My family enjoyed 2 weeks in this 1740's house. It's very well equipped with games, comfortable furniture, kitchen stuff, and bedding. The bedrooms are charming. The 3 bedrooms upstairs are not for anyone with balance challenges due to their steepness and uneven floors, but hey are charming. Lots of room to spread out. My only note, would be to bring a fan for the kitchen, despite the windows and door, it tended to get very warm and the fan help to circulate the air better. Also, I suggest bringing extra beach towels. Lovely home!

Nice quiet antique country house - bathrooms might need an update soon - just the one shower in house.
A big dislike to the 9am check out - that is bit tough family on vacation.

Home was built in 1830 - very quaint and unique. We enjoyed our stay and the location. Dog friendly with fenced in rear yard. Very quiet. House could use some updates but overall worked well for our stay.

First of all, the house is amazing. What a cute little Cape Cod home that contains an enormous amount of space and bedrooms. We easily fit 8 people in the house very comfortably. The sunroom was our favorite place to gather!

The house was adorable, clean, and just what we expected. There was a hot water problem, but when I reached out they immediately came to fix it. Definitely would go back again.

The property was very interesting and we found it to be clean and well stocked. The upper floor was a bit difficult to navigate, but overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Summer vacation week was a success, great access to local beaches, short walks to bar, restaurant, coffee, general store. Short drive to Provincetown and Wellfleet.
We had a fantastic time hiking, beaching, eating and lazing about in the sunroom of this fantastic, updated, 18th century home. The kids loved the selection of board games and the dogs felt right at home with a fenced in yard. From the kitchen to the furniture, things were as well appointed as our own home, and didn't get the feeling of furnished for "the renters" as we have with some other properties. I would stay here again and would recommend highly.
Small criticisms that follows many homes this age; 1) the air conditioning was limited to the window units in the bedrooms. Would have been nice to have the living areas on central air. 2) The glass panels/doors in the sunroom were inoperable except one that led outside. This resulted in a sunroom that was a sauna until early evening. 3) not a single fan (ceiling fan in sunroom please) 4) rear patio could use an awning or umbrella 5) while the upstairs rooms were nice, I wouldn't recommend them to older adults on account of the period stairs.
Hate to leave the review on a critical note, as we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. It was particularly convenient with our dog because of the large fenced yard. Our daughters loved the house because it reminded them of their bic

Our group (7) had a great time and plenty of space in this charming house dating from ~1740. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc., there’s a big cabinet with loads of puzzles and games. The patio is great - shady in the morning and evening. Good laundry setup in kitchen. Hammock under a shady maple is excellent. Management were responsive to some minor issues and sorted them out quickly. Convenient location: shops, and a decent restaurant around the corner. Beaches nearby on either side of the cape. Short drive to P-town, Truro farmers market, restaurants, Wellfleet. The sunroom got hot in the afternoons, (it can be closed off from the rest of the house) but cooled overnight and we used it for breakfast each morning. The ship’s stairs are steep - but a senior member of our group (80+) made it up and down all week w no problems. Easy parking.

We loved the property; the home was spacious, clean, and charming. The kitchen was well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The yard was great for our dog. We really enjoyed the sunroom; it was a special spot in the house. We were close to a beach and markets and a close ride to Provincetown.
Our only feedback would be to have blinds on the downstairs bedroom windows as there is little privacy to outside and the sunroom. Also, a blind on the downstairs bathroom would provide privacy. Our weather was fine without any air conditioning downstairs but it must get quite hot in July and August. Some windows were unable to be opened; we understand it’s a home from 1740.
We had a wonderful stay and would rent again if blinds would be provided as described and an air conditioner downstairs.

We had a wonderful stay in Truro (August 2022) in this incredibly charming home. My mom loved the sunroom. We all loved the back patio - perfect for evening dining once the sun had cleared (it was a HOT week). The fenced yard was great for our dog. The location was perfect for our needs - close to hikes and beaches and restaurants (we love the outer Cape). As others have said, the kitchen is very well appointed (not that we did any cooking - see above mention of easily accessible restaurants); the beds were comfortable; and the Del Mar staff were helpfully communicative and quickly responsive. I would definitely recommend this house to friends.

Sadly a bit disapointing
The location was good and the property agent was helpful and responsive. The property was a bit run down and needed minor repairs. Which we feel should have been done before our stay. We found roaches in the kitchen on the 5th and 6th day of our stay which left us with an overall bad feeling. We decided to leave 1 day early.

Excellent stay
The property was as advertised, very well stocked kitchen. The only glitch we had was with locating the thermostat for the heater but we were able to resolve it
Very comfortable stay. Thank you

Excellent
We stayed at this charming residence for two nights 5/10/19- 5/12/19 .The area is convenient to many wonderful hikes IE the atlantic white cedar trail which begins at Marconi Station . It is also convenient to great restaurants at Provincetown . The kitchen is outstanding with all available tope end appliances Miele etc and counter space . It was a bit chilly this weekend temps in 40s at times and heat worked well , the sun room was comfortable when temp reached 60 degrees in middle of morning 10 am for breakfast .Beds were extremely comfortable and ample towels bedding etc were provided. I would say the only drawbacks are the stairs that access the three rooms at upper level are steep and narrow , and were a challenge for the Grandmas , hence the first floor room was prime real estate ! Having said this the house is 300 years old and the building codes were quite different then ! Plus while on the Cape we spent great deal of time outdoors .The last drawback was the 9am checkout time ,in order to leave everything in good shape ie all bedding removed and placed in bag all dishes washed and garbage taken out , how about a checkout at 11 am That would have been made it way more convenient .
