Unit 701 in Grand Atlantic Resort is a corner unit with a direct oceanfront balcony that stretches across the living room to the master bedroom. This spacious 1800 sq ft unit features a full kitchen with a living room and dining area. This unit comfortably accommodates 16 guests with a large kitchen that is fully stocked for cooking. This building features indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, kiddie play areas, a lazy river and an on premise restaurant.
Our units are being prepared and cleaned per CDC recommendations.
This is a direct oceanfront 1800 sq ft 4 bedroom/3 bathroom, 7th floor condo located in the most desirable and central location of Myrtle Beach with a large balcony. This condo offers a custom decorated Tommy Bahama decor, a full kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit, free wireless internet, a flat screen TV in every room and incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean. Linens & bath towel are provided with this rental. The master bedroom has a king size bed along with an in suite private bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 queen beds and the third bedroom has two full beds. The forth bedroom has 2 queen beds, a private bathroom and private balcony as well as its own private entrance and can be accessed from the main living area. In addition, the living room has a pullout sofa bed. The unit features a large private oceanfront balcony with unobstructed views of the ocean. Enjoy the extensive amenities, which include a full gym, game room, and 5 pools including indoor and outdoor heated pools, hot tub, indoor and outdoor kiddies' pools with a mushroom waterfall and bubbles, and a fun 170 ft lazy river. All pools offer gorgeous views of the beach and the ocean! Parking is located in the same building as the unit and provides the guest with 3 spots.

There are many fun-filled family activities within a short distance from the condo. The Family Kingdom, a family theme park is only a short walk away. There’s also Ripley’s Aquarium featuring thousands of sea creatures. There are also miniature golf courses, shops, water parks, mini-race tracks and eateries all at your doorsteps. There are shows playing at the Carolina Opry Theater, The Legend, and Palace Theater.
Myrtle Beach is a golf haven with over a 100 golf courses to choose from, all within a short drive from the condo. There are many restaurants and shops to fit every taste. We’re certain that you’ll enjoy your stay in this beautiful 4 bedroom/3 bath oceanfront condo.
This property is Smoke Free. Guests may only smoke in the designated smoking areas around the building. A $250.00 cleaning fee will apply if smoking occurs within a guest room.
You must be over 25 years of age to book this condo.
This is a non-smoking unit and there will be a $300 charge if it is discovered that someone in your party smoked inside the unit or on the balconies.
This is a no pets allowed building and if you bring a pet into the unit during your stay you will be fined $300.
You must be at least 25 years old when reserving this unit and most of the people staying in the unit must be 25 years old.
There will be no additional charges if the following provisions are met:
• No damage is done to the condo or its contents and the unit is returned to us in the condition it was given in
• Premises are maintained in good condition and used in a careful and lawful manner
• All kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans are left cleaned and orderly
• No linens or household items are missing or damaged
• No early check-in or late check-out (check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10am) that are not approved by the owner
• The condo has not been smoked in including the balconies
• No pets of any kind are kept on premises
• No illegal activities are conducted in the unit or the premise of the condominium
• Loud noise is not permitted in the building, the property or unit
• You cannot have more people staying in the unit than what the reservation was approved for when accepted by the owner
Cancellation Policy:
• You will receive your full deposit back if you cancel 60 days prior to check in
• You will lose all paid rental funds if you cancel your reservation within 60 days of check in
• If we discover that you are under the age of 25, we can cancel your reservation immediately and retain all payments made to date unless it is more than 60 days prior to your check in
• We reserve the right to increase the damage deposit for any rental if any of the above provisions are not met
We are serious about the above rules and regulations and strongly enforce them, so please make sure that all the individuals in your party are made aware of these prior to checking in.
Tenant agrees to the following:
1. Maintain the premises in good condition.
2. Use premises in a careful and Lawful manner.
3. Vacate premises at the expiration of the term by the departure time.
4. Excessive cleaning expenses will be charged to the credit card on file or retained from the damage deposit.
5. Be responsible for and reimburse owner for replacement or repair of any damage to the condo or contents thereof caused as a result of misuse, neglect, negligence on the part of the Tenant or Tenant’s family, or guest for damage done above the amount held for the damage deposit.
6. Hold Owner harmless from any claims, action, damages, liabilities and expenses in connection with loss of life, personal injury and/or damage or loss to personal property, arising from or out of any occurrence in, upon or at the leased premises, occasioned wholly or in part by any act or omission of Tenant, or Tenant’s family, or guests or as the result of any defective item on the premises.

