About this house rental
Beautiful lakefront home with amazing sunsets. Lots of amenities to entertain the kids. Indoor racquetball court/ ping pong table/ 1 adult kayak and 2 kids kayaks. New Max vinyl dock on deep water. There is plenty of room to dock your boat or jet ski. Bring your own or rent one at one of the nearby marinas.
We are located less than 2 miles from Publix and the new theater. Plenty of golf courses and restaurants all around. You can boat or drive to dining.
Our lake house is in Reynolds, a fifteen hundred acre vacation destination with approximately eighty miles of shoreline on Lake Oconee. Reynolds has been voted one of the top 5 golf resorts in the world.
The Ritz Carlton, located a short 3 miles away and offers one of the top 5 rated Spas in the US by Conde Naste Traveler magazine plus dining options like Gabby's on the Water.

The house was excellent for our 12 visiting family members. The ping pong table was very busy with a tournament most nights. The kids loved being right at the lake and the water equipment available at the house.

We just finished our third stay at this property and had a great time. There was plenty of space for everyone, the view was so relaxing, and it is convenient to local stores and restaurants and was a quick drive to Athens for a college look. Jess is always a wonderful host!

We had an amazing stay at Jess's property on Lake Oconee. Two families away together, right on the water with fantastic choice of bedrooms and a wonderful kitchen made for catching up and chatting. The dock and water sports equipment was great for the adults and teens.

The pictures do not do this house justice! It was extremely clean and comfortable. The house had everything we needed and more. Jess was amazing and incredibly communicative. It was close to the Ritz for cocktail hour. We played in the lake all weekend. The dock, water, paddle boards were amazing to be able to use. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and the bedrooms were nice and comfy. It was the perfect place to host a girls weekend. We all loved it! Thank you for having us!

So much space for everyone! Decor is very nice. You can tell the owners have put a great deal of effort into the all of details and extras! Our family had the best time! There is so much to do. We could have stayed all summer! Hosts are very attentive.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jess and her amazing home! We had a girls’ trip getaway-moms, all deficient in time away from our kids. This was the most beautiful setting, view of the lake, quiet, clean home. It would be amazing as a rental for families. It’s so close to the Ritz as well. Jess was so attentive, and offered advice on places to eat, and activities to do. She checked in while we were there. Just a really lovely trip. If you’re scrolling, stop at this one. It’s worth the trip!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property! Communication with Jess was excellent! She made us feel like we could call for any concerns or needs, but her communication prior to our stay was so thorough that we did not need to.
The property was beautiful, comfortable and plenty spacious. Mattresses slept well. One bed was a little squeaky but comfortable mattress so all was good. We would love to visit again, and hopefully stay longer!

My thoughts
The house has all the amenities for a family, we fished, we paddle board, played racquetball ( which my kids has no idea what it was) , ping pong, foosball… , lots of sleeping arrangements for multiple families. House is older but you won’t know it as you hang out and enjoy the surroundings. Truly has everything you need and everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. Actually showed a friend of mine and is renting it for his extended family. Thanks and hope this helps

Moms Weekend Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at this property. We were a group of 5 moms needing a little R&R. The house layout is great for entertaining with lots of seating areas and a big kitchen in which to move around. The house was very clean and we found the beds extremely comfortable. Jess is very responsive and has great suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks Jess!

Quiet cove spacious house
This house was perfect for our extended family gathering. We had 2 families and grandma and there was more than enough space. The only drawback for families with littles is that all of the single beds and bunkbeds are downstairs while the bigger beds for adults are upstairs. That was literally the only issue we ran into.
Check in and check out were a breeze. And the location was just perfect. We really liked the kayaks and dock. It was a quiet little cove where the kids (ages 4-8) could play and have fun without fear of boat traffic.
We rented a boat and drove it straight to the dock without issue. This house is fabulous and we will be returning next year for our annual family gathering at Lake Oconee.

UGA football fun
Our group of 10 had another great weekend at this beautiful property. You should have seen that November sunset over Lake Oconee at the cookout Saturday night! We enjoyed walks through the neighborhood, the convenience of being near the stores and restaurants, and a fantastic kitchen den combined space. Another most enjoyable weekend.

AMAZING PROPERTY!!!!!
Beautiful and immaculate property! The house had plenty of room for my daughter and her friend's and our family to celebrate her 13th birthday! So many fun things to do inside and outside of the house. We rented a boat from a rental that was super close and easy to work with and had such a fun time on the water also! The owner had perfect communication and was super helpful with plenty of information. I cannot recommend this place enough and we can't wait to go back and stay here again ASAP! :)

Beautiful Home and Location.
This home was perfect for my families needs, we had flown in from all over the country for my Mom's funeral. The details in the listing were spot on. I want to thank Jess for her personalized service. She was extremely responsive, patient and informative. The personalized details of the home and (Lake/Greensboro/Athens) area made the planning of the trip easier for me. There was a lot of space to allow for alone time and a central area where the family could gather for meals and games. I hope we can return and stay in this home again. Great football weekend
Snug Harbor pleased our group again for a UGA football weekend. Spacious kitchen, ample dining area; part of larger perfect room for tv viewing and adjacent grill porch made weekend enjoyment to the maximum degree. Spotless bedrooms and bathrooms as well.

