Additional Notes
We require a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter months (Oct-May). We don't believe it's a necessity for the summer months but do find it a good idea! Lucky for you, we offer all guests that book with us discounts for rentals in Bozeman!
This home is at a higher elevation of approx. 8500 ft.
Events of any size are not allowed when staying at this property in accordance with the neighborhood/HOA rules.
This home does not have air conditioning.
Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic "Montana A/C": open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day.
We are a local property management company. So if there is anything you need before, during, or after your trip, please let us know!
Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport
In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4 wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

We enjoyed our stay at this property and helped create a perfect summer family vacation. Communications with the property managers were excellent. Had two minor issues and they were quick to resolve both. The property is in the Beehive Basin with fantastic views of Lone Peak & the country.

This house is absolutely stunning in every way. Two Pines was very communicative and helpful.

Group of 12 men for annual ski trip (35 years).
Property is stunning and easily accommodated our large group but maintenance is not comparable. Kitchen was not well equipped. Road was not plowed and one vehicle had to be abandoned overnight. The road is quite difficult but passable if plowed. In Primary BR toilet seat broken. Rugs not laundered.
Twin Pines Realtors were very responsive and helpful.

Everything about our stay was top notch. We loved the property which was perfect for our large group. The views are incredible and property manager was so helpful. Highly recommend!

The view of Big Sky probably couldn’t get better.

The location couldn't be more majestic! Quiet, secluded with Incredible views! Awesome deck with a fire pit, picnic tables, and a hot tub! direct access to the Beehive Basin trailhead. The pictures online are a few years old and the home is slightly dated. also, the home could have been supplied better with things like sliver ware, wine glasses, paper towels, coffee filters etc.

location was at approximately 8500ft. The road up was a narrow, sometimes dirt road that i would not travel at night. The only drawback to the house was access to the property.

What an incredible piece of property. We had a wonderful time and the house was very spacious. The best part of the house is how large the deck is where we enjoyed a lot of laughs and sunsets. Would highly recommend!!

Perfect for a family get-together
Nice property for adults and children, private location with great views, plenty of room, great location. We took day trips to Yellowstone and also found great hiking nearby. Kitchen is well equipped, house was very clean, and property manager was quick to respond to questions. We would like to return in ski season. Definitely reccommend!

Picturesque Mountain Retreat
We had a wonderful time in this stunning chalet. Fit our large family perfectly. The location is a bit on the remote side which made it even more special, surrounded by beautiful forest, meadows and mountain tops.

Best Stay in All of Big Sky
Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Big Sky. Gorgeous home with phenomenal views of Lone Peak right out the window. Open living area with tall ceilings, wood burning stove, great kitchen, and plenty of sleeping area. Proximity to the resort is great with a 10-15 minute down a private drive. The drive can get a bit hairy with snow cover so be prepared with the right type of vehicle/driver. Had an absolute blast, would love to stay again.

A cozy, but magnificent cabin on the mountain
We loved this house! Absolutely perfect for a large family like ours (group of 9). Great fire pit, fun hot tub, amazing kitchen and common areas, and spacious bedrooms. Getting to it after a good snowfall can be tricky, but we’ll worth the trek. Just be sure to get a 4 wheel drive.

Off the beaten path
You cannot beat these views, access to hiking, and peaceful seclusion. The property management company for the property was fantastic and responded to every need we had over our week at the property.

Family Reunion
This property was great for 15 family members from ages 4-75. The views were gorgeous, and there was enough space for all of us to sleep, eat and play. The road to access the property might be challenging for some, but the location is worth it. Proximity to Beehive Basin Trail was a plus. They could use some new tableware and chair upholstery, but otherwise it was perfect!

INCREDIBLE ski house!
This was hands down the nicest ski house I have ever stayed in! The views, the cleanliness, the amenities this place had it all and best of all, at an affordable rate! The property manager made check-in a breeze and could not have been more accommodating leading up to and during our stay. Highly recommend this to all future guests - you will not be disappointed!

