Had a great stay. Cottage was well stocked with items needed. Great communication with owner.

We very much enjoyed staying in the cabin. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. It has two large bathrooms and a half bath in one of the Upstairs bedrooms. The master bedroom was very large and comfortable, and we slept very well in it. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. The screen porch is so much fun to sit on and listen to the water spill of the Harvard Brook The den has a nice fireplace. Which was cozy on cool mornings . Plenty of Seating options with cozy blankets to enjoy .Sitting by the fire pit listening to the Harvard Brooke roar was a real treat. Scott was very responsive to any questions I had about the area and made sure we had what we needed

It was great, beautiful view of the brook in the rear of the property! The house was nicely laid out with a very cool use of space and plenty of room for our group. Close to town and shops on a quiet dead end road was a real gem!

This was the second time staying and we enjoyed it even more the second time around. The house is great inside and out. Plenty of space for our family of 4. The property is so well maintained and the host was very responsive and helpful. We plan to come back again!

The house is very cute and in a great location, a short drive from both North Woodstock and Lincoln. And of course very close to lots and lots of outdoor activities. The house is spacious and comfortable but rather dark. The kitchen is modestly equipped. There were only 6 pieces of dishes bowls, and silverware. The outdoor area is lovely, especially the bit next to the stream. However, we frequently spotted snakes around the house which made us somewhat nervous being outside.
activities. The house itself is spacious and comfortable

We came to hike in the Franconia Notch area and the location couldn’t have been much better. Everything involving the property was great and even better than the pictures and description. We definitely plan on returning in the future!

We enjoyed our long weekend stay with our older children so much. The property was great and had everything we needed. The yard was quaint for a family fire and the water below was beautiful.

House was beautiful and very country cottage style. Bedrooms, family room with fireplace and kitchen were all perfect! Great location for all exploring northern New Hampshire.

We were very happy with the house, it was clean when we got there, it was a good location for the places we wanted to go. Thanks for letting us use your house for our family vacation. The only thing I would suggest would be blinds on the windows, other than that loved it

Neat, clean, unique cottage. Steep stairs to small upper rooms. T.V. "Dishvicult" to navigate if you are not familiar with Dish network.
Weather was hot but cottage stayed cool wirh fans. The firepit area was wonderful and had a constant breeze. The river was beautiful, and nice to listen to, but mostly difficult to get to.
Overall we had a great stay and would definitely go back.

Great communication from Scott. House was very clean and exactly as described in the listing. Great location close to everything. Spent every night in the screened in porch or at the fire pit next to the river. Such a fun little getaway. Will be back.

My husband, daughter (11), pup, and I were lucky to stay for a week in this lovely spot at the end of July. It was clean and well-appointed. My daughter loved staying in the upstairs sky-light room. Though it was warm outside, the fans and window AC kept it comfortable. The property itself is lovely and it is close to all things you might need (coffee, restaurants, recreation, maple soft serve). The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and great for walks with a pup, but note that it is not on a secluded lot in the woods. We would definitely stay again when passing through!

The property is in a great central location, yet on a quiet dead end street. Minutes to hiking trails, restaurants and other attractions. The house is beautifully renovated and fit our family’s needs wonderfully. Loved the screened in porch, sounds of the river in the backyard and convenience of the washer/dryer! Highly recommend!

We loved everything about this house! The color scheme, decor, workmanship and attention to detail, made this such a warm, comfortable home to stay in. The back screened in porch was a very nice place to sit on a rainy day and listen to not only the rain, but the rushing creek. The property itself is large and one of our favorite features was the beautiful rushing creek with fire ring and comfortable chairs. The location of the house was perfect for us. We were very centralized in all the places that we visited in each direction. We easily visited the Mt. Washington Cog Railroad in one direction along with Franconia State Park. The Flume is just minutes from the house. In the other direction is the beautiful Kancamagus Highway which takes you to the North Conway Railroad. There are many other places to visit, we didn't have time to see them all. We plan on coming back one day and renting this same house. We rent a lot of homes and this house is at the top of that list! Plus, Scott is very responsive and is easy to work with. What a talented person he is! Do not miss out on staying at this beautiful home masterpiece!

We very much liked the house. It was very clean and up to date. Well stocked with necessities and comfy. The beds were comfortable and there were fans and window AC units. The gas fireplace in the living room is nice.
The location is VERY convenient to all that Lincoln has to offer. Bars, shopping, restaurants and breweries. We found the busyness of the area to be a bit of a negative. We prefer more of a secluded location.

House was great. Warm and inviting. I could’ve spent the whole time sitting by the brook out back. Hosts were great. Will definitely look into staying again.

I was unable to stay more than one night due to rodent feces in the furniture and all over the kitchen counters. Mice were running throughout the home in front of me and I could hear them in the walls. You could see them under the radiators scaling the perimeter of the living room. Owner did not see any issue with any of this (pictures were sent to him) and fought me on the fact that there were mice in his home. "I have never seen a mouse in there" were his exact words. When I contacted the owner to let him know I would be leaving early and requested to be refunded for the nights I was no longer staying because it was not safe or sanitary for my pets and I to be living/sleeping among rodents/feces - he informed me that the rental agreement stated no refunds for mice. Why put that in your rental agreement if you have never seen a mouse before in your home? Read the fine print before booking and if you have any standards of living - I would reconsider this rental.

