清潔感、高級感があり、建物も雰囲気が良かった。部屋の天井がとても高く、広く感じられた。ミネラルウォーターのサービス、コーヒー紅茶のサービスも良かった。子連れでお寿司以外のご飯がよくお店が決まっていなかったので、スタッフの方に聞き教えてもらったお店の雰囲気も味も良くて大満足でした！

特に無かったが、強いて言うなら、もう少し洋服を掛ける所があれば更に良かったという位。

Best place to stay in Otaru

The hotel is very central. The staffs is very polite and helpful. The food in the Ball restaurant is superb.

Nice and cosy Hotel

Very nice hotel, the staff are nice and communication with English is not a problem. Room is nice and clean! Our room comes with breakfast and dinner, both are fantastic! Location is good, 5mins walk to JR station and 2mins walk to Otaru canal. Will definitely return to stay again!!! =)

Love the old english vibe of the hotel.

NIcely renovated hotel with an english vibe to it. Staff were friendly. We booked the loft room for family of 4 and it could easily sleep 6. There is apple TV with projector in the room and we could mirror it with our ipad. Room is comfortable and feels newly renovated. There is a family mart across the street and it is also within walking distance to Otaru canal and Sakaimachi Dori.

Space constraint means little space for our luggages for our family of 4. Otaru is a quiet town and most shops are close after 5-6pm. So there is no dinner options around the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel but we did not try it. We settled our dinner early at other places before heading back.

Sumptuous and quality high-tea breakfast with Unwind

Location, breakfast was unique, of high quality and superb - would highly recommend to friends and contact.

Parking is limited, although there are ample parking places around hotel.

Good location but tiny rooms

Location is great.

The rooms are tiny even when I have booked a larger room. And there is also a smell. Breakfast is a “high tea style” set which is not great. There are steps at the front door and you have to tug your luggages up.

Totally recommended

Almost everything. The building and interior are beautiful, the room is comfortable with ambience lighting, the guest toilets are classy, the staff are friendly, the hallway carpet is fluffy, the bathroom amenities smell sooo nice that I buy a set for myself from the website.

They don't have green tea for breakfast. It sounds trivial, but I drink only green tea and this is my first time ever not being able to get one for breakfast in a hotel. I asked the staff but he said no they didn't have it.

Perfect place for me

Although it's quite expensive for me, the hotel and the staffs are so great. Especially wine service I love. The location was quite far from the subway station, but I love the place and atmosphere. Someday, if I come this place again, I'll definitely stay at this place.

Loved the hotel! Gorgeous place. Old bank building turned into a boutique space-the bar area was gorgeous, the room was very comfortable and spacious, and me and my friend really enjoyed our stay! Also, the breakfast was delicious!

Historic hotel with friendly staff in the perfect location to explore Otaru.

Beautiful building with stylish room and comfortable bed. Amazing staff! free wine from 5-7 was a great way to start the evening.

Great find in Otaru

The free wine service in the evening was excellent - we got to know wines from Hokkaido. The staff are very friendly and polite. Very stylish and comfortable.
