We liked the location, near Yachats stores and restaurants, and the views are spectacular. Close drive to many beautiful natural areas. We wished the kitchen had been bigger and better equipped. It was a tight squeeze to unload the dishwasher into cupboards that opened awkwardly. If you didn't need to use the kitchen much or had smaller group (We had 7) it would be fine. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice, but the beds were uncomfortable. Living areas worked well. We appreciated being able to bring our well behaved dogs.

We stayed there for a few days with family from both sides. Wonderful experience. Clean. Great kitchen that is fully stocked with all the equipment you need for cooking. The view is incredible and absolutely relaxing. It felt luxurious. Thank you so much!

The house was beautiful and the view was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would like to say that if you are elderly this might not be the place for you. We’re all in our mid 60’s and we did fine but there’s a lot of steps in the house. I really enjoyed the outside deck, listening to the ocean waves and the birdsong.

All in all, we all enjoyed our stay. We did feel however that somethings were very cheap and should be better quality. The dresser in the front, upstairs bedroom is one example. Not only swollen and warped, only a couple of drawers were actually usable. Knobs loose or missing. For the expense we expected a little more but still we enjoyed our time in Yachats as well as our accomodations.

First the positive things that can be said about this house. It has amazing ocean views from most rooms and particularly the outside deck. We spent most evenings having cocktails there. It has a totally enclosed yard which makes it great for letting your dog out without having to put them on a leash; and it is in a great location. It is an easy to walk to town to enjoy all the amenities there, which we did most days.
Unfortunately, there are so many negatives that we cannot recommend this house. When we first opened the door there was an overwhelming musty smell; the carpets are dirty and stained in many places — they should be replaced or at the very least steam cleaned; there were many cobwebs on the outside deck detracting from the otherwise wonderful ambiance of the deck; the bolt door lock to an outside door was broken before we got there and it took three nights and two days and five phone calls to get it fixed; some basic supplies that should be there were not (pepper, kitchen sponge, dish drying rack, no firewood for the fireplace, no ice maker in refrigerator (there were ice cube trays)); there is a hot tub (with a separate additional charge) but there are no instructions (and the labels on the controls were non existent) furthermore there is some sort of metal frame that should have been used to raise the cover but it was not hooked up and not usable to lift the very heavy cover; and lastly there is a dangerous small step on the patio when you walk outsi

We'd definitely book again - This place is perfect, enough...especially for the price. Conveniently located to everything. Wonderful west views of the ocean. Love the deck and the extra meditation room.
Our complaint - No decent size coffee cups - I'm sure the dollar store could help... Also a few new pans would be helpful. Otherwise - Very Happy with this Harmony house...We even played with a few games for our family evening entertainment - We'll probabally be back!

Yachats is quiet and private and we loved the peacefulness of the area. The home was better online than in person. If you are looking for something casual for kids and pets, this will work well. But the home needs updating and deep cleaning and better decor. The beds and bedding were not completely comfortable. The kitchen lacked Saran Wrap (we used last scrap) and baggies just to be aware.
The view from the deck was beautiful.

The property was just as described. Every night we slept by the crashing sounds of the waves. The house is nicely centrally located on the Oregon coast. We actually drove the entire coastline. You have to be able to climbstairs as there are 3 flights. The house is high on the hill allowing you to have a great view from the balconies. Only wish is a better dresser in 1 of the upstairs bedrooms and a cleaner couch. The beds were very comfortable. There was nothing we needed and the management company was very easy to work with. Looking forward to staying again.

Despite a slight hiccup with the entry keypad due to spotty connectivity, the place was beautiful, relaxing, and extremely comfortable. The host company was very responsive. We had a lovely and memorable stay at Honoka House! Totally recommend it.

We were looking for a place to restore our spirits and this was the perfect place to do that. The home was beautiful, comfortable, welcoming, and well appointed with what we needed. The location is hard to beat - in the heart of the village within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. It really is a special home and I'd highly recommend to anyone with a family to stay there.
Some of my family's favorite things about our stay at Honoka House were the breathtaking, spectacular views of the beach, listening to the ocean waves at night, watching hummingbirds right outside our window, relaxing in the hot tub as we gazed at the evening sky, picking up local treats at the Farmer's Market and C&K Market to cook up in the kitchen, and reading in the upstairs nook overlooking the ocean waves.
We were grateful for the opportunity to experience this lovely home and hope to return again soon.

The house fit our needs really well with the various areas for both relaxation and family fun. Kids loved the hot tub and game room! The online pictures were a bit deceiving about the proximity to the beach and the steep hill leading up to the house. Yachats is a family-friendly little town with awesome beach tide pools and interesting things to do.

