About this house rental

This duplex is the perfect vacation home away from home for families. Each floor has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath, and comfortably sleeps 6 people. It is located just 5 houses from the beach, which makes for quick trips back and forth during your stay.

Choose between two sun decks to take in the summer sun when not headed to nearby Beach Haven shops and restaurants. This well-kept house has everything you could need for your stay, including central heating and air conditioning, WiFi and cable, flat screen TVs, washer and dryer, dishwasher and ceiling fans, plus an outdoor shower, dining set and gas grill in the fenced-in yard. Kitchen is equipped with all utensils, table and cookware. Just bring your own bed linens (sheets and blankets) and towels, and you are all set!

Rental period is Saturday 2:00 pm to Saturday 10:00 am during the summer season, but weekend and partial rental weeks are available pre and post-season.

This was my second time renting this property and will hopefully not be the last! Barbra is very friendly and accommodating. The house is kept in great condition and was very clean. You really cannot beat the location to the beach and it is a 10-15 min walk to great shopping and restaurants. We loved our stay

We had a nice couple days Labor Day weekend '24 here! It was a perfect location to the beach, esp when dragging the kid's beach toys and chairs. The steps to the 2nd floor were a little tough for them - just pointing that out for future families. Everything was more than "good enough" for our couple days stay. It was helpful to have a washer/dryer for our wet bathing suits. The outdoor shower saved the day with my kids, we never bathed inside. Recommendations on adding more silverware - only 6 forks - and other kitchen items that would give an upgrade and make things a little better/easier. Other than that we had a great stay and we'll be back!

The apartment is very comfortable, well-equipped and well-maintained. I especially enjoyed the front and back decks. It is also a very short walk to the beach and a nice - but longer - walk into Beach Haven. I was very happy that Barbra provided beach passes after being disappointed last year at a different property.

We loved our stay here! Barbra was a gracious host who provided everything we needed for our stay, from chairs and beach tags to paper towels and tissues. We appreciated her thoughtful touches. The house was perfect for our needs—just about a block to the beach and within walking/biking distance to all of Beach Haven's wonderful spots — with bright airy rooms, two decks, and comfortable couches and beds. Thanks for a great stay and we hope to be back again soon!

No better place than my Happy Place to celebrate my Birthday weekend while introducing my 11 month old Granddaughter to her first beach experience on the very same beach mine was ! The beach house is charming , the location perfect just a very short walk to the beach … I snuck out to see the sunrise while the baby & my son & his wife slept in ! Our host has thought of everything , we are looking forward to returning hopefully with family & friends renting both up & down next summer ! This was such a clean , well maintained place in a great location ! Don’t hesitate to rent here ! You’ll be very happy you did !

We had an amazing stay. Barbra was great to work with and super accommodating. It was a perfect location for us; We were a short walk to the beach, little stroll to Bay Village and near a bunch of restaurants and shops. We ended up renting bikes and it was an easy (and fun) bike ride down Atlantic to everything we wanted to do.

Our recent stay just steps from the beach was truly enjoyable. The location allowed us to experience the beach within a stone's throw from our accommodation. The apartment itself was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. As a family of four, we appreciated the layout of the apartment, which provided ample room for us to relax and unwind after a day of beach activities. Communicating with Barbra, the host, was a breeze. She was prompt and friendly in her responses, making the entire process seamless. We appreciated her cordial nature and her willingness to assist us with any questions we had during our stay. Although its not listed in the Vbro post, note that the rental does NOT include beach passes. We are used to them being included as part of our weekly rental fee in all of the previous rentals we've stayed at. It's important to plan accordingly and acquire the necessary passes to fully enjoy the beach access. Overall, the proximity to the beach, shopping and Treasure Island was terrific, and the easy communication with Barbra all contributed to a memorable and enjoyable family vacation.

Steps away from the beach! Cute home perfect for a family! The deck was perfect for dinner outside. The front deck is cute to have coffee outside. We walked to many places from the house even though it’s a little further from shopping. There is a diner close by that was so easy to walk to. Our group agreed we would definitely stay here again.

Ample back yard with grills, outdoor shower, clothesline picnic table, etc. The space is cozy, the rooms are smaller but have plenty of space for what you need. Feels like the beach, which makes sense because you're just across the street and maybe 2-3 houses off the sand. There's only one parking spot on the property (one for each level), so street parking will be necessary for extra guests. Nice spot though, landlord/owner was very accommodating!

We had a wonderful three days(June 19-22) on the second floor of this quaint beach home. The property is just a block away from the beach and also minutes away from the Bay village where we loved exploring the shops, playing mini-golf, and watching sunsets on the bay. Barbra, the owner, was very accommodating and easy to reach with any amenity questions we had. We loved the spacious living room where we could all hang out in the evening and play games or watch TV. We really appreciated the extra beach chairs the owners provided as well the outdoor shower to wash off the sand after a fun day at the beach. We definitely wouldn’t hesitate to come back the next time we go to LBI.

The location of this property can’t be beaten. We spent a lot of time day and night on the front deck watching the walkers, runners, skateboarders and cyclists go by. The stairs to the back deck did pose some concern for some of our guests as the steps are steep and not very stable. The unit was well equipped with kitchen needs, however. Barbra was extremely communicative and accommodating. The unit could use some updating, but it definitely served its purpose for the price and proximity to all LBI essentials.

We rented the top floor of this home and the location was perfect! A few houses away from the beach! We celebrated my daughter’s Sweet 16 by letting her invite two friends for the weekend. They loved the proximity to the beach and Bay Village. They also enjoyed time hanging out on the front balcony. Owner was easy to work with and great follow-up. This was a great apartment for a girls' trip. It was very cute and airy, immaculate and full of helpful touches: paper towels, tp, tissues, a Keurig AND a drip coffee pot - with filters - closets with plenty of hangers, a box fan, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, a washer and dryer in the kitchen, a waffle maker, a blender, a toaster, placemats, games, books, great wifi, a keyless entry, a second tv in the queen room, USB-power strips in every room to charge or plug in all your devices or hair dryers, and a partridge in a pear tree! Best of all, it's super-close to the beach.The only downsides (for some) were lots of stairs to the upper unit, one small bathroom, and 3 of the 5 beds were foam (personally, I'm not a fan). As another reviewer mentioned, the queen mattress will need deep-pocket sheets (my old-school sheets kept slipping off the corners).Overall, the pluses seriously outweigh the minuses. Barbra is VERY responsive and it's clear the property is loved and well kept. My sisters and I were very happy!!
