About this apartment rental

Unit 802 in Paradise Resort is a corner unit with a direct oceanfront balcony that stretches from the living room to the master bedroom. This spacious 1800 sq ft unit features a full kitchen with a living room and dining area. This unit comfortably accommodates 16 guests with a large kitchen, dining and living room area. This building features indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, kiddie play areas and a lazy river.

Our units are being prepared and cleaned per CDC recommendations.

Paradise Resort unit 802 is a direct oceanfront 1800 sq ft 4 bedroom/3 bathroom 8th floor condo located in the most desirable and south central location of Myrtle Beach and sleeps up to 16 people comfortably. This condo offers a custom decorated Tommy Bahama decor, a full kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit, free wireless internet, a flat screen TV in every room and an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean. Linens & towel are provided with this rental. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a private bathroom. The second bedroom has two queen sized beds. The 3rd bedroom has 2 full sized beds. These two bedrooms share a full bath. In addition, the living room has a queen pullout couch. There is a lockout unit that has 2 queen beds as well as a private bathroom and private balcony. The unit features a large private oceanfront balcony with unobstructed views of the ocean. Enjoy the extensive amenities, which include a full gym, game room, and 5 pools including indoor and outdoor heated pools, hot tub, indoor and outdoor kiddies' pools with a mushroom waterfall and bubbles, and a fun 170 ft lazy river. All pools offer gorgeous views of the beach and the ocean! Parking is located in the same building as the unit and provides the guest with 3 spots.

About the area:
There are many fun-filled family activities within a short distance from the condo. The Family Kingdom, a family theme park is only a short walk away. There’s also Ripley’s Aquarium featuring thousands of sea creatures. There are also miniature golf courses, shops, water parks, mini-race tracks and eateries all at your doorsteps. There are shows playing at the Carolina Opry Theater, The Legend, and Palace Theater.

Myrtle Beach is a golf haven with over a 100 golf courses to choose from, all within a short drive from the condo. There are many restaurants and shops to fit every taste. We’re certain that you’ll enjoy your stay in this beautiful 4 bedroom oceanfront condo.

This property is Smoke Free. Guests may smoke on the outdoor balcony only. A $250.00 cleaning fee will apply if smoking occurs within a guest room.

Effective 1/1/2022: The onsite rental management company has denied access to our guests to the following amenities: All on property restaurants.
This is a non-smoking unit and there will be a $300 charge if it is discovered that someone in your party smoked inside the unit or on the balconies.

This is a no pets allowed building and if you bring a pet into the unit during your stay you will be fined $300.

You must be at least 25 years old when reserving this unit and most of the people staying in the unit must be 25 years old.

There will be no additional charges if the following provisions are met:

• No damage is done to the condo or its contents and the unit is returned to us in the condition it was given in
• Premises are maintained in good condition and used in a careful and lawful manner
• All kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans are left cleaned and orderly
• No linens or household items are missing or damaged
• No early check-in or late check-out (check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10am) that are not approved by the owner
• The condo has not been smoked in including the balconies
• No pets of any kind are kept on premises
• No illegal activities are conducted in the unit or the premise of the condominium
• Loud noise is not permitted in the building, the property or unit
• You cannot have more people staying in the unit than what the reservation was approved for when accepted by the owner

Cancellation Policy:
• You will receive your full deposit back if you cancel 60 days prior to check in
• You will lose all paid rental funds if you cancel your reservation within 60 days of check in
• If we discover that you are under the age of 25, we can cancel your reservation immediately and retain all payments made to date unless it is more than 60 days prior to your check in
• We reserve the right to increase the damage deposit for any rental if any of the above provisions are not met

We are serious about the above rules and regulations and strongly enforce them, so please make sure that all the individuals in your party are made aware of these prior to checking in.

Tenant agrees to the following:
1. Maintain the premises in good condition.
2. Use premises in a careful and Lawful manner.
3. Vacate premises at the expiration of the term by the departure time.
4. Excessive cleaning expenses will be charged to the credit card on file or retained from the damage deposit.
5. Be responsible for and reimburse owner for replacement or repair of any damage to the condo or contents thereof caused as a result of misuse, neglect, negligence on the part of the Tenant or Tenant’s family, or guest for damage done above the amount held for the damage deposit.
6. Hold Owner harmless from any claims, action, damages, liabilities and expenses in connection with loss of life, personal injury and/or damage or loss to personal property, arising from or out of any occurrence in, upon or at the leased premises, occasioned wholly or in part by any act or omission of Tenant, or Tenant’s family, or guests or as the result of any defective item on the premises.

Host is EXTREMELY difficult and unresponsive to deal with. The host will not accommodate for any needs (even very simple or basic) and was not helpful in assisting with any questions. We dealt with extenuating circumstances of being stranded and host disregarded our situation. WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO AVOID PROPERTY LISTING AT ALL COSTS.

We really enjoyed the condo and it was very clean. We did have an issue with the location, our bad, we didn't research this enough. But, with that being said, it was somewhat unsettling that the building was not secure, none of the doors from the parking garage were ever locked and there was not one person at the facility checking wrist bands for the pool and other amenities - we noticed people walking from the parking lot with all of their belongings and using the pool, daily. Another really disturbing issue was the constant smell of marijuana in and around the facility, we wouldn't even let the grandkids sit on the balcony because the odor was so pungent, and in the hallway and elevators it was just as bad. Final issue - glad we didn't pay for the extra parking pass because the last 2 nights we were there, 2 of our 3 passes were no good, there was no parking available in the garage - and we did notice that there were several cars without passes, again, no one monitoring this.

We celebrated the Christmas holidays with all of our adult children. Kitchen is fully stocked. Loved how huge each of the rooms were. Each person had their own full or Queen bed, and the master had a King bed. Everyone loved the indoor pools and heated lazy river. Only challenge was the keypad on the door didn’t always work. The condo can accommodate a lot of people but it needs additional chairs for dining at the table. Only had six chairs - we had to bring our own extra folding chairs.