I was pleased with our overall stay. Finding the key is a bit challenging as it is in a different location but if you follow the instructions you will be fine. Definitely booking again!

We just had four gentlemen down for bike week stayed at the beautiful Atlantis had a great time very clean very roomy great location, getting the room keys at the lock box was a little tricky as we couldn't see The lock box because there was a van blocking it? A big thanks for Rufia for hosting us

Getting the key to begin with was in a shady location and difficult to find! Condition of the condo and location were good but we will never rent from this host again! After checkout, we were informed by email that a TV screen had been cracked and we were being charged $200. The TV in question was in the corner of the one of the bedroom and was never used!! We did not crack the screen, however, I realize it is her word against ours. After multiple calls to VRBO we were told they were looking into it and assigned us a "case #". It has been 2 weeks since our last conversation with them and we have yet to receive any further response from them!

Check in is a little difficult but after about 30 min I was able to get into the box. The condo is nice, no bugs as some stated in previous reviews. The washer was not working the first day then after using pliers to turn the knob I got it working. The dryer does not work, element is out and the belt squeaks horribly. The manager said he knew and had parts ordered. But I was not told before renting when I had asked the manager previously. The third bathroom started leaking around the toilet and going into the condo below so they shut that bathroom down. Which is one of the reasons I rented the condo as well, for the 3rd bathroom considering I had 8 people, 6 being teenagers. The manager did give me a free day at the end so I could go to the laundry mat again and get everything packed. The condo is nice, had plenty of extras in the kitchen, the ice machine does not work though. The towel rack fell off the wall in the master bathroom as soon as I placed the towel on it. Overall, I feel as if they should have been upfront of the non working dryer, and the other issues and I would have rented somewhere else.

Check in was a little stressful. You do have to read the email about check in. The post they speak about to find the key lockbox is VERY small and where they say it is however there was a lot of people around it and the units weren't marked where i could see them. Took us about 20 mins to find. Location of unit 701/702 (adjoining) is perfect. Centrally located and right on the beautiful beach. Spectacular view! The unit seemed to need a lot of love. Beds were great in 702 but 701 could use an upgrade. Walls need a coat of paint or cleaned. Bathrooms are in great condition, plenty of towels. Master bedroom's black out curtain is full of holes in the backing so when the sunrises it looks really bad. Had to kill 4 bugs. I know bugs go hand and hand with the beach so these did not upset me and they were not in the kitchen. Kitchen seemed to have all that was needed to cook. We were under 20 minutes to the nearest Publix. All in all the room served its purpose. If i were to do it again I probably would choose another unit for this price (around three a night).

Pros: Great Location, Great Beach, Spacious, Well-Equipped.
Cons: Roaches, Dirty Carpet, Only Partially Cleaned after previous guest, Out-dated Furniture, Fixtures and Appliances, Lack of Maintenance, Lack of response to basic problems.
Baby High Chair assembled incorrectly - had to purchase screw driver to correct the problem when the maintenance people told us it would be the next day before they could get to it.
Ceiling Fan was missing a screw on a blade and had other loose screws making it dangerous when operated.
Garbage Disposal did not work - had to reset breaker on bottom of unit and clean out all the jammed shells that were left from prior guest.
Ice Maker does not work, Fridge leaks water into freezer and fridge compartments.
Preheated Oven to make a pizza and so much smoke rolled out that all doors had to be opened, and a fan started, to clear it. Had to clean the oven before we could use it.
Security swing bar on front door was not operable.
I have stayed at dozens of VRBO's and other rental agencies over the years and by far this is the most disappointed that I, and my family have ever been! This unit needs a major renovation to be up to any traveler's expectations. We will not stay again, nor recommend it.

Although the property is dated, it was very clean.
It had all of the basics to get you started for your time there including dish soap, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters and salt/pepper.
The appliances worked but the dishwasher was not attached and kept tipping out. The W/D worked but made awful noises. The ceiling fan in the master was broken. When notifying the owner, we were told that they are planning to remove ALL fans and wouldn’t fix it unless it was a hazard. It was not. However the master has larger slides that face the ocean/sun and the room uncomfortably warm. The AC is regulated and would not go below 70 degrees. While normally that would be acceptable… without a fan, it made it unpleasant.
Overall a good unit. But needs some improvement.
