About this villa rental

Our gite, part of an 18th century Provençal mas, has its own separate entrance and has been renovated to a high standard in the Provencal style. Recently awarded 4 stars by the Pays D'Apt Office de Tourisme, the accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms each with its own private bath/shower room. The large light and airy lounge/dining room with a fully equipped kitchen has high ceilings and exposed beams with stunning views of the perched villages of Bonnieux and Lacoste. The private heated pool and walled garden, complete with built in BBQ, and recently built summer kitchen, fully equipped with it's own fridge freezer, are for the exclusive use of our gite guests. In the nearby villages, experience typical Provençal cuisine in one of the many restaurants or visit one of the weekly markets for your local produce and return home to prepare lunch or dinner; the evening can be finished by relaxing with your favourite tipple in beautiful Provencal surroundings.

The double bedroom opens onto a roof terrace of approximately 6M2 with views over the vineyards and to the North, Mont Ventoux; perfect for that first cup of coffee or evening cocktail! The walled garden has exterior garden furniture for outdoor dining or relaxing. The south facing heated pool and terrace area is complete with sun loungers & table and chairs for the private use of the gite. There are a selection of outdoor games available. Bicycle hire is available in the village. We have private parking for guests within our grounds

The Luberon has everything one could wish for, be it relaxing in one of the most beautiful areas in France or taking up one of the many activities in the region, from cycling to kayaking, walking or tennis, there is something to suit everyone close by. If a leisurely stroll in antiques markets is your way, the famous town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue is a short drive away.

With 20 years of experience of running our holiday accommodation on the Cote D'Azur and now here in the Luberon, we have made La Marechale our home and are on hand to help with local information so you get the most from your holiday

Marseille Airport approximately 60 minutes, Nimes Airport approximately 90 minutes, Avignon Airport 25 minutes. The A7 autoroute is approximately 20 minutes from Bonnieux. The TGV train station is located in Avignon and is approximately 30 minutes away.

There is a combined CD, radio and iPhone player and a large selection of reading books and games suitable for all ages. A welcome pack of local delicacies will be provided for gite guests. Grocery pack can be provided on request for your arrival at extra charge . There is reversible air-conditioning throughout

Our property is uniquely positioned in the valley between the villages of Bonnieux and Lacoste. La Marechale is the ideal place to relax in beautiful Provençal surroundings. If you are house hunting in the area, we are linked to local estate agents and can accompany you on visits should you so wish.

We enjoyed the lovely house, centrally located in the valley of Apt. Nicely decorated, romantic garden and pleasant pool area. Host couple very helpful and friendly. All in all highly recommend - (But the Cafetiere - If any thing to note😊)

The gite delivers a perfect Provencal experience in the Luberon area. With pretty views to Bonnieux and dramatic vistas to the nearby Lacoste every window tells a story. Well equipped a fabulous pool, lush gardens, and a wonderful pair of hosts in Norman and Sue, we would happily return to relax, recuperate and revive. Recommend for anyone looking to disconnect from urban life.

A fantastic place to spend time in the Provence. The gite has lovely views all around and the outdoor spaces provide different places to sit and unwind. The exclusive use of the pool is a real treat and offers shade at all times of the day and is great to relax after the heat of the day. The outdoor kitchen is a real bonus! The gite is well placed to visit all that the Provence offers. Sue and Norman are great hosts and we will definitely try and return for another holiday. Just loved it!

Die Wohnung liegt im ersten Stock und ist großzügig, hell und gut eingerichtet. Man hat einen wunderbaren Blick auf Bonnieux und Lacoste. Garten und Pool hat man für sich alleine. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und diskret. Das gesamte Ambiente ist schön und liebevoll arrangiert. Leider führt direkt an Haus und Garten eine Straße vorbei, die während unseres Aufenthaltes Umleitungsstrecke und entsprechend stark befahren war. Wenn, wie der Vermieter sagt, die Straße normalerweise wenig befahren ist, kann man das Objekt sehr empfehlen.

We’re just back from a 2 week stay in this gorgeous gîte, and if you are thinking of booking it, don’t hesitate as you won’t be disappointed. The gîte itself is beautifully presented, sparkling clean and well equipped - the kitchen knives actually cut which we’ve found a rarity in self catering properties. In addition there is a summer kitchen, located in the shady garden area near the pool, perfect for storing food for the barbecue and cooling drinks. The pool is a decent size, and kept clean. Sue and Norman are perfect hosts, really helpful and friendly and they went out of their way to make the Big Birthday I celebrated there extra special.

Le gîte était à la fois très bien équipé et très agréable. Il convient parfaitement pour une famille de 4. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil de Norman et Sue le soir de notre arrivée. Ils ont su nous faire très rapidement oublier le très long trajet très embouteillé en ce 1er week-end d'août. Il y a énormément de choses à faire dans la région, 1 semaine ne nous a pas suffi. Nous aurons plaisir à revenir.

Un joli coin de verdure entretenu à merveille par les propriétaires voisins. La piscine est nettoyée tous les jours. Logement bien aménagé et suffisamment équipé. Logement à recommander pour une famille de quatre.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen von unseren Gastgebern Norman and Sue. Sie bieten Ihren Gästen einen wunderbaren Ort. Wohnung, Garten und Pool sind genau wie im Inserat beschrieben und es ist ein wunderbarer Ort für entspannte Ferien. Sei es einfach Relaxen am schönen Pool oder im Garten oder auch Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Die Wohnung hat eine tolle Lage. Besonders zu erwähnen ist, dass Garten und Pool eben exklusiv den Gästen der Wohnung zur Verfügung stehen. Das ist gerade in der Corona Zeit uns wichtig gewesen. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Urlaubswoche im Luberon. Wir haben im Luberon schon einige Unterkünfte im Laufe der Jahre kennengelernt. Diese ist mit Abstand die beste und wir freuen uns schon heute auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt. Dear Norman and Sue, many thanks for the great time we could spent at your lovely place. We hope to return soon!

Ce gite est très confortable. Il bénéficie d’une piscine privative et d’un petit jardin permettant de déjeuner à l’ombre. À proximité des villages de Bonnieux, Goult et Lacoste et du véloroute. Accueil charmant des propriétaires. Je recommande vivement.

Appartement très bien équipé, très fonctionnel (avec la clim pour les grosses chaleurs et un lecteur de DVD). Un coin de jardin à la végétation luxuriante, dommage que la route soit si près mais peu de voitures passent et le chant des cigales couvre bien le bruit permettant les siestes ! Les hôtes sont particulièrement charmants, à l'écoute et pleins de petites attentions. La piscine, enfin, est parfaite, à l'abri des regards, propre et il y a beaucoup d'ameublement autour. La localisation est très centrale pour visiter le Lubéron, dommage qu'il faille prendre la voiture pour aller acheter du pain.

Norman und Sue sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit in Ihrem bezaubernden Anwesen. Die Unterkunft ließ keine Wünsche offen und ist perfekt ausgestattet. Der Garten mit Pool ist ein richtiges Schmuckstück. Wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an wie zu Hause gefühlt.
