This is a magnificent one bedroom condo with two beautiful bathrooms, both with large walk in showers, right on the Sea of Cortez at the Villas De Cortez in the Van Wormer Resorts. Walk out your sliding glass door and you are steps to the pool. Then down a few steps to the Sea of Cortez. First floor units are a big plus in this building, since you do not have to use stairs or elevator to access pool area.

Location of this building is in a perfect location, since you can WALK to the Heart of Los Barriles in minutes. Two grocery stores are very close as well as many great, inexpensive restaurants. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

There are two queen sized beds in the bedroom, and a sofa in the living room plus an airbed. So the unit can sleep 6 comfortably, if 2 in each queen. This condo is in the Villas de Cortez Unit #1105.

This is a well wonderful price for this unit. This unit rents from the Management company for $320 to $380 per night or more.. Our rates are based from $250 per night, which can vary for high and low seasons, plus a modest cleanup fee at departure (around $75 US). Los Barriles is a quiet village with many good casual inexpensive restaurants, and affordable shops. A great place for a couples get a way or a family vacation on the ocean in luxury. I will provide a list of recommended restaurants prior to arrival or in the white notebook in the unit..

Also, in November, 2024, the resort will open 24 pickle ball courts.

The condo is in the perfect location to enjoy all of what Los Barriles has to offer, pool, beach, town and restaurants. The owner was very responsive when we had any questions or needed assistance. We enjoyed our visit and can't wait to come back.

The location was perfect. Watching the sunrise most mornings is what I enjoy the most when I'm in LB. Unfortunately I needed to pay attention to the comments in regard to the beds. Both mattresses in the bedroom were beyond extra firm, and my husband made an additional mattress layer for me with all the extra pillows; hence the comment princess and the pea. We definitely did not lay in bed this vacation. Our host compiled a list of all of our already favorite restaurants and having an automated lock made the check-in/check-out process much simpler. The only suggestion I would make is that there are directions provided with check-out; i.e. what do we do with the sheets, towels, etc. I appreciate the stay and the access to all of our favorites in LB!

This condo is in a perfect location, as it is in walking distance to grocery shopping, the downtown area, for restaurants and bars. The condo is right on the beach area, with a restaurant about 50 steps from the door. It had everything we required for over a 8 week stay. Mr. Landy, was very easy to work within we had any questions or concerns. Highly recommended for long stays as well as short. Lois

Love Los Barillas and the property and location were excellent. Very comfortable and the staff at Bay View took great care of us. We felt very safe all hours of the day, although we would suggest that there is a way to change the access code to the property and that there was a safe.

We were meeting some friends to go fishing and Palmas de Cortez was booked due to a marlin tournament. I found this spot at Villas de Cortez and it was perfect!! The bottom floor location made it literally just a few steps from the pool and we were close to all the restaurants at Palmas de Cortez and had access to both the Villas de Cortez and Palmas de Cortez pools and other amenities. The condo was spacious and had 2 bathrooms as well as washer and dryer which was helpful for our family. The kitchen has everything you need and the fridge kept our drinks cold. :) Would definitely recommend staying here and hope our family will be able to book this place again in the near future. **Note: ladies I would recommend bringing your own hair dryer as the one there was not very powerful and took forever to dry my hair and my hair is short.

The location in the complex is the best it gets and we loved how friendly everyone was. We be also liked that the the restaurant and swim up bar were on a reliable schedule with good food. We really liked the walk out location to the pool for the kids, but know that the pools aren’t heated and there is no hot tub at the Villas so we had to go to the hotel pool for the for the kids to swim. It was February so probably the only month you would need the hot tub. We will be back and hope to stay here again. It would have been nice to have some beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers available so you can explore the beaches in style. But that’s about it. Thanks!

We had a wonderful time in Los Barriles and this property is perfect - easy access to the deck, pool, and beaches and a short walk into town. The place was clean and spacious. There were a few amenities missing that would have been helpful, but overall great stay.

Location great was nicely located within hotel - condo made access to restaurant and bar easy. Cons unit had a musty smell, no drinking water supply provided, light switching confusing. Laundry was a strange and small setup. Host was excellent

We love to stay in Los Barriles through the years and palmas hotel is a great place to stay . With the pool / snack bar / restaurant make it easy with family . We had may activity planned in the area with fishing / snorkeling/ ATV /waterfalls to keep us busy . The room was in a great location with easy walk out access to the pool area . The place was clean and easy check in and out . The only thing that could have made the stay better was the sleeping arrangements that said to sleep 8 . The bedroom sleeps 4 . There a blow up mattress that will hold 2 but had a leak and you could have a kid possibly sleep on the couch . I would definitely stay again here but would consider staying with a group of 4 .

