Enjoy the beautiful North Shore of Kauai at our lovely Alii Kai I Condominium.

It is a ground floor, corner unit sitting on a bluff overlooking the magnificent Pacific Ocean. In the winter be mesmerized by 15 to 25 foot waves. Whales cavorting in the ocean and albatrosses gliding pass your windows. In the summer, enjoy snorkeling below the condominium. Watch the porpoises (dolphins) playing in the ocean and the turtles cavorting in the waves. Many times you will find a monk seal resting on the lava below the condo. There is a short trail which will take you down to the ocean.

We have internet and WiFi for your convenience. We also have a varied library with many Hawaiiana books for your enjoyment plus games, puzzles, and all the beach equipment you might need. A backpack is ready to go for a hike.

This is a peaceful, quiet Hawaiian-style condominium with the rooms looking out onto the ocean and the cool tradewinds wafting through the unit. The sunrises can be spectacular. A wonderful way to relax! While dining at the table, you can watch for the Tropic Birds that are looking for their meal out in the ocean.
We have always prided ourselves on keeping our /slice of Paradise VERY clean and now with the pandemic, we are working even harder to have it germ free for you.

Do you want a very clean, well-equipped place to stay on this beautiful island? What about the fact the Pacific Ocean right outside your front door with no obstructed views. Then, this is the place for you.

Can't beat this spot. Wrap around Lanai for sunrise and sunsets. Quiet location. Many walkable Points of Interest. The condo was clean and had amazing amenities. It felt remote and connected to nature, but close to everythong at the same time. It truly is a Slice of Paradise. Evelyn was an amazing host.

Highly recommend the property, Evelyn’s slice of paradise is just as described. I loved the panoramic views from almost every room except the bathrooms. The one thing I did notice which the owner can’t control; the upstairs neighbor watches tv quite loud and smokes cigarettes. So if you’re sensitive to smoke you wouldn’t be able to leave the lanai door or the bedroom windows open. There is everything you need in the unit. Boogie boards, wet suits, water shoes, snorkel equipment, chairs, umbrellas, straw hats, shopping bags. There are also things for kids - puzzles, toys. We brought our own gear and toys/books so we were all set, but it was nice to know that the unit was fully stocked. Love the attention to detail! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!!!

We had a great time in Kauai. The condo is in a prime location overlooking the ocean. The ocean breeze keeps the unit cool and the sound of the waves lulls us to sleep at night. The condo is in great shape and very clean.

This is one of the best ocean side rentals ever. The location is superb and the flat was furnished to make the stay easy and enjoyable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We could see the sunrise and sunset, punctuated by albatross fly by's and white tailed tropic birds. Would return in a heartbeat.

This was amazing... I have had rentals myself on Kauai and homes in the past and this was my first trip back in 12 years! Evelyn was a great hostess and the place was more beautiful than the photos even... We love it here and will come back to write again... A very creative space ... even had a rainbow the last evening.... thank you Evelyn

Property owner was exceptional. Condo had all the amenities one could think of and then more. The vista of ocean from windows and patio was panoramic! Watched numerious Humpback whales jumping within eye sight (binocs even better) every day. Thanks Evelyn for sharing!

We started and ended every day sitting out on the deck watching the waves and spotting the whales. In between those times, we enjoyed several beaches in the area and took a daily hike also in the area. It was a very low key week and exactly what we wanted and needed before heading back to real life. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise!!

Nothing fancy but has everything you need and the view is incredible! Even a rainy day is nice because you can sit and read or work on a puzzle and just watch the ocean waves roll in and...... then there are the rainbows! When you are out and about for the day it is a wonderful relaxing place to land at the end of the day. Lots of beaches, nice grocery store, shops and restaurants in Princeville and Hanalei. Truly a home away from home.

This property was wonderful! Evelyn has made it like home. Very comfy! Had everything we needed, including beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, pool noodles- everything you need for the beach. There is a game closet, but we were so busy staring out at the million dollar views that we didnt have time to play! We have been around the world and have never had a view like this! Sunrises and sunsets were amazing from the wraparound deck and from part way down the trail out front. We can't wait to come back and stay here!

We stayed a week and loved every minute. We arrived at night and Evelyn called the next morning to make sure we arrived ok. There was not a thing we needed. Everything is as described. The trade winds are so refreshing! No AC needed! Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. Princeville is a great location for exploring the North Coast. We would definitely stay again.

Incomparable views in a comfortable homey setting. It doesn't get much better than this. We spent 3 weeks in this lovely unit and loved every minute. It has a wonderfully equipped kitchen and bright bedrooms and baths. We spotted whales multiple times a day (in March) and even a pod of dolphins one day. We loved taking long walks around the area and took advantage of the pool and available barbecue grill. Communication with our host was excellent. We highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to enjoy the true beauty of Hawaii and hope to return in the future.

Ellen’s hale is a most relaxing respite from a day of Garden Island touring. The ocean view from every room is amazing. If you are fortunate enough to find this property vacant, take the leap. You will not be disappointed. We so appreciated spending our anniversary at Ellen’s immaculately maintained, resort furnished home. Mahalo!

We loved everything about this rental. The condo was immaculate with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We especially appreciated the beach gear: coolers, towels, chairs, umbrella, boards, snorkeling gear! Evelyn supplied the place with all sorts of extras: games, bookd (I really liked the coffee table book with photos/history of the island.). And the views from the main room and bedrooms was fantastic!.. Strongly recommend this rental!

This property is one of the best that we have rented through VRBO. The specific unit is right on the edge of the cliffs and affords amazing views of sunrise from anywhere in the condo or on the porch. I would rent this property again for sure. We were only two people so the space was much more than we needed (two beds two baths). Kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities, not always the case with VRBO rentals. Unity was super-clean and the beds were great. No hesitation on the 5 out of 5 star rating here.

Evelyn’s place was a great home for our 10 days on Kauai. We decided this property had absolutely the BEST views of any of our worldwide travels. Very nicely stocked kitchen and beach gear. Nothing like waking up in the middle of the night and looking out the bedroom window and seeing stars so bright and close you can pluck them from the heavens. We hope to stay here again!

This condo has everything you will need with an unbeatable view! The sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking and you can view them right from the porch. There is a beautiful beach within walking distance and many more just a short drive away. Lovely shops and restaurants in nearby towns as well. Evelyn has it all for you and the location can't be beat!

What a perfect place to spend a family vacation. The condo had everything we needed and more, (beach chairs, backpacks snorkeling fins, umbrellas and even some water shoes that fit. Great and easy communication with the host when we needed something simple like a new can opener. Don’t hesitate to book this slice of paradise which is only 10 steps from a trail down to a amazing private cove and lava tube. Thanks again.

As was the case a year ago, Evelyn’s condo located on the north shore cliffs in Princeville was once again a spectacular experience. Grandma and I were treating our youngest granddaughter to the Kauai adventure. In addition to the fabulous view from this first floor corner unit we had a direct sight of every mornings sunrise as well as the sunsets each evening. Anything that a person could possibly need is made available in the condo. We highly recommend this property. It books up more than a year in advance so plan well in advance.
