Two-bedroom condo has been newly renovated with tile flooring throughout and new stainless appliances...
Professionally decorated two-bedroom condo perfect for a family, extended family and friends. The master bedroom has a very comfortable king-size bed. The second bedroom has two queen-size beds. The living room features a brand new (as of March 2018) queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress. With upscale mattresses, linens, new LG washer & dryer, high-speed internet, flat-screen smart TVs and other amenities, this unit will give you that "at home" feeling. It will almost make you want to stay indoors. But its location in the heart of Baytowne Village with the shopping, restaurants, kids arcade and playground, nightly events and night life just a short walk away will beckon you outward.
Of course the pool and the workout facilities are even closer ... as a stones throw from your balcony will place you poolside for that quick dip, or that not-so-short walk on the treadmill. The white sands and the azure warm waters of the world's most beautiful beaches are just a short 5-minute drive away. You can even go salt or fresh water fishing off the nearby pier or several lakes; also within easy walking distance.
For those attending conferences in Sandestin - it is an easy 5-minute walk to the Sandestin Conference Center.
Four different 18-hole golf courses are on Sandestin property and three of them are open to the guests staying in the resort. You can even play where Gary Player or Chi Chi Rodriguez have competed in a Champion Tour event if you really want to test your skill. Maybe tennis is your game. If so, then a short 5-minute walk will put you on the court and you can choose your surface, including grass. Interested in boating? The Marina is just down the boardwalk with a casual restaurant and many other activities to engage in.
After spending the day at the beach, pool or on the links, you can return to the nighttime activity in the heart of Sandestin, and your 'home away from home' will allow you to leave the car parked, as you extend your fun well into the night. But before venturing out, you may want to stroll down to the pier and take in some of the most romantic sunsets offered on the Gulf coast. This was the perfect condo for our family of 4. The location to the Wharf was my favorite part! So easy to come and go as needed, and avoid the evening parking mess! The golf cart was perfect to get around Sandestin and we loved the speakers to be able to listen to music. Overall, everything was amazing and we would visit again with this listing!

This was a great place to stay. So much to do right outside your door and the golf cart was a great bonus to go to the beach or run over to Grand Blvd for dinner or shopping. Room was very clean and updated. No worn out furniture. Pool area was a little small but it did the trick and workout area was fine. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in Pilot House! This condo provided everything that we expected and the golf cart was a great bonus. The owner attended to our questions promptly and the check-in process was great. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Overall unit is fine, though our experience with the host was less than great.
Upon our arrival the entire patio (looking out to the pool) was closed, furniture was filthy, and scaffolding outside windows. Turns out they were painting the patio the ENTIRE week we were there.
We booked this unit 6 months in advance and the host never notified us that there might be a possibility we would not be able to use the patio. He claimed he didn't know.
We had men working on our patio daily, starting at 8am, for the entire length of our stay. We could not open our windows, slider, or blinds as they were taped shut.
Halfway through our stay, people had to come and remove the furniture off the deck.
When asking for some sort of a refund for the inconvenience, the host said "if you find another unit, we will refund you", it was spring break, there were no other units, and the only ones available were 3x more than we paid.
After DAYS of going back and forth with the host, he begrudgingly offered a small refund, though at first, he told us he would not be offering us one.
This was our 5th year staying in Sandestin at the Pilot House, and our 2nd year renting this unit. I will never rent from this host again, and I would advise that you look at one of the multiple other properties available.
Other items to note:
- The master bed is extremely firm and you can feel the springs.
- The beach chairs provided were rusted and broken, bring your own.

My husband and I, along with our 2 boys (ages 11 and 15) absolutely loved this place. It was so easy to just walk where we needed to go for dinner and entertainment. The Village has several great places to choose from to dine, shop, and be entertained. We never had to leave from the Village area to go eat, and my boys loved the ice skating and escape rooms that were literally right next to us. We highly recommend this place! We hope to be back soon when the weather is warmer.

The owner was very responsive and accommodating. The condo was clean and fully furnished with everything you need for your stay. A golf cart is a MUST at Baytowne and you’ll enjoy driving to the beach without loading up your car. 5/5 stars! We will certainly book again!

We had an amazing time at this location. The amenities were far beyond what I was imaging. The golf cart was such a fun experience for our family and my children constantly wanted to go for rides.

Great place for a family, and the golf cart was so helpful to get back and forth to the beach. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and very helpful!
Would have been nice to have an extra blanket for the sleeper sofa, but luckily we had one in our car. All in all a great time and place!

