About this house rental
This 2-story lake home has a fun cabin feel, with plenty of living space for gathering and play. There are 180 degree views from living rooms on each floor, air conditioning, and 4 private bedrooms. Additionally, the downstairs living room offers a day bed with trundle, plus a futon for extra sleeping space.
Outside is a spacious deck with expansive lake views, seating, beautiful trees and a propane BBQ. A tram is available from the kitchen deck down to the beach as well as a walking path. There is a fire pit on the beach, plenty of seating, a dock with enough room for large boats as well as a swim ladder off the end of the dock.
In nearby Rockford Bay there is a marina with a restaurant (Shooters) and small general store for snacks. Downtown Coeur d'Alene is an easy 25 minute drive, or you cruise north on your boat to public docks in the heart of town.
Lake Coeur d' Alene is a deep water, clear lake with over 100 miles of shoreline, perfect for finding secluded bays to float, swim, ski, fish and explore. The lake is wonderful, but it's only one of many reason to come to Coeur d' Alene. Silverwood Theme Park is the northwest's largest theme park, only 15 minutes north of CDA. With over 70 rides, slides, shows and attractions, including four roller coasters, Boulder Beach Water Park, a steam engine train, live entertainment, restaurants, and more!
Things to note:
Free WiFi (streaming is limited due to the lakefront location). Patience is required to use the WiFi for work from home applications.
*This home has a tram that leads to the water/dock. The tram has a weight limit; if that limit is exceeded, there will be a $300 charge to the guest for the tram to be serviced. Absolutely no children under 18 years old are allowed on the tram without an adult present. The weight limit on the tram is 800 lbs. Thank you!
The dock is stored off site each year due to severe winter conditions in the bay. The dock is usually at the home site from mid-May till the third week of September.

Overall was a very nice stay.
Needs some sprucing up but overall served our purpose of enjoying the lake and surrounding area. Had to vacuum upon arriving and the top of the refrigerator was thick with dust. Needs a good deep cleaning. Beds were comfortable. Neighborhood was peaceful and was nice for walking. Trail to the lake and lake area grounds need maintenance and general cleanup. This didn’t stop us from enjoying the water but could definitely enhance the experience.
Host was great and provided quick responses.

Came with family to enjoy the week on the lake with each other, this home was perfect for all of our needs. We had elderly folks with us and the main room and tram made it possible for them to enjoy the days with us on the lake. The rooms were perfect and the deck was the best part. The amenities available were perfect as well. Parking was also very good for being so close to the lake. Will for sure look to see if available for our next trip.

This is a very comfortable home. Everything you need to cook in every night if you wish. The pictures do a good job of describing the home. There's a tram to the water which worked perfectly. Nice dock for mooring your boat and swimming from. It was easy to communicate with the owner. I'd highly recommend this place.

We came from Arizona to get out of the heat and the cabin and the view were everything that we could have asked for. Norm responded quickly to every question we had.

This home was a great spot for us to get together. It has unbeatable views and is just the right amount of distance from town to feel like a real getaway. The tram car down to the beach was convenient for us to have a fire and go paddle boarding. It was comfortable and cozy for our group of 8 adults. The downstairs can get a little chilly, but we adjusted for that. Very enjoyable stay! Thank you!

We stayed in this lovely home for a week in late September. Because it was end-of season it was very quiet, very peaceful.
We enjoyed the views (even in the rain), the deck with its gas fire pit was a special treat in the evening. The "tram" from the top of the hill to the private beach was really fun and I can only imagine how much fun the tram would be for our grandkids.
Roads to the property are paved with slow speed limits posted. It was not difficult to navitgate to Couer d'Alene for restaurants and brew pubs (try - Daft Badger Brewing, Post Falls Brewing Company and Moon Time).

Had a great time, owners were very nice. Place needs a thorough cleaning! It also needs to be better stocked with essentials like toilet paper. They only have one life vest we could find so make sure you bring enough for your whole family. Kayak and paddle board were nice to use. Dock was very nice.

We enjoyed a great week at this cabin with a beautiful view. The location is wonderful as far as distance from Spokane and proximity to a boat launch. The road there is great and was so nice to be able to unload our vehicles right by the door. Loved the big upper deck with plenty of chairs for enjoying the outdoors. The inside had plenty of seating and the kitchen/pantry was well stocked with dishes, spices, etc. It was great to have a second refrigerator. The tram was a quick ride to the beach. A few of us did tackle the steep path! The beach had numerous chairs and a table. It was nice to have the kayak and paddle board and a few floaties. The dock is newer and was plenty big for our 23’ pontoon boat. Was nice to have the ladder at the end of the dock. The owners were quick to respond to questions. Very nice property.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL house and property. Stunning views of the lake from the big windows and decks. Very spacious home with ample seating for all twelve of us, and a comfortable bed for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook big group meals. The property is private and quiet and we really loved the dock for swimming (the lake water is clean and warm)! We really enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this house for your lake vacation!

