Rental was clean when we arrived. Had everything you would need for a week stay. Bed was comfortable, air was cold. The bikes was alittle weathered with the chains being rusted and one wasn’t working properly. Covered porch was nice in the morning for coffee - alittle on the hot side during the evening hours. The resort was clean and quiet . The pool was nice and watching the sunrise from the common areas was amazing.

We had a great time at this house on Cudjoe Key in the Venture Out neighborhood. We easily checked in at the gate. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing and safe. Getting into the house is a little awkward with the main entrance in the second bedroom but once we got everything on the house we just used the back door. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We used the bikes for a ride in the evenings around the neighborhood and it is right on a trail we could have done if we wanted something a little longer. We had a couple of rods and fished right in the backyard. We saw lots of fish but only caught a couple. Our teenagers enjoyed it. We loved having the kayaks but didn’t have time to use them. The master bedroom mattress was soo comfortable! The kitchen had plenty stocked in order for us to make a few meals. We only stayed a few days but would definitely come back and stay here again. Beautiful and relaxing sitting on the back porch watching the sun set and the kids fish.

We always enjoy staying at venture out. They have everything you need right on the premises. Janet’s house was perfect for myself and three kids. Right on the canal so the kids could fish and even had a manatee come right up to us. We will definitely be back.

We loved being able to sit out on the porch and watch the neighbors boats come in. It was the perfect spot for morning coffee. Everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly. The hosts were available and very easy to work with. We recommend it.

The owners communicated quick and made everything a breeze from the time we booked! All photos are accurate as shown. As mentioned in a previous review, the front entrance is right into the 2nd bedroom, but there is room in the closet for luggage to get that out of the way. Anything you can think of was available in the kitchen for cooking at home and on the grill. Only suggestion I have would be to stock a bit more "standard" items when there's familys booking: i.e. soap, shampoo, paper towels, laudry detergent/dryer sheets. We brought our own shampoo & soap, so no issue -that just seems to be standard in other VRBOs we've stayed in recently. The other items we purchased at the store on the resport. The back porch looking over the channel is relaxing and neighbors were all super friendly. The pool/beach/hot tub areas are clean and well kept. We took advantage of all of those. Cudjoe Key itself is perfectly located between Marathon and KW so there's plenty to do within a close drive. We'd definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property. We had a nice, relaxing stay. Check in was fast and easy. If you plan on cooking during your stay be sure to bring condiments. Reading the reviews before I came saved me from a second trip to the grocery store.

Stayed with my husband and our two young children (age 1 and 4). Perfect family vacation. The property has a kiddie pool and playground for kids. Back porch was nice to sit and drink coffee on in the morning. Cudjoe key is very laid back but close enough for a day trip to key west. We will come back!

Our stay was alright, the points that drew us to this property were a little disappointing. Kayaks , the straps on seats broken and not useable , bicycles appeared old and worn. The grill was filthy . Also the fact you have to enter and exit through a bedroom is a little inconvenient especially when it is being used.

My family and I stayed for the week over Christmas. The owners were wonderful!! Any questions we had they got back to us immediately. The house was immaculate and stocked with the essentials to get is started. Eventhough it was apparently the coldest the keys have been in years we still had fun. The heated pool and hot tub came in handy. We will definitely stay here again.
