About this house rental
This premium home has everything you need in a vacation property. Designed for family fun this 4200 square foot home can handle one large family or a combination of smaller ones. There are 5 bedrooms, with one being a huge bunk room, and 4 bathrooms. Depending on the season you are only a few minutes drive from either fantastic skiing or two highly rated golf courses. The main-floor master bedroom has a king sized bed, two sink vanity, large walk in shower and soaking tub. The top floor includes a full bathroom, a bedroom and the bunk room. A queen sized bed and twin day bed await you in the bedroom, while custom built twin beds await you in the bunk room. Perfect for kids and grown ups alike. The downstairs has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double bed. You will also find the game room and theater room downstairs.
Enjoy the fully-equipped kitchen with beautiful granite counter tops. Lots of cupboard space with plenty of dishes and utensils to feed your hungry crew. Relax in the great room highlighted by a stone fireplace with huge windows facing the lake. The views from the deck are spectacular. This is a perfect place to unwind with a cup of coffee and let nature calm your soul. A gas grill on the deck makes grilling easy.

Our home sits on a beautiful 2 acre lot. Walking down to the large sandy beach you will encounter white pine, birch and maple trees. A fire pit located near the house gives you a nice view of the lake.

Everyone will love the Home Theater room with stadium seating .

Our entire experience was excellent - Dan is so responsive & easy to work with. The house was spotless and well stocked between the kitchen, board games, corn hole, kayaks, and swim noodles! The big kids (in their 20’s) of the family enjoyed the bunk room, theater & old arcade games too. The house fit the 13 of us & is such a comfortable place to spend time together. The view from the deck and the dock are spectacular, such a beautiful spot - we will definitely stay again when we come visit our Minnesota family! Thanks Dan for being so accommodating!

We had 5 adults and 5 children. This rental exceeded our expectations. Lots of space, wonderful living areas, entertainment included with the game room, theater and playroom. The views are wonderful, good for watching a thunderstorm if you enjoy that. Thanks Dan and Suzanne!

This was the perfect spot for a three generation family gathering. The grandkids loved the bunk room!! And the movie room, and the indoor shuffle board! We had fun at Giant's Ridge and great together time at the cabin. Dan was very responsive and we are ready to rebook for next winter!!!

We had 12 guys in for a golf weekend. The property was beautiful and had all the amenities. Easy check in and great communication during the entire process. Close to both golf courses and ski hill. Would HIGHLY recommend this property.

This was our second time staying at this lovely lake home. Clean, well-stocked, and all-around beautiful. Fabulous, clean lake and nice trails for hiking & biking. Owner responds quickly to any questions. The price has gone up substantially vs. the first time we stayed, but we chalked it up to increased demand for this large, gorgeous cabin.

This was our 6th year at this house. Our family consists of individuals from small children to older adults. As always it does not disappoint. We love the bunk room for the kids. And the private beach if fantastic. The kids played for hours. We’ve already booked next years trip.

Beautiful private location surrounded by pine trees with large deck for eating and enjoying the sunsets. The home was clean with plenty of space to soread out. The theater room & bunk room are suoer cool! Great sand beach for the kids. Tons to do on the lake with kayaks, paddle boards and canoe plus the area has a lot to offer. Would love to stay again and highly recommend it!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful property, it really couldn't work out much better for what our group likes to do. We golfed the immaculate Giants Ridge courses which are only 5 minutes away, grilled out on the spacious deck overlooking the lake, and rented a pontoon for one of the evenings on the lake. We will book again if it's available!

Can’t say enough about the property, had a great time. Plenty of room for our party 11. Great gathering places in the house and on the property. Spent a lot of time on the large deck with comfortable chairs and tables. Used the Grill frequently. Enjoyed the fire pit area, and wood supplied. The highlight, especially for the kids, was the large sandy beach with paddle boards, kayaks and beach toys. Those who brought bikes raved about the local biking options. Great hiking paths as well.

We had a large family group making its first ever trip to Giants Ridge. This cabin was a great location, very close to the ski hill. The home was well suited for a larger family and everyone had space. A week before we arrived the owner informed us of a malfunction with the both the microwave and dishwasher. We made due without the dishwasher and the owner did provide a backup microwave, which was critical. Overall this was a wonderful place to rent and we would definitely recommend it for winter trips. I'd wager it would be even more fun to stay in the summer.

Three families stayed here in March for an extended weekend. It was very convenient being so close to Giants Ridge. Folks xc skied and ice-fished on the lake. The kids enjoyed the theatre. Communication with the owner was very easy. Will definitely say here again.

We stayed here for a family ski weekend with 3 families (6 adults, 5 kids). Excellent location just a couple minutes from Giants Ridge. The house is amazing. We had 4 deer bedded down in the back yard. The house is perfect for larger groups. The kids loved the bunk room. The kitchen is easily the best equipped VRBO kitchen we’ve ever seen. Excellent communication with the owners who gave us some great ideas for other things to do. I am happy to give them my highest recommendation. We can’t wait to go back again!!

This home was absolutely gorgeous, had all the comforts of home, catered to kids, and the views were incredible. Very clean, instructions were available for any questions we may have had, and the host was friendly and accommodating. Most definitely would stay here again!

Wonderful home for our children, their spouses and grandchildren. Met and exceeded our expectations. Would definitely rent again, all amenities were available as described. The bunk room was adored by the the tweens and teens. Yvette was a quick response, but had everything taken care of so little communication was necessary, so we were able to enjoy this beautiful home and it’s surroundings. Thank you.

Had a great stay at this rental home with our family + 3 more families (5 kids, 8 adults). Plenty of room and great touches throughout the house (games, beach toys, streaming tv services, horseshoes, theater room, etc.). Well, at least if you're an all-adult group -- I wouldn't expect much peace with a houseful of kids, but this is perfect for any and all! We were 8 adults who enjoyed the fully-equipped kitchen for almost all our meals, inside and on the huge deck, grilling on a couple of occasions; we swam, sunned, kayaked, canoed, used the inflatables; we hiked the huge system of trails in the area, which offer a range of lengths and challenges; we listened to music in the living room while reading and hanging around; we watched movies and Ted Lasso in the movie room; relaxed around the fire pit. We took a day trip to Grand Marais (about 5 hours RT) and Duluth (2 hrs RT). Plenty of room to get away by yourself if needed. We had a dishwasher issue that Yvette responded to immediately (plus -- important! -- I had foolishly relied on being able to access the email with entry code on my phone when we got to the house, but there is very weak cell signal in the area, and I was able to get a message to her, and she responded right away -- you DON'T want to be tired from a day of traveling, have a carful of groceries and be stranded on the porch, so PRINT THEM OUT or screenshot what you need). The house is absolutely gorgeous, quiet, and beautifully appointed. It would also be terrific for kids -- plenty of unbreakable dishware, beach toys, other toys and play areas and of course the bunk room with its own TV. We chose end of summer to avoid bugs and heat, but I would love to have a winter getaway here as well -- so many opportunities for skiing and snowshoeing. Well-stocked grocery store 10 minutes away, as well as great pizza at Vi's. Easy to deal with trash at the dumpster and recycling can be brought to a center 15 minutes away. We loved our time there!