Very nice property.
Big plumbing problem morning after arrival . The owners immediately contacted a company who fixed the issue the same day.
A 16, 25 & 26 year old could not get the tv to work.

We absolutely loved the cabin, it was so comfortable and updated so beautifully. The screen porch was the best! It's in a wonderful location, so close to many restaurants, beaches, hiking etc. The backyard is amazing as well. We can't wait to go back one day!

Perfect House
This house is perfect for family & friends to stay! We had 4 adults and 1 child over the 4th of July weekend and we had so much fun! Best was sitting by the fire pit having s'mores! The river behind the house was perfect and the house is so close to all the attractions too!
We loved it!

Beautiful home and location
Home was impeccably clean. Beautiful craftsmanship throughout the home; industrial farmhouse done to perfection! Very comfortable accommodations for our family of 5 and dog.
We really enjoyed the fire pit and creek. The kids loved swimming in the creek, especially after a good rainstorm!
Location was close to all amenities. Highly recommended.

First time using Vrbo, went by comments and location. I slept in car first night as the smell of wet dog in downstairs bedroom was more than I could handle I ran fan on high everyday and went and bought Lysol spray and after 24 hrs it became tolerable but still smelled. Husband can’t smell so he was fine. The silverware draw was disgusting with many crumbs and I had to wash all silverware and put In homemade stoppers to keep silverware from going to back of draw . Was advertised as washer and dryer and they did worked for one load a 1 or of jeans and 2 kids shirts and blew a fuse, called owner and he said nothing he could do. Clearly written in his instructions were about the Adirondack chairs if we break we need to replace, two were broken I took pictures. We used our own chairs. Lots of broken glass around fire pit that my son in law picked up, sparklers all over the lawn and in fire pit along with lots of old burnt wet wood, lawn not mowed so we didn’t play the corn hole we brought either, brook was a disappointing drop to get to and not as picture showed. Not even sure the owner knows that the floors were disgusting as I had dropped an ice cube and wiped up with a paper towel that was black and we abided by the rules of no shoes and wore slippers that we had to purchase. The vacuum was full till the till with stuff and smelled horrible. Sofas were very uncomfortable….I am not a rich person or a princess that needs a castle, but when you pick a place from the comments and the reviews you expect it to be much better than it was. This was quite the expense for us and I just wanted to be with my family and enjoy our time. The location was absolutely perfect, the home was wonderfully decorated with owners artwork. There are no shelves in the showers so you had to either put stuff on floor or open shower door to grab your shampoo and soap. On a plus the beds were comfy.
Just being honest here and if the owner hires someone to clean maybe he should get a new company or at least. Heck in and check things out. There’s more to being clean than what you notice when walking in front door

Very relaxing!
We loved it! Definitely planning to return! The cottage is cozy and very welcoming. Our favorite was sitting outside near the fire or side porch and listening to the water. Beautiful views! The owner responded fast to any questions and was very nice to work with!

Perfect Rental
This home is in the perfect location for a peaceful adventure in the Loon Mountain/Franconia Notch/Kancamagus Highway. It is so charming and functional. Plenty of room for a group of friends/family. Very Clean and comfortable. Loved all the decor. The property is right on the river and the sound is delightful, especially at night. This is well beyond a 5 star rental, for sure. I cannot wait to return next year!

The perfect New Hampshire cottage!
I can't say enough about the lovely cottage and it's perfect location to visit all points of interest in the area. This was such a cozy place with beautiful decor and everything we could possibly need. It's newly remodeled with an intriguing history, which just adds to the charm. I highly recommend this property and hope to return and bring my family to fill up the house! The listing is totally accurate to the accommodations!

Perfect little find
I grew up spending time in Lincoln with my grandparents. We have stayed at the cozy cabins Memorial Day, the pumpkin campground on Labor Day, and we would always do all the attractions with Columbus Day being our last trip to New Hampshire each year. For me, finding this little house brought back all the best memories of my childhood. The house was perfect for all of us, even the pups. Scott was wonderful to deal with, responded quickly, was a huge help working with us for the wedding festivities, and I hope that everyone that stays here enjoys it as much as we did. My grandson called the small loft room his super spy room because it had motion sensor lights that he called scanners. The other bedroom upstairs gave my kids privacy, and the downstairs master worked perfect with my handicap needs. I can't say enough about this place except that we will definitely be back to rent it again.

Wonderful Family Vacation Stay
My family and I had an amazing time at this cottage for our 3 night stay. Was super clean, cozy, and we loved the modern amenities and details the owner took the time to put into the house and grounds. The fire pit next to the running river was an added perk at night as well. Would definitely come back and stay again!

Beautiful Retreat
Our experience at Scott's house was more than we expected. The house has so many beautiful details both inside and out. Every part of their renovation resulted in clever, useful and beautiful results. Scott's artwork is throughout the house and is exquisite. We struggled with where to sit most of the time, fire pit and listen to the beautiful stream, in the screened in porch or the cozy living room. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short by one day, but we absolutely will return!
