About this house rental
Sunset Summit, a spacious Paso Robles Wine Country home. Conveniently located just minutes from nearby wineries, fine dining and local events including Downtown City park and Tin City. Whether you are looking to relax with some friends at local tasting rooms or looking for some fun live music and entertainment, this home is the perfect location. Less than 2 miles to Downtown City Park Square and easy access to wine trails in every direction from the home. We are just a short drive to the beach and hiking trails. Recently updated, this home offers modern stylish decor and comfortable furnishings throughout. Relax with a book in the reading nook on the stair landing or join your friends in the roomy kitchen/family room for gourmet cooking. (One additional guest may be accommodated with portable bedding.) City Permit #STR19-0205. ***Five Star Coffee Program- We start your stay with a supply of coffee, filters, coffee pods, cream, and sugar for our provided drip and pod-style coffee makers onsite at every home.***Dogs are only allowed with an additional $25/night per dog fee. The pet fee is not included in the 'initial quote'. Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog(s) during your stay, so we can charge accordingly.***Wi-Fi and/or power outages can occur periodically in our small town and rural settings, over which we have no control***

Clean house with everything included. Great back yard. Seven of us were well satisfied.

The managers clearly just refurbished the property as it still smelled strongly of paint when we arrived, and there were still packaging labels on the fridge and sofa. Fortunately, the paint smell dissipated after a few days. The place was very clean and comfortable with a convenient screen for check in/out and instructions. One couple complained their bed was too hard, but the rest were comfortable. We were all too hot, as we were restricted from lowering the A/C temperature - fans would be a great addition - but fortunately the outside temp cooled down at night so we were able to get some reprieve. We were very grateful to be able to bring our dogs, but we couldn't hang out outside with them very much because the neighbor's dog was always outside and barked non stop when our dogs were outside. The neighborhood was lovely to walk through, everyone was friendly and the house is close to a great running path. Overall our group of adults had a very good time.

The house was great and very comfortable. Also very well equipped and cornhole in the backyard was a NICE touch!! It did smell a little smoky when we arrived and the plastic protector was torn and still on the front of the refrigerator when we arrived, but it was new and nice.

My family was very happy with the house and all of the extras. Loved the corn hole in the backyard and coffee supplies in the kitchen. The rooms were all nicely decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed time around the large dinning room table. We would love to come again. The landscaping in the front yard is very nice too.

The front yard and backyard definitely needs some work
The neighbor to the right as you’re looking at the house runs a business out of his house. His trucks are parked everywhere. Not much street parking.
Since we were gone all day, it really did not affect us.

We were so happy with our stay and would definitely come back. Plenty of space and the beds were very comfortable. It was in a great location and loved that I could bring my pup and there was a yard for him to run around in. Our entire group was very comfortable in this home.

This rental was in the perfect spot for our family to stay while back home for our cousin's wedding. Every one had their own bathroom which is always awkward when traveling. The house was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Some updates have been done since the last time we were here, and we found the house to be clean, spacious, and we'll stocked with amenities. The management is super responsive and accommodating, and we would not hesitate to book this property again on our next trip.

Another wonderful stay at Sunset Summit for our Annual Ladies Wine Tasting Weekend! The house is well maintained, is always very clean, has the fluffiest big white bathtowels, comfortable beds, and a fully stocked kitchen. Suggestions we've made over the years have always been heard and we found the changes made the next time we stayed. The house is close to grocery shopping down the hill on Niblick Rd, it's only minutes away from wineries, and having a 2 car garage during our stay is a nice bonus.Looking forward to our stay in 2024!!And KUDOS to Paso Robles Vacation Rentals for their great service!

The rental was everything we wanted and more! It was the perfect space for our group. The house was lovely and was prepared with what we needed when we got there. It was also closely located to downtown and wineries for wine tasting. We would definitely stay here again. Additionally, the service was incredible. We initially had some questions when we arrived, and we were able to call and immediately talk to somebody who is able to walk us through our questions.

I rented this house for a girl's weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday. We couldn't have asked for a better house. It accommodated us in every way. We cooked in each night and had a wonderful time. It was close to the shopping center and downtown. It exceeded our expectations. I will definitely be renting this house again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home - definitely our best VRBO rental ever. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and easily accommodated our blended families (7 persons total). Although the kitchen has only one oven, it was otherwise unusually well-equipped, and we were able to cook a traditional Thanksgiving dinner as well as other elaborate meals. The separate living and family room areas as well as the large dining area gave us plenty of room to spread out. The Wi-Fi works well, and two bedrooms have desks that accommodated some teleworking. The neighborhood is pleasant, close to an Albertsons as well as a CVS., and a short drive to the many wineries in the area. We also enjoyed trips to San Simeon and Morro Bay, both about 40 minutes away.
We would definitely stay again!

This property is listed for 8 people, but can definitely fit more. There were 6 of us and we had an extra bedroom and plenty of living room and dinning room space. Great for big families!

Quaint neighborhood. The house is located just outside of town in a quaint neighborhood, near lots of shopping (Walmart, Albertsons, Taco Bell, gas, etc.). The home is clean and has everything you’ll need. The downstairs room has a loud humming due to the AC unit. This noise cannot be denied, if running the unit. The good news, is this area generally cools down in the evening. The upstairs room (twin + double bed) door cannot be closed because the twin bed obstructs the door closing - can be maneuvered. Our code didn’t work upon arrival, but they were very responsive. Previous reviews had the same problem.

Pleasant 3-night stay at Sunset Summit in a quiet neighborhood. We had trouble with the door code upon arrival but Management corrected it immediately with a quick phone call. There was plenty of room for 3 adults and 1 tween. We were supposed to have brought our senior dog, but she sadly passed away 2 weeks before. The house would have been great for her with the fenced in yard and carpet throughout. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots/pans and spices but we didn’t cook much except for breakfast. Rooms were decent size with a large master. The only issue we had was the master bathroom shower was so small considering the size of the bathroom. The hand-held shower head dripped constantly on our first night, so we ended up placing the hand-held shower head on the floor after each shower. Also, the first floor bedroom is noisy because the central air conditioning unit sits right outside the window. Overall a pleasant and Management was professional and helpful.

Great location in Paso Robles. Perfect house for travelling with dogs. Carpeted so older dogs don't slide around. Backyard was perfect for dogs (nothing they could get into trouble with). Property management company keeps it perfectly clean.

Our group had a wonderful stay at Sunset Summit. This was the perfect home base for our wine country tour...we enjoyed visiting Sculpterra, Chronic Cellars, Cass, and Broken Earth over two days. The house and kitchen were well-stocked for all of our needs, and there was plenty of living space for board games and relaxing. Great communication from the management team, would definitely stay again.

Nice house and fun time
This was a very nice house in Paso Robles. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need, the layout of the house was great - especially for my elderly parents who slept in the downstairs bedroom since stairs are difficult for them. There were many bedrooms which was fantastic for a large family. The only issue that we had was that the beds were very hard. Many might like a hard mattresses, but my family had difficulty sleeping which makes for some grumpiness. The touch screen for information was also a little touchy. We enjoyed the smart TV and watched a bunch of Mash episodes on Hulu. We enjoyed exploring Paso Robles and spending time with family. Thanks so much for the lovely house. Thanks!