Great Home!
We rented this property for a girls weekend and it could not be more perfect. Plenty of room in the kitchen, living space, out door space, and beds. Would also be great for families with kids! The dock is so nice a well kept and the location is wonderful. I also can not say enough good things about the owner. She went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed for the stay. If I could give her 10 starts I would. We all agreed we would love to go back soon.

Hostess was outstanding. Responsive, helpful, etc. .Lake and location was great. House layout excellent. Lake dock great. House need a little TLC. Outside needs minor cleanup and inside needs some updating( new furniture and other minor items). Overall our family thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Okay, but not “luxury”
Jess & Rick were good hosts; they were quick to respond to questions and quick to fix the broken washing machine. The house itself was okay but could use a really good clean. The upstairs bedrooms were good and spacious. The basement bedrooms (bunk room & triple twins) are suitable though neither have a dresser and the bunk room doesn’t have a closet. The three twin mattresses in the basement may be suitable for children but they are well past their useful life for an adult. The kitchen was very randomly stocked and had some mouse droppings in the cabinets. Overall, the house is a average lake home suitable for a holiday but certainly not of the “luxury” quality that is advertised in the title.
The location and the lake access were great though be aware that Reynolds Plantation amenities (pool, golf, pickle ball) are not available to renters.

Great, spacious house in a quiet gated community with all the amenities you could need. Excellent location on the lake. Kids never got bored, tons of things/games to do. Lots of good restaurant options close by (Da Corrado was fantastic). Would definitely do that entire trip again.

Excellent visit second year in a row.
We stayed at at this pretty property with 8 teens between 16-18 years old and everyone had a great time. There was more than enough entertainment around the house during the afternoon showers or in the evening with the racquetball court, ping pong and foosball etc. The easy access to the lake and boat rentals is fantastic and the kids totally enjoyed tubing and wake surfing and well as using the paddle boards that were provided. Jess was quick to answer our questions and provided a lot of information about the area.

Family and Friends Birthday trip
Trip was great! Weekend getaway to celebrate Birthday. House was perfect, larger than expected, great downstairs, kitchen , and dock for boat. It was cold and rainy and the house had ping pong and foosball to keep everyone occupied. Owner was in touch and never more than a text away if needed anything.

Incredible property! Everything you need under one roof.
We stayed here as a family to celebrate my sister’s birthday in a manner that wouldn’t require crowds or public spaces. Our family of 8 (5 adults and 3 kids) had more than enough room to spread out and enjoy our time.
The photos really don’t do this place justice. Beautiful screened porch with a view. Many places to gather and relax, both inside and outside.
The kids LOVED the racquetball court! (The adults might have enjoyed it a bit as well). The kayak, standup paddle boards, ping pong table and foosball table also got plenty of use. The kids were never bored, never asked for video games and enjoyed a lot of fun family time.
We cooked all meals in the kitchen, with the exception of picking up dinner one night from GA Butts BBQ (delicious) and we all fit around the dining table.
Jess was a very communicative and informative host. She even let us know we could enjoy a late checkout, which we took advantage of.
We would definitely stay again!

Great lake home for family gatherings
Very nice lake front property on quiet cove. The house has lots of room for large family gatherings (e.g. two decks plus a lower patio, and gazebo.) Nice dock with boat rentals nearby for skiing, fishing and boating. The kids loved all of the extras - kayaks, paddle boards, foosball, ping-pong and indoor racquetball court. We had a small problem with the cleaning service which the owner, Jill, was quick to acknowledge and address. Jill was a very gracious and helpful host.

Quick family getaway
Our family ages 6-80 enjoyed this home. The main floor had three larger rooms (king and 2 queens). Downstairs was a fun rec area with foozeball and ping pong, in addition to a fun kids room with bunks and another room with three twin beds. Maybe our favorite part was the dock on such an amazing cove. Our family enjoyed paddle boarding and swimming off the dock. Close to town, we would certainly stay here again. The owner was also very responsive and informative.

Perfect lake getaway
This beautiful lake house is very spacious and comfortable! We had two families - 4 adults and 5 kids/teens - and there was plenty of space for all. The game room (extreme ping pong!) and the cool (but unusual) racket ball room were perfect for the kids, while the adults hung out on the screened in porch or large kitchen/great room. The deep water dock was great! There are several paddle boards and kayaks that the kids LOVED and we rented a pontoon boat that easily docked at the property. This house is the most well stocked of any VRBO I’ve been too! Fluffy towels, soap and shampoo in every bathroom, lots of “extras” in the kitchen. Check in was super easy, the neighborhood is lovely and secure. When we had an issue (garage door locked), the host immediately came to our aid. This was a wonderful experience in a beautiful lake house. We can’t wait to return!
