About this house rental
Completed in 2016, Casa Blanca is an art-filled contemporary beauty of functional simplicity and minimalist design. Two master suites, a great room/kitchen, full office with Wi-fi (new FAST Starlink internet installed 2023), laundry room (full size washer&dryer/hang space). ***Optional is our new CASITA located by the pool. A beautiful queen size bed, attached full bathroom full of natural Baja light, and a separate entrance for total privacy. Guest casita rents for an additional $125/night. (Please note, this option is for rental guests only while renting the main house; we do not rent to separate parties at the same time.)

Beautiful, modern home, great location, well-stocked kitchen.
We did lose power & water multiple times, while neighboring houses did not. Luckily the neighbor shared his hose with us.
During a windstorm, the poorly-constructed gate blew off, and also broke a paddle-board paddle. After departing, they accused us of smoking in the house, which was absurd, as no one in our party smokes at all, and there was zero smoke odor at any point during our stay.
Upon arriving home, we agreed to pay $90 for the paddle, even though we felt like you should be able to reasonably count on a gate not falling and/or breaking things. Once the charge went through (a month after our stay), it was for $234. This was a complete surprise, but they claimed it was for excess electrical use. I'm aware that this possibility was in the contract, but the specifics were never communicated in the month between our stay and the CC charge, nor was there transparency regarding the meter readings and/or amount being charged per kWh prior to the charge.
We've stayed in LB many times, and ultimately it comes down to: beautiful house, difficult owners/management.

The property itself was amazing. The house is updated and has everything you need for even a longer stay—including whole house UV water filtration so you can drink the water!
Communication prior to arrival with the property manager was slow (did not even confirm address until the day of check in—and the address in Vrbo was slightly wrong; and no info was sent about check in process until we were driving to the unit) and it would have been helpful to have been sent the house book (full of recs and info like the water filtration) before arrival. Communication was much better once we had checked in, especially regarding our additional casita rental cleaning which there had been a small miscommunication about.
The location on the beach was absolutely fantastic and the pool was great for windier days. Kitchen was very well stocked (coffee pot, blender, tons of baking supplies, plenty of pots/pans/bowls/plates). Beach chairs were a very nice thing to have but no other “toys;” however there are many rental places in town.

We have been coming to Los Barilles for a number of years and this property was the nicest we have stayed in! The views are amazing and the house has everything you need. We created some amazing family memories and will definitely look at staying here again on our next visit!

The house is absolutely gorgeous. Clean and spacious and has everything you need. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on the spacious deck. We have stayed in Los Barriles about 8 times in the last 2 years. This is the nicest rental and hands down and the best property manager. Julie was absolutely wonderful! We extended our stay this time and hated to leave. Location was so easy to walk to the coffee shop, restaurants and shops. Steps from the beautiful beach. We highly recommend this property!! I have been travelling to Los Barrilles for over 20 years. This home is exceptional with an unparalleled place to sit and stare at the big beautiful ocean and beach under a shaded breezy porch. The beds are so comfy and the layout of the house is fabulous for four adults and pups. Can't say enough positive about the place, the property managers and the owners.

Property is just as described and shown in pictures if not better. The pool was a fabulous add and perfect to cool off and hang out in. The sliding doors really bring the outside in with fabulous views. Beds were extremely comfortable. Washer and dryer really helped out during our stay as well. We loved everything about our stay and felt like it was our home away from home. We felt perfectly safe and property manager was easy to communicate with WhatsApp. Highly recommend this casa and would rent again!

The view from the house was picture perfect. With easy back gate access to the beach just a short walk to the water, plus nearby restaurants & beach bars, we could not have been in a better spot. Casa Blanca has a beautiful contemporary design and is fully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would recommend this vacation home and hope to be back again.