This is our second consecutive year staying in this condo and it is perfect for our family and comfortably sleeps 4-6.
Literally steps away from the beautiful pool and hot tub, and just a few more away from all the food and fun of Baytowne Wharf. Take the bikes or the golf cart and be at the beach in less than 5 minutes!
It’s clean and a classic beach decor makes it cozy. I love sipping morning coffee on the balcony listening to the water feature in the courtyard.

My family and I really enjoyed this property at the Pilot House! The house was clean and cozy. We especially enjoyed the walkability to Village at Baytown Wharf. Our son loved the golf cart and we used it many times to cruise down to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Unit was in a great location for shopping and the beach. After booking this one which had a golf cart I don’t think I could ever go back to one without. The golf cart made it so easy to load our stuff and go.

We really enjoyed our visit . Location was fantastic with shops and restaurants right there. Also having Golf cart to get to the beach was great.
Our kids were a little older so some of the attractions would probably be a bit more suited for children ages 8-13.

Even though the weather was a little chilly, we really enjoyed our second trip to this location. We worked out in workout room every morning. Beds were very comfy and unit was extremely clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated. We used the golf cart once and enjoyed cruising the neighborhood. Only complaint was the couch was too mushy and we could have used a nice non stick pan for eggs and such. Restaurants at Baytown were excellent. Would definitely stay here again

This listing was the perfect home away from home. I have been vacationing to Destin/Miramar for over 20 years and this was the perfect location to take the family for fun. The golf cart provided a HUGE ease of access to both the beach and around Baytowne. Matt was very responsive and always available for questions, I would highly recommend this location and Matt to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation

First the good: The location is great. It's a really nice condo. The golf cart was a great benefit and is a major selling point. Based off the first couple of days, we were sold on the place.
The not so good: I think the management of the unit may not be the owner, but I don't know that for sure. I'm not sure why, but when we were there, we had some strict limits on the toilet paper.. to only what is on the roll. And we had one bag for kitchen trash. We asked the owner if there was any more bags and toilet paper in the unit and he sent his cleaner. They only put one roll in the master, no extra in the guest; we had to buy a pack to get us thru the rest of the week in the guest bath. We did take our tp with us when we left, so sorry for the next guy😄
The check out was a little crazy, our code stopped working and we were locked out at 8:55 while we were loading to leave. We had no phones, fortunately we found a building super on the second floor that had the owners number and we were able to get in with his assistance. That was pretty stressful, but once we got Matt on the phone he was quick to help us.

The condo was clean with updated decor, very nice. This may not matter to some….but toilet paper was good quality. Lol. Plenty of nice towels were available. Starter packs of detergent was helpful. Beach items such as chairs and toys were Convenient. We had some with us but this was nice. LOVE having the golf cart. It was so much easier to get around. Will not rent another one without a golf cart now. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely rent this condo again.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay here. This place was exactly how it looked in the pictures and having the pool right outside the balcony was amazing! The beach was a short golf cart ride away. There was great access to shops and restaurants within walking or golf cart riding distance.

First of all I can’t say enough about Matt! He was wonderful to work with and very accommodating! The property was perfect for our family with great sleeping arrangements. The condo was situated overlooking with a view of the lagoon pool with easy access to the gym, parking garage and golf cart. The property was well suited and met our needs. A possible suggestion for future guests is to include better pots & pans / cookware. We are a family that enjoys cooking so it was slightly limited. But still met our needs :) i’m sure most families vacation into the area just dine at restaurants for all of their meals. The condo included the golf cart which was a fabulous & easy way to get around the Sandestin area. We really enjoyed our daily strolls to the beach we n the golf cart! Additionally the unit had beach towels, beach chairs and an umbrella. Another potential suggestion is to include a small cooler and ice packs for guests to use during their stay along with bungie cords to secure items to the golf cart for transportation. We did not use the bikes but I’m sure that that would be a great way to explore Sandestin area as well. Overall this has been our favorite vacation to the Destin/Sandestin area! We can’t wait to book again with Matt in the future!!!! Thank you so much!! :)

Matt was great to work with! Great location and golf cart! Whoever he is paying to clean the property is not doing a good job… patio was very dirty and floors inside hadn’t been mopped from previous stay or who knows how long. If cleaned better would stay again!

There is so much to love about this vacation rental! The check-in and check-out process was easy breezy. The parking was so handy and felt secure. Luggage carts were available at the entrance and the elevator worked great. The unit was as depicted in the pictures with a fantastic view of the pool. It was within walking distance to activities and restaurants. Despite the central location, it was quiet which is so important for families with young children. We were even able to catch some fish off the nearby pier. The golf cart was extra fun with the added sound system. The owner was top notch! He answered all of my questions promptly and in detail. I was so impressed with the awesome communication! There is so much to love about this vacation rental!
