t told until a day or 2 before arrival. It probably wouldn’t have stopped us from reserving this house but we did feel misled when we arrived and saw a totally different curb appeal than what we expected from the pictures. I must add that the house made up for the lack of landscaping, and there are fruit trees and growth in the backyard.

Not as described/follow-up with property owner has been horrendous
NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT STAY HERE.
I like giving people the benefit of the doubt but the state of this property was NOTHING like the photos made it appear. The host messaged me the day before we were due to check in and told us that they are “building a guest house in the backyard it was supposed to be done in May” (we booked the place in July). The owner had plenty of opportunity to update their listing and include this major detail in the description. I was very clear that we were traveling with our young children and the backyard turns out (which was the selling point for us) was a construction zone. Not only unusable, but was unsafe. There was nothing we could do, leave and check in to a hotel? That wasn’t an option and the house was functional—that’s the shame in all this, the house is fine and the view is great. But the backyard was completely under construction. All the owner needed to do was update their photos, but they didn’t because they want your money. When I contacted the owner about a partial refund (since a portion of the advertised property was unusable) she turned around and falsely accused me of having additional guests (we had guests over for dinner, but not one stayed the night). The owner said she was not only not going to refund me, but was going to charge me extra for the alleged additional guests. It’s an unbelievable response. Also, it’s unreal to me that you cannot upload photos into a review on VRBO, I emailed photos to customer service, but please take my advice and stay elsewhere. Even if you’re not interested in the yard, the disrespect directed at me from the owner is evidence of her character and should you stay here and have a complaint, you have no recourse.

Owner has accused us of theft
We had a lovey visit, in spite of the owner scheduling an hour long service call on their malfunctioning kitchen range, and delivery of multiple packages to the home during our stay. They told us that another guest was arriving on the same day as our departure and asked us to be sure to leave promptly on Nov 1. I was completely surprised to receive notification 3 days AFTER our departure that we are being accused of stealing an oil painting from a room that none of us even noticed being displayed. I am disputing this claim and am extremely dissatisfied. I will be addressing this further once the fraudulent claim she filed has been addressed.

Well equipped
We were so pleased to find the kitchen and laundry room so well stocked for our use. Also, the backyard with the charming gazebo made a fun place to play for my grandson. The home was ideal for sharing with three family units. The one large living room with TV was very comfortable. The patio was ideal.
