We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. We stayed here the night we got engaged which felt even more special. The room was so clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We had a gorgeous unexpected balcony which suited our morning coffee perfectly!
Our only gripe was that we were told at the front desk that both restaurants were open and only one of them was; however the more relaxed restaurant that we ate as was lovely and good value. We stayed here on a Thursday night and not many restaurants around the area were open on a Thursday for any fellow travellers!

We stayed in a suite with a full kitchen overlooking the slopes and it was awesome. Our only complaint is that the fireplace was not real, it was one of those with lights instead of fire but we rolled with the punches and won’t knock a star just for that although we were really looking forward to real fire (it was in the 40s when we visited in November). The hotel is in a quaint town that has restaurants and there is a grocery store right next door, which makes it very easy. There is a river behind the hotel (hence the name) and a great walkway along the river. The wine in the winery is not the best but heck, when you are on vacation any wine is good. They also serve cider (alcoholic, of course!) and that was Ok but again, it is good to have that option on property. It is a great location to drive to the Kancamagus scenic road. Do the loop and go to the Omni Washington Mt. Resort. That was a very cool stop. We did dinner there and it was very expensive ($150 for 2) but we splurged and really enjoyed the grounds. You don’t need to eat there to visit. A must hike is the Sabbaday Falls.

Stayed at Riverwalk for a weekend as we had a wedding to attend on Loon Mountain and I cannot recommend staying here enough! We had the most lovely time. There’s plenty of restaurants on site and our favorite was the winery! We did the wine tasting and went home with a new favorite wine. The pool and hot tub are wonderful! The room was immaculate and comfy, the view of the mountain was stunning! We’ll absolutely be returning.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The property and views are gorgeous. We had cooler rainy weather so the kids loved the heated pool. The Toast was a great on site breakfast option, yummy food and reasonable prices.

This is a truly great spot for a vacation year round. The resort offers lots to do within it’s grounds and is convenient to many other experiences in the surrounding communities.

Really nice stay at RW. We were able to stay in the newly completed part. The weather wasn't the best but made the best of it with the local attractions and the pool and arcade with the kids on site. Price chopper is in the same parking lot which is nice. The one area to stay away from that I am perplexed about is Veranda by Vista Pool bar. ***CAUTION***Instead of walking to the room and making a cocktail, I thought it was nice they had a bar there for guests. I ordered a margarita for my wife and an Aperol spritz for myself. The bartender was friendly as well. The bill for these two (two) drinks was $57 (gratuity of ~$7 included? I asked what the charge was for each and was told the margarita was $22, and the Spritz was $19, and then the gratuity. Dont get me wrong, I understand ease and convenience, however, that was much more than ever anticipated. It's New Hampshire, where there is a price chopper in the same parking lot. On this alone, we chose not to eat at the restaurant for dinner, but instead drove a mile down the road to some pubs and public houses.
