Gute Unterkunft für wenig Geld

Wir hatten eine sehr freundliche und kommunikative Gastgeberin Lisy. Unser sauberes Zimmer war hell und ausreichend groß, mit bequemen Betten und ansonsten praktisch ausgestattet. Das Duschbad war ebenfalls geräumig. Bei nasskaltem Herbstwetter draußen hatten wir es mollig warm. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich, u.a. verschiedene Kaffeespezialitäten, salzig und süß, mit frisch gebackenem Kuchen, verschiedenen Konfitüren, Joghurt. Prima! Für Ausflüge empfiehlt sich auf jeden Fall ein Auto, dann kommt man an sehr viele sehenswerte Ort um und über den Lago Maggiore. Einen Parkplatz gibt's nicht direkt an der Unterkunft, aber mehrere Möglichkeiten in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß.

L'ospitalità e la gentilezza di Lisy. La pulizia della camera. La colazione ottima e abbondante.

È a qualche minuto in macchina dal lungo lago invece di essere in centro al paese. Questo è l'unico difetto che ho trovato.

Das Motto der Betreiberin Lizzy sich als Gast und nicht als Kunde zu fühlen, traf voll zu.

Das renovierte Haus ,an einer tagsüber stark befahrenen Strasse, hat insgesamt 6 Zimmer. Wir waren mit der Ausstattung des Zimmers und des Bades sehr zufrieden. Das Haus liegt in einem typischen alten Wohnviertel mit enger Bebauung und kleinen Gassen. Der Strassenlärm ist tagsüber bis in den Abend trotz geschlossener Fenster gut wahrnehmbar. Parkmöglichkeiten sind in näherer Umgebung vorhanden. Die Bezeichnung ruhige Lage, ist also so nicht ganz zutreffend. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr zuvorkommend und herzlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielfältig und mit frischen Backwaren aufgewertet.

A perfect stay

Perfect stay. Travelling with my girlfriend and dog, Lisy made sure to create the perfect B&B in quaint Verbania. Easy to find, extremely clean and nice rooms (she thought of every si gle detail, so you never have to contact someone with a ton of questions or requests), strong wifi, wonderful breakfast, and incredible host. Even a map showing the location of different types of parking, and coffee, tea, and water in the hallway (complimentary). This is what all B&B should aim to become! Thanks again for an excellent stay. The nearby (3 minute walk) stake house was fantastic, and driving to the lake, enjoying the street market on Saturday, it was an overall great start to our italian adventure.

We have nothing negative to point out.

Very good

Breakfast was so good! Room with airco and clean and bed made up every day.

The location is kind of far from the town. We rented bikes from far out (45 min walk) but it was nice. Good if you have a car though.

Clean and friendly

Lisy is an extraordinary involved host. Whatever your problem or wish or question might be, she is always willing to help and make your stay a success. The room was in a very good condition and extremely clean. Also, just outside the room was a small coffee and tea table to take drinks for free anytime.

Breakfast has not been served before 0830 am which was sometimes a bit late due to our schedule. Also, the residence is not very central but on the outskirts of Verbania. Nevertheless, Verbania-Intra is within walking distance if you are fit.

A great weekend stay in a cozy comfortable room, close to hiking trails

The staff was exceptionally friendly and nice, they gave me indications for hiking and were always there whenever I had any query or issue. I actually enjoyed having a single bed room as I was travelling on my own. the room was nice and cosy. The breakfast had both home made cake but also local cheese and cold meet. Everything was perfect and I am already planning to come back.

Nothing really. It is not up to the B&B owners but be careful when crossing the street - it is narrow without any side walk in the immediate surroundings of the place.

I was driving to Napoli from Switzerland, single night stay.

Lisa was very nice! On breakfast I ate best croissant in my life.

I spent some time parking my car; an info about parking nearby would have been helpful

Exceptional

The host is exceptionally hospitable and warm.She has a beatifully arranged old house that is newly renovated in a rustical , creative plus very warm style.She offeres very clean and comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast.Excellent choice for the money paid!

Position on road meant couldn't open window because of noise, so a bit hot in august...afan would have helped.