We celebrated a family reunion with our adult children and this place was wonderful. It’s on the best beach in Los Barilles and close to everything such as dining and activities (specially Sportfishing). You will be blessed with magnificent sunrises each day while having your first cup of coffee or tea. Will definitely return and stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay in Los Barriles tremendously. Loved the house and location. It was very hot, so we did spend a lot of time indoors which was enjoyable with the awesome views the house affords. We did rent the casita but ended up not using it. It was meant as an office for my husband but there is no internet available, something we wish we would have been told prior to spending the extra money.

At Casa Blanca, you wake up to the astonishing view of the Sea of Cortez from the expanse of patio windows facing the beach where kite borders sail across the waves. The house is spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully designed and is the most well equipped of any property we’ve experienced. Both the owner and property manager were responsive to questions. The house is centrally located a block from the Main Street where many restaurants and cafes can be found and sea and land adventures can be arranged. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return.

We stayed here for 8 days/7 nights. The house is even more gorgeous in person and the beach views are breathtaking! The town itself feels incredibly safe but the extra level of security with the gate, outside locking door and locking door to the house is an added benefit. We have been to multiple areas of Mexico and this was our favorite by far! A few recommendations would be Maxico for breakfast (we went every single morning except Tues because they were closed), they have the best breakfast and freshest smoothies around. Smokey’s is a great place for food, drinks, and all around good vibes. Triny’s Cantina is absolutely adorable and has the best margaritas in town. If you want the best massage go to Spa Vida, it was wonderful and relaxing beyond words. Back to the house: it truly is stocked like someone lives there full time. We had Norma come cook one day and it was worth every penny, her food is so authentic. We love this place and can’t wait to come back!!

We wanted for nothing while there. Plenty of kitchen utensils, dishware, silver, glassware, etc. Beach chairs, an umbrella and plenty of towels.
We walked to dinner several times, as it was very convenient.

Casa Blanca is perfectly located within Los Barilles. We’ve vacationed in the area many times and this is the first we’ve rented a home. We cannot imagine a better property! Clean, cool, beautiful views, walking distance to everything you need! Highly recommend!

We travel the globe although we frequent Baja for many reasons. Considering that we checked in a day late because of hurricane Olaf, the home was well appointed, the staff and owners were extremely accommodating with the situation at hand. We WILL be staying here again.

Los Barriles tranquility
The check in process was quite easy. The stay was wonderful! The house was very clean and quite comfortable. Everything you could imagine you'd want or need for your stay was provided! The plunge pool was coolest in the morning and the Sea of Cortez was an easy 200' walk, if you wanted to swim in the cool waters later in the day.
The town had quite a comprehensive little market that had everything we needed. There are many restaurants, well within walking distance from the house, in Los Barriles that are wonderful. El Gecko beach club/bar/restaurant has been one of our favorites, along with La Casita.
One of our best vacation experiences ever. You can't go wrong with Casa Blanca!

Best place to stay in all of LB
This house. I almost don’t have words for how perfect it is. Such gorgeous clean lines, amazing chefs kitchen, 1 second access to the PERFECT beach, perfect dipping pool, ideal cow watching, warm outdoor shower, very dog friendly, and most important - not a ton of homeowner clutter - it’s more like perfect luxe hotel with every little need thought of. We stayed almost 6 weeks in the hottest of hot seasons and I now want to make it an annual excursion for me and my gang. It’s really luxurious to chillax in LB during the off season (especially when you have a quad the whole time from Quadman Baja) - you really become a local and witness the waves and patterns of village life unfold. Our days were pool, beach walks, fresh fish, and I kid you not, I was in the ocean 5x a day. I never do that! But this house made it so easy. My fave stay in 20 years of coming to Baja!! Lynn is a gem as well:)

Just spent eight magical days at this property. It was perfect! The house and property are located right on the beach and we enjoyed every minute of it. The house is modern, clean and fresh. The design is truly amazing and everything is thought out to take advantage of cross ventilation, sea views and privacy. It was so refreshing to rent a home that is so clean and contemporary. Rentals are usually filled to the brim with personal junk and every space filled with non essential items. This house has everything you need and tastefully decorated with beautiful art and really just so bright and lovely. Spend time on the beach with an umbrella and beach chairs or on the comfy couches on the porches. All cooking implements are provided and there is tons of outdoor spaces to enjoy different aspects of sun and shade. This house is wonderful and is a treat to enjoy and unwind. Can't beat the location in town and on the beach!

