Loved the cabin, totally enough space for 12 people. Upon arrival very clean and well set up. Interior was gorgeous and had that mountain feel. My only complaint is that there was nothing to clean up with, no broom, no vacum cleaner, nothing. And, then the kitchen pots and pans were lacking. The large boiler pot had something burned in the bottom and was unusable, even after trying to scrape the burned substance out. Had to purchase a set of pots and pans to cook with.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. A few bumps along the way. Posted and advised that we would not be able to checkin until after 3pm. However, we let them know that we would arrive after 7pm to give them ample time to 8:09pm we got the code to checkin. Still fine since we had not gotten into the city. However, when we arrived, the dishes were dirty in the dishwasher and bowls in the cabinet dirty. Also we had 2 beds where the flat sheet was not on the bed but under the pillow. Just a slight tarnish to the beginning of our stay, but really a beautiful house!

Very spacious and nice cabin. The cabin did tend to be very dusty and a few pills were found in one of the beds of third floor room, but other than that the cabin was clean. Coffee isn't provided like at other resorts so be mindful of that, but they do supply a coffee pot and keurig. Maintenance do respond pretty quickly to any issues that arise during your stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, had tons of fun, played lots of games in the cabin as couples and would utilize the resort again.

Cabin was nice had a problem with hot tub not working maintenance came out said it was working fine but it never heated up they wanted to come back out at there convenient time poor management they didn’t seem to care about our time just there’s asked about a credit on our stay or a credit for future stay no response

Had a great stay at Misty Mountain cabin. Not far from town, to save on parking you can park at City hall and ride the blue trolley in to town. If you plan on Cades cove loop get an early start like 8:30 am or so. All the trips into the National park are a must. Looked like there are other nice cabins in Elk Springs Resort if you have smaller groups to. If in the area again we will stay in the same area with Elk Springs.

Beautiful and well maintained cabin

Home theater is built nice but had poor internet reception so cud not use much
Adequate number of beds/sofa beds . Couple Beds are however tall and may be difficult to get on to if you are petite. Access to top bed on the bunk bed is not good and was difficult to get on and off.
The google and waze GPS cudn’t find the property even with the right address. Apple maps did better. Entry code did not work the first time around. However the host is easily reachable by text and phone with prompt responses.
Can stay again if in area.

I’ve visited Gatlinburg 6 times in 20 years. This was hands-down the best place I’ve stayed. Mostly because of the location but everything about the house was great. The view was pretty from the house but we didn’t have to drive roads that scared me to death getting there. The beds were comfy, the game room was a lot of fun. I HIGHLY recommend this house.

The cabin was clean and spacious. However, the hot tub never worked. We called and reported this the first morning we were there and they sent someone out to look at it and he said that it needed a part and that the vendor would come out and replace it. The vendor came out said it was fixed and this was confirmed by Elk Springs by them calling me to let me know that it was fixed. We were in town when I got the call and checked it as soon as we returned to the cabin and it still would not heat up. It was late so we waited and called the next morning to report that it still was not working and they sent someone else out to look at it and it was determined that it could not be fixed. I reached out to Elk Springs to let them know that we were disappointed that we were never able to use the hot tub as this was something everyone was looking forward to and the only thing they said was we would get a 10% discount on our next stay because we would be a returning guest. Our party all felt as if they should have given us some money back due to the inconvenience of the service men coming in and out our entire stay and not having a functioning hot tub.

We were so pleased with Misty Mountain Lodge. Everything was extremely clean. The cabin was very spacious which allowed for great sleeping arrangements for our whole family. The hot tub was amazing and so was the game room. We can't wait to come back again. Beautiful property with staff that tend to your every need!

Overall the cabin was great but the hot tub heater wasn’t working. First repair call got is a video to follow. We did that but didn’t Help . We had a group of 12 people stay in this cabin over a weekend in October 2020. Pros: Overall the cabin is very beautiful and only 10-15 minutes from a grocery store which is convenient. The hosts were very responsive via text when we had issues and the technicians that they sent out to fix issues always came in a timely manner. It was helpful that the kitchen was stocked with dishes/pots/pans/utensils. It was also nice that in addition to the kitchen table, there are built-in benches in the kitchen with room for storage underneath. Cons: If you want quiet/privacy, this is not a good choice for you. This cabin is very close to a number of other cabins and we could hear people partying all hours of the day/night when we were outside on any of our decks. The biggest negative for me was how unclean some of the areas were in this cabin. More than 4 or 5 dishes were dirty when I removed them from the cabinet and I had to immediately wash them (they were sticky, wet, and had food residue in them). There were also so many (huge) spider webs all over the corners of the doors and light fixtures on the deck that we had to clean off. When we arrived to our cabin, we opened up the mini fridge and water spilled out everywhere. It had not received maintenance in quite some time (the technician agreed with us) and it was frozen over but some of it had melted which caused a mess. We had to use towels to clean it up but since there are not extra towels provided, we had to call for a technician to bring us more towels to replace the ones we used since using the towels was out of our control. The poker table and many other common area tables were also dirty (with food debris and dust) so we had to clean those off before use as well. Parking is also not great - you can really only fit 5 cars comfortably in the parallel position, so I probably wouldn't plan to bring more cars than that.

Was not able to utilize an entire bedroom because the lady bugs were so aggressive. The point of getting this cabin was because it had the right amount of bedrooms. The lady bugs were on top of the bed with us while we were sleeping, in the luggage, in the tub, sinks, and flying around all the lights. My bedroom also had stained sheets. The directions was not clear and when we called the night operator she had a nasty attitude. Was not helping us when we were asking questions on how to get to the cabin. Besides the bedsheets and lady bug issue the cab was nice. They sent sheets to be replaced and a guy came to spray for the lady bugs. I believe the spray will help the next guest but it did not accommodate us for our stay.
