Syrah House is a very large 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath two-story contemporary home that comfortably sleeps 4 people. It is perfect for 2 couples or a small family. The bedrooms are located on different floors which creates a nice amount of privacy.

The first floor features living room, dining room, kitchen, powder room and master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom is 400 sq ft, has a California king bed and large flat screen tv. Cooks will love the spacious kitchen with plentiful counter space and preparation areas. Equipped with a Wolf gas range, double ovens, large sinks and a walk-in pantry, it has absolutely everything you need to prepare a wonderful meal.

Upstairs you will find the other bedroom that has a California king bed, private bathroom and a media/recreation room featuring a big-screen TV/DVD with two couches for comfortable viewing. A section of the upper floor has exercise equipment and a Foosball tabletop.

The backyard has a large hot tub, gas BBQ and 4 bikes

First of all communication was excellent making booking and check-in easy. We arrived at the gated property and could not be more pleased. The cottage was exceptionally clean and lovely. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed, including a coffee pot and coffee. The king size beds were very comfortable. The outdoor area with picnic/grilling area and hot tub was an added pleasure. We would definitely stay here again. It was conveniently located about 2.5 miles to charming downtown Sonoma. Definitely a 5+Star accomodation!!

Three of us were looking for a private place to stay while we explored Sonoma We found this Vrbo to have everything we needed and clean. Nice patio area with a Hot tub and a special bonus a fox! Only issue we had (which we never brought up to owners) was the showers alternated scalding hot or ice cold and def in need of a new shower head. Beds were comfortable and a great kitchen to cook in, which we did every morning and evening. A great stay!

The property was delightful. We enjoyed relaxing after a long day of touring. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the hot tub because of the heat (98degrees). Enjoyed dinner outside after the sunset. Comfortable beds, plenty of cookware. Would stay again.

We stayed 6 nights at the Syrah House over Memorial Day weekend. Traffic to and from BottleRock was terrible. The house is lovely although a bit dated. The beds were comfy.

Stay was great, attentive hosts, private spa and small yard area, good amount of space, great kitchen with exceptionally sharp knives. Home is beautiful and very well kept, private entry gate and round driveway areas with pond and made it feel more secluded, and certainly a beautiful, peaceful setting. Only constructive comments would be better towels (softer/higher quality, and definitely a bigger TV downstairs. Though the loft area was lovely and we spent a couple of evenings lounging and enjoying the relaxation. Rooms were lovely, bathrooms very well kept. LOVELY!!!

I highly recommend this place. Its a great combination of location, space, exclusivity and service. We felt at home right away. Had tons of fun playing foosball, boardgames but at the same time could just hit downtown for shopping , great food. Cheryl was super responsive to our questions and requests. We'd have stayed for longer if we could. But we will surely be back. V

The house was perfect for our trip to Sonoma! It had tons of room for the 4 of us. we loved the privacy and the hot tub in the back! The proximity to Sonoma square was perfect, and we spent most nights taking a quick drive to the square to enjoy the great food and wine. Check in and out process was super easy. Highly recommend.

Our stay was amazing! The home is actually much bigger than it appears in photos and it was cozy, clean and a nice home with great personal touches. We would definitely stay here again— also, the location was perfect. It’s a 10min drive to the Sonoma Plaza and nearby many wineries.

The property is very attractive and could use a coupe of tweaks. Overall, more detailed instructions would be helpful. The bed in the main bedroom is super high and challenging for those of us who are short or don't move as easily as we once did. The shower in the en suite could use a grab bar and/stool to make it safer and easier to use. Overall a comfortable, pretty place that I recommend highly.

Great stay. Only reason for a 4 outdated items in the pantry (someone could get sick if used) and no hand towels. Living room sofa cushions need to be replaced. Property clean and quiet, secure. Loved the location.

'Hidden gem' is correct.

This truly is a hidden gem property. It is well maintained with above average furnishings and decor. We loved driving the short road to this property, as it was shaded by beautiful oak trees and quite private. The gated entrance gave us an extra measure of security. The comfortable sofas gave us an extra measure of relaxation, along with the pergola and very nice outdoor seating. All in all there isn't anything we needed that wasn't already provided.

Amazing property; amazing hosts

We spent a long weekend in wine country in June 2021 (the weekend BEFORE masks came off) and thoroughly enjoyed Syrah House. The house was ready, clean and cool when we arrived with easy instructions texted to us the day of arrival. The house is a beautiful 2 story "farmhouse" with fantastic backyard outdoor space and a hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed (including coffee filters!) and the property hosts even left us a pint of strawberries when they visited the strawberry farm on Saturday! Sonoma is such an easy place to stay when your plans include both the Sonoma wine area AND Napa, so we could enjoy the great local restaurants without too much driving either day. Checking out was easy and everything was simply stress-free and beautiful. Simply a wonderful property.

I highly recommend Syrah house. It was clean, had comfortable beds and the kitchen contained every utensil and pot that we needed. It was perfect for my 3 generation girls weekend. I also found the hosts to be highly accommodating and gracious. When we had trouble with the BBQ, Valorie arrived in minutes and came up with a solution. Excellent service. We will be back!

This was a wonderful, quiet property - just the right size for our family as we were moving from the South Bay to Sonoma. Our sons loved the hot tub and the upstairs TV area. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Owners are super responsive too.

We loved staying in this home! We stayed with one other couple and the home was very spacious and comfortable. Mike and Valerie were very hospitable and accommodating. The home is located close by to the grocery stores and the square and it was an easy drive to get anywhere. The backyard was very cute and cozy. We’d love to come back here!

Thanksgiving family of four gathering. The place is open spaces and very comfortable. Hot tub and back yard is good space to relax. Kitchen excellent work spaces and two ovens, extra large gas stove makes cooking fun! Pots and pans are good too.

Clean, convenient, secure, secluded... Really enjoyed staying here, as opposed to a hotel for my work stay in Sonoma. Especially enjoyed spending time in the outdoor entertainment area. Beautiful, while also providing additional privacy. The hot tub was also a nice bonus for my weary bones.