Beautiful House in a Wonderful Location
We had never been to Los Barriles before but we are converts now. We have been staying in Cabo for the last forty years but never ventured to the East Cape. Los Barriles reminded us of Cabo in the old days - quiet, peaceful without the maddening crowds. Casa Blanca was a fantastic place to stay. The management group was very helpful. The beachfront location was fantastic. The pool in the back was a great way to cool off and relax. We will be back. The only minor complaint would be that there was no microwave for re-heating leftovers from the many great casual restaurants in town.

All around wonderful
We had a wonderful week in this beautiful home! It was our first time to the Los Barriles area. This home is fully stocked with an awesome contemporary vibe that we just loved. The home is new so the water is treated and can be used right out of the tap which was a welcome surprise. Great layout for two couples, local artwork, comfortable varied outdoor spaces for sunshine or shade to meet your mood; we were outside nearly all the time we weren't sleeping. Sunrises out the front over the Sea, sunsets out the back over the pool looking at the mountains. The home is located on the widest part of the sandy beach; gorgeous water, easy swimming (although it gets deep very quickly); hardly anyone else around; a short, easy walk to the main street of this small, quaint, "real feeling" town. No sense of tourists or "spring break" anywhere at this end of the beach. We loved the food in town, whether it was an open-air dirt floor taco stop or The Casita, (where reservations are often needed) serving incredibly fresh seafood, we found it all delicious! We did not rent a car; we had the management company arrange transportation to and from the airport which worked out great. We did rent ATVs in town two separate days in order to drive up or down the beach exploring the area a bit. We especially loved the ride North up to the point near Punta Pescadero. Desert and Sea with mountains thrown in...amazing. Bring plenty of cash (dollars are OK) as none of the merchants take credit cards and the ATM in town can be unreliable. Two of our days were very windy which brought out the kite boarders, but made it harder to enjoy relaxing on the beach...which just meant we relaxed on the beautiful patio of the home. The rest of our days (mid-March) were fabulous sunshine and calm air. Working with the owner and the management team was a breeze. Los Barriles, we will meet again!

Beautiful home with outstanding location
We spent 2 weeks in this beautifully appointed home. The home was very modern and clean with all the amenities one could ask for. The views from the main living area and kitchen are breathtaking as you look directly out onto the water.
The clean and uncrowded beach was steps from the home. We enjoyed watching the kite boarders as we sat on the patio with a cold drink.
Both the owner and property manager Julie were excellent to work with. I can't recommend this home enough. We are already thinking about our next trip!

Concrete Contractors Dream Home
WOW, WOW, WOW!!! From the moment you walk through the front gates, you are in luxury. No money was spared in design and furnishings. Private cooling pool area was perfect for sunning and cooling. Enjoyed the beach patio especially at night with the cool breeze and gorgeous full moon, and to watch the fishing boats come in. My husband is a concrete contractor and we fell in love with the floors, built-in concrete furniture on both patios, concrete bed platforms, etc...Every detail was perfect! It was just the two of us, however this beautiful home is perfect for two couples. Renting a quad to get around is the best, just a short ride down the beach to El Gecko which is a new restaurant and amazing food. Marias café up the hill in town is a good traditional Mexican restaurant and along the main road in are several dirt floor local places that have excellent food. If you dare to venture up toward Buena Vista, Hotel Califica across the highway has the best tortilla soup around. We will definitely return as this is by far the best home we have rented in the area.