Had a guys ski trip with five of us, plenty of private sleeping rooms, awesome gathering spaces and a kitchen that allows you to cook before and after a day of skiing. Hot tub was perfect, view was amazing, if you’re looking for a real Montana mountain home experience, this one is for you!

Absolute amazing views
This property has absolutely amazing and fantastic views. It was such a relaxing week, sitting in the large decks and enjoying the sounds and views. The house is very spacious and well payed out. We may have a company sales retreat back here in September.

Does not disappoint
Came to Big Sky with some family and friends for a ski trip and This was an outstanding place to stay. It was remarkably convenient to the resort, yet felt very isolated while we were there, which was exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was a major high point, but we loved everything about the property. I truly hope we can stay here again in the future.

Breathtaking views and beautiful home!
This place was Perfect! Gorgeous views from everywhere! Convenient to slopes, town and snowmobiling! Well stocked with wood for fireplace and the hot tub was perfect after a cold day outside sledding or snowmobiling or skiing! Gated entrance to only a handful of homes. Very secluded homesites! You definitely need the 4-wheel drive to get there in winter! Loved, loved, loved it!

Perfect Vacation Spot
We had an amazing time at this house. It was large enough to fit 7 adults. The deck was absolutely perfect for having a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in front of the fire in the evening. We had gorgeous views of the mountains and were fortunate enough to see a small herd of elk, a moose, and multiple deer. The location couldn't be more perfect!

Unbelievable stay at this beautiful home. Proximal to the mountain while maintaining isolation.
This was a perfect stay while skiing at Big Sky with a large group. The house was incredible, and Beehive Basin is breathtaking. Lofts are more suited for children as opposed to adults, but there was plenty of room in the house. Highly recommended!
4.0
Beautiful property, but a little bit of a drive
I would recommend this stay, just know there is a drive up the mountain that can be tricky with a lot of snow. Otherwise the seclusion and the views are stunning. Spacious kitchen for cooking large dinners and it slept 17 of us comfortably.
I would like to brag on the property mangers Two Pines for being a tremendous help during part of our stay when the house (and rest of the Beehive Loop lost power for 20+ hours). The power company had to actually replace underground lines in the area in order to restore power. That being said, we were unable to finish our stay at the house and Two Pines took immediate action in relocating all 17 of us to a new cabin. We couldn’t be more grateful for a great property manger that is responsive, caring and quick to solve!
Despite the sudden move we had to do, we would definitely book this cabin again. And amazingly, we never ran out of hot water!!! But just a forewarning, only 2 people can shower at once or the water pressure is non existent.
I would love to see this place in the summer!

A SPECTACULAR SPOT!
Although the road to Beehive Basin was further than we expected, it was worth the drive up from Big Sky. Our favorite part of the house was the deck where we could sit, look across the valley to a meadow and look up to snow-capped Lone Peak. We loved to see who could spot the moose and calf across the valley or the herd of elk behind us - not to mention a bear or two.
The house was huge. Our children loved the downstairs area with all the bunk beads, their own tv room and the pool table.
The huge kitchen and great room with a long window seat was a wonderful gathering place, homey and inviting.
Our only disappointment was that the hot tub wasn't in a condition to be used. We were immediately compensated for our inability to use it.

Luxury home; gorgeous views!
Excellent management company providing complete details including recommendation for vehicle with snow tires and four wheel drive which was essential in the winter. Top notch amenities. Round dining room table seating 12 with lazy Susan. Huge kitchen with additional bar seating.

Beautiful place with fantastic views
The ski guys rate this home the best I have found for us in all 25 years of the annual trip. Very comfortable for 10 guys. Seating for all in the common areas and huge dinner table with a lazy susan. Excess bedding.
The realtor could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommended.

Private Retreat
The Beehive Basin Estate was a great place overall. If you are looking for awesome views and no neighbors, then this is the place for you. Lots of space for kids to play/sled in driveway and surrounding slopes. Alex and Wes were great at helping out right away with a couple issues. Great WiFi signal throughout the whole house. Huge kitchen which was great for cooking in the evenings instead of heading into town for dinners. Big two car garage was a huge bonus too.