Very nice location and property with great views of the lake and surrounding landscape. Everyone enjoyed swimming from the dock in the crystal clear water. We rented a pontoon for several days and used the dock to tie up for several nights. The tram to the lake worked very well and was easy to access and use.
Great location, we would definitely consider renting again someday.

Spent a week here with my family and had a blast! We spent all day out on the dock and swimming in the lake. In the evenings, the view from the deck was a perfect spot for dinner and relaxing. I have nothing but positive things to say about our stay here!

This house is fantastic! A wonderful place for a family gathering. The deck was a great place to hang out and watch the lake and the eagles. All the beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. We appreciated the fire pit, grill, SUP, and kayak too. The tram was perfect for getting down to the beach with ease. We would book again.

The kids and I all gathered to see there sister graduate with her Masters from Idaho State. We stayed a few extra days as every one is spread all over the country and getting every one together at once is seldom. We had a great time on the lake and site seeing.

We stayed here for my daughter's graduation weekend, along with family from around the country. The home was lovely, and the view of the lake was stunning. We enjoyed watching eagles soar over the property. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for us to spread out in the house. Would love to stay during summer when we could take advantage of the beach area.

Stunning view of the lake nestled in the woods. Great place for a girlfriends weekend. Great outdoor deck to enjoy the lovely view with a BBQ and fire pit. My husband and our daughter and grandchildren and a family friend really enjoyed our stay, playing on the lake, walking in the beautiful neighborhood, and visiting Coeur d'Alene. The views from the windows and decks are incredible. The house is extremely comfortable and clean and attractive - and truly dog and kid friendly. Lisa and Norm are SUPER Superhosts, answering questions quickly - and going out of their way to help us out when we accidentally left a suitcase at the house. We are already looking forward to next summer!!

The property was beautiful and had plenty of room for us (4 couples and one child). The beach area was spacious with tons of beach chairs and a wonderful dock, and the tram down to the water was super helpful! The house was stocked with plenty of necessities like spices, pots & pans, tons of extra bedding and towels, toiletries, extra tables and chairs, and more! We couldn’t have loved it more, and already booked our stay for next summer too! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, and accommodating!

Great home. We loved having the dock so we could tie up the boat and use it whenever we chose to. Lake was so clean and clear, and water pleasantly warm. Main suite upstairs with 3 bedrooms downstairs was great setup for us. Overlooking decks were amazing for coffee in the AM and drinks in the PM. Very pleased overall and would recommend highly.

Excellent place right on the lake! It was such a perfect place for our family of seven (five kids ages 4-13), plus our dog! We had plenty of room in the house and the beach/dock held hours and hours of fun. The trolley going from the house to the beach was so convenient for all our kayaks, water play toys, for our tired kids (and for mom with snacks and lunches;))— there is a walking path down to the beach as well that the kids enjoyed “racing” those of us who chose to use the trolley. The house was very clean and had plenty of towels/bedding, the kitchen was well equipped, the fire pit on the deck was a huge bonus (perfect for s’mores —with a gorgeous view), the a/c was a lifesaver and works wonderfully, and the homeowners were very responsive. We had a fun summer storm come through one evening and the power to all the homes across the lake went out for a short time— it wasn’t a big deal for us— we were able to cook dinner on the BBQ, the house stayed very cool and we brought plenty of water. While visiting, we rented a ski boat from an outfit in Harrison who delivered the boat directly to the dock—we had so much fun playing on the lake.
We have already booked our stay for next summer and are eager to return (we will definitely be bringing the grandparents next year)! I highly recommend this home to all looking for a relaxing getaway.

Wonderful time spent with family. Lots of room to spread out. Great patio with views of lake. Everything was there for you, kitchen supplies, towels, extra pillows, gas grill for cooking yummy dinners. Tram worked great. Shade on the beach area with kayak & paddle board to use. Diving off the dock was great!!

This is a beautiful home in a lovely setting. The pictures on the VRBO site are a true reflection.
The home required some dusting, counter cleaning and shower cleaning when we arrived.
There was an issue with the clothes washer that was not resolved immediately as the owner's were out of town and did not have cell service.
Overall, we highly recommend this home.

When I first stepped into the house, the gorgeous view looking over lake was breathtaking. We opened the sliding door to let the evening breeze come in off the lake, sat down and we all relaxed instantly. The beach and dock are great for swimming and having a bonfire. The upper deck is lovely and perfect for sunset dinners. Truly some of the best lake days can be had at this place. Hope to come back some day soon.