My hubby and I had a great time staying at this property. The views were incredible. Hotel staff was super nice and attentive. The Location was very close to town. The pictures don’t do it justice. Lots of space too. Great size kitchen living room and bedroom. AC worked great. The washer and dryer are very small and didn’t work too well. We didn’t care though. Everything else was awesome.

This property is in a great location and right next to the pool! Our family enjoyed all the amenities and the relaxed nice atmosphere. The restaurant next door was great, and the beach was nice. We even caught a few fish from the shore right out the back door! We will definitely be back!

Dick the owner was great in communicating and this created a very smooth check-in proccess. Pedro the property manager was always pleasant and helpful with any questions me or my two sons had. We had epic fishing experiences fishing from both shore and boats. This unit is on th ground floor with quick and easy acesss to the pool. bar, beach and fleet of fishing charters - and a walk away from the supermarket. And you are in Los Barriles - a special place that still retains the real Baja spirit.

We have been to Los Barriles and Hotel Palmas many times over the last 25 years. This was the first time we rented Richard's villa and it was perfect. Loved the location, access and the cleanliness. We will definitely be back!

Location, location, location!

The location was perfect for our trip. You are right next to Palmas De Cortez and all that it has to offer. We were there to fish so this was perfect for us. The AC in the unit was very much appreciated. The pool was just steps away from the back door - which was amazing. It was maybe 1-1/2 mile walk to the grocery store and restaurants. Loved that there were 2 beds in the one bedroom. After seeing other units and talking with other owners, it would have been nice if there was a key pad on the back sliding door so you could go in and out that way. I understand there was a break in and renters things were stolen because they left the back door unlocked. Also would have been nice if the unit had basic things like paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent and soap to run the dishwasher. My understanding is that this stuff gets taken by the cleaning staff when renters leave. Fortunately I had taken laundry soap with me so I at least had that. The unit could use some minor updates and repairs but it was still very nice and well worth the money spent to stay here. I would definitely staying again. Just next time I will be more prepared.

Beautiful little town

Rough start getting in as check in on sight was mostly non-existent. Once that was sorted out it was a wonderful stay. The unit is spacious with lots of appliances and walks right out to the pool. The swim up bar is not staffed but it's probably more relaxing because there is less of a crowd. I plan on coming back.

Traveled to Los Barriles for a long weekend stay with a few girlfriends. The location of Richard’s property couldn’t have been better. You open the patio doors and the pool and swim-up bar is within a few feet. The unit is located in the Private villas section of the hotel so it is a lot less crowded but you still have access to all hotel amenities. Los Barriles is a true gem. Everyone we meet was so kind, the food was amazing, and the beaches and scenery were perfect. I can’t wait to plan my trip back and will definitely being staying at Richard’s place again!

We recently spent a week here and it was the perfect spot for our first visit to Los Barriles. The spacious unit is very well-equipped and the first floor location makes for easy access to the patio and pool area. It is a short walk to pick up groceries and various restaurants are nearby as well. The owner provided us with helpful information about the unit and the town prior to our arrival. We hope to return again!

Great place to visit

This is our 4th time staying at Villas De Cortez and it feels very comfortable. It is great to walk out the patio door to eat breakfast or have a beer. It is also nice to be able to walk to town or down the beach to rent a paddleboard. I'm already missing the blue skies and warm temps.

The dock is a great host this place was amazing two bathrooms one for gas and one for the main couple everything in the kitchen that we needed to prepare lovely meals to sit outside in the beautiful breeze you could walk just a few steps out the door and be swimming up to the swim up bar or lay out in the sun and listen to the lapping waves this condo had everything that we needed it was clean and what I love the most about it was it was authentic you didn’t feel like you were in New York at a hotel you felt like you were in golfed in the culture of Mexico with all of the comforts of being at home it was absolutely lovely lovely lovely lovely

Being on the ground floor makes this property great. You are just feet from the pool and one of the best restaurants in Los Barrilies. The unit was clean, will maintained, safe, good internet, owner was responsive. It was not a negative for us but being close to the restaurant some evenings you do hear music until about 10PM. We will be returning.