Loved Yachats and this house was perfect for our two families. The only private room is the queen downstairs, but all the teenagers enjoyed sharing the “penthouse”. They did make sure to point out that there is no wall between them and the king room ;) We had a great 4 nights and would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful vacation spot!
This was a wonderful vacation rental for my whole family that allowed us to enjoy our vacation together all in one house. While the weather did not cooperate with us, we were so thankful to have a fantastic place to stay and congregate during the rainy weather. The property owners were very easy to work with and the whole check-in and check-out processes were easy and communicated well. Many thanks to Sweet Homes for the wonderful stay!

Loved this home. I would say it's more of a family house rental. Not so much friends. Hard with the open room area. This house has it all though. Great deck, hottub, kitchen, seating areas, and the bedrooms are cozy.

A beautiful storm
Overall it was great. Though we would’ve appreciated having bedside reading lamps for both people in bed, not just on just one side of the bed. (Btw, several friends have mentioned this all-to-common fault of vacation rentals, so I thought the owners might want to consider that improvement. It was magical watching the waves and gulls from the hot tub! The only other negative really was the online check-in. Too long—took too much time, (asking us to rate the rental before we even unpacked) and provided very little helpful information re TV, etc.

Lovely views, and a short walk into town
Lovely house 4 short but steep blocks up from 101. Beautiful sunset views. House was very clean and comfortable. We walked up and down with no problem several times a day. We were overall very pleased with the house. Soaking in the hot tub and relaxing by the fireplace doing a puzzle or 2 was great fun. We had a beautiful long weekend.
The kitchen is reasonably well equipped, but Sweethome should note that cheap worn out nonstick skillets are a health hazard to all, and please buy a working can opener for the house. Do also note, that the 4th “Bedroom” in use gives no one upstairs privacy in that room or the other 2 proper bedrooms due to an odd setup. It was no problem for us at all, but if you require more privacy, the max is 6 adults in 3 bedrooms.

Wonderful
The house is not as close to the beach as the photos make it look; can't really walk to it. The view was spectacular from both the windows and balconies. Beds and pillows were excellent. Hot tub and kitchen are perfect. Very clean, great selection of books as well as activities in the game room.

Great place for a family vacation
We really enjoyed staying in this home. There was plenty of space for the kids and adults, lovely and spacious decks with a view, a nice hot tub, and an easy, short walk to downtown Yachats and the beautiful 804 trail. We would love to visit again!

Lovely place.
Has lots of stairs, but excellent location and the views are amazing. Would absolutely want to stay here again. Was happy that this is a dog friendly place. We stayed 4 nights and wish it was longer. Value far far exceeded the price. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. The hot tub was awesome.

See whales spouting in the ocean from your private deck
We loved this place! Both upstairs bedrooms were nice enough to be masters. We did not have dogs with us but the place does allow them and it is much nicer than most places that allow dogs. Restaurants were walkable. The huge deck and hot tub were enjoyable with a great view. If I had a place on the coast, I would use Sweethome to manage it. Their check-in process was very clear, the house was clean and there were local people that you could talk with.

Great Beach House
The property was great for us. Check in via the tablet was great, and had info on the rental and area. When we called the property manager with questions they were available and helpful. There were 7 in our party, 5 adults and 2 children. We all had our own space and bathroom. We made most of our meals onsite, kitchen worked great. The view from the deck was great, we even saw some whales. We took advantage of the spa and laundry. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a fantastic experience at this property! Everything is as depicted in the description and photos, with the added bonuses of comfortable beds and bedding, a great selection of books, and cozy carpeting for bare feet. I would only offer a minor suggestion to lube the door hinges so early risers don’t awaken the others. Thanks so much for your lovely property!

Yachats Spring Break, COVID Edition
Perfect set up for our family of 5 and my mother. House was able to accommodate our dog too! Light and bright place with a great outdoor deck with some ocean view. Hot tub was clean and large. Kitchen had all we needed to cook meals in times of Covid, including a crock pot. Location just up the hill from town. I could walk to the grocery store, the ice cream shop, and several restaurants in minutes. Even walked the entire Amanda's Trail from the home to the top of Cape Perpetua. The wifi was good most of the time. The TV/DVD set up worked well. We enjoyed a movie a night. Plentiful hot water, warm heaters in every room. Our only concern was a lack of smoke detectors. We found one on the middle main level. Maybe there were more? Overall, a great place and I do recommend.

Relaxing weekend in Yachats
This place was great! Private, but close in. The fireplace was Fantastic, good TV system, hot tub was private and it had a view. We loved that this home was just a short walk to downtown, restaurants and a short walk over the bridge to the beach. Convenient and comfortable. We’ll be back, for sure!

Beautiful View
Comfortable house, good beds and well-stocked kitchen. The view from deck and windows was amazing. We enjoyed the interior fireplace and convenient location of home. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of throw rugs & floors. We also found approximately 15 carpenter ants crawling on walls of bedrooms and livingroom.
