The Liechti Lake House is set on beautiful Lake Norfork, the hidden gem of the Ozarks! Whether you’re looking for a secluded place to get away and relax, or to explore the natural wonders of Arkansas, The newly renovated Liechti Lake House has it all! Everything in this house is brand new and has been specifically designed for luxury, relaxation, and making memories .
One of the many highlights of any trip to The Liechti Lake house is getting out on the beautiful clean, clear water. Lake Norfork covers 22,000 acres and is extremely clear due to the rocky shoreline highlighted by limestone bluffs. In fact, previous visitors say it is one of the clearest lakes they have ever seen! Families enjoy all types of exciting water-sports, scuba diving, fishing, hiking, biking, climbing, and antiquing. There's something for everyone!
The reason why Lake Norfork is one of the most exclusive lakes in the region is because of the strict guidelines restricting any development around the lake. Do to these restrictions, (also applying to boat docks) We do not have direct water access from the house. Fortunately, there are many full service marinas 10-20 minutes away which offer a variety of boats for rent, along with gas, supplies etc. The marinas are impeccably maintained and have slopes for wheelchair access etc. If you have your own boat and trailer, The Liechti Lake house offers ample boat and trailer parking. Pigeon Creek (less than 2 miles from the house) offers a boat launch and several swim beach areas. Pigeon Creek is also a great place to go hiking, have a family picnic, etc...
The Liechti House has been decked out with premium features which include; two master suites with private baths, two junior suites, a game/bunk room, a 16'x40' pool, and an 8 person hot-tub.
All of our suites have full closets, so you unpack, relax, and feel right at home. A fully Stocked kitchen with brand new appliances and separate pantry for extra storage. Adjacent to the kitchen is an open concept dining/living area.
There's plenty to enjoy on the 2000 sq. ft. deck. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise overlooking the lake. After a long day of Swimming and playing on the lake or in the pool, there's nothing like making some drinks and soaking in the hot-tub. This spacious deck includes outside dining and seating. It's the perfect place to share a meal with your whole group. You may access the deck through both master suites, kitchen, living area, and downstairs basement. Enjoy each others company around the fire pit with rock seating; located by the back deck.
Master suite #1 (sleeps 2-4)
This one has it all, from a 36 jet Jacuzzi tub, with scented aromas, to a huge walk in shower with a 20 inch rain down shower head. With private access to the deck over looking the lake, morning coffee time is a must! Thus suite is also equipped with a 40 inch smart tv and Direct tv. This suite offers a king size bed and sleeper sofa.
Master suite #2 (sleeps 2) King bed:
This suite also has private access to the deck and has the closest access to the hot-tub and pool. Private bath with walk in shower and 16" Rain down shower head. There is a 40 inch smart tv with Direct tv.
Junior suite #1 (sleeps 2-4):
Perfect for those who don't mind sharing or families with small children.

Hall bath:This bath was meant to be shared but built for privacy. A separated walk in shower with a 16 inch rain down shower head, restroom, and vanity.

This is a great open area. There is a 70 inch smart tv with Direct tv. Large sleeper sectional.
Laundry room: Brand new washer and dryer, the laundry room sits adjacent to living/dinning area. Plenty of room to wash, dry, and fold.
16'x40' Heated Pool: you wont want to leave the house! this the perfect spot to hang out, grill, swim and enjoy each others company. Located at the rear of the house.
8 person hot-tub: located on the back deck.
Basement/Game room (sleeps 2-7)
This room is great for entertaining. Whether you're taking a break from the sun, hiding from the rain, or wanting to watch the big game, grab a drink and head downstairs. There is a large 70 inch smart tv with Direct tv, various cards and board games. There is also a fridge so you don't have to back and forth upstairs. We have recently added a pool table, dart board, and foosball table. This area has a twin over queen bunk bed, a sleeper sofa, and sleeper sectional. Will sleep 7.
Ready to explore the Mountain Home and surrounding areas? The Liechti Lake House sits just 10 minutes from restaurants and shopping. If the river is calling your name the Buffalo National River and White River are just a 25 minute drive away. How about a day trip to Branson or Silver Dollar City? They're just an hr and half away.

This was a wonderful VRBO. The home was so clean! The cleanest home we stayed in by far! Wonderful amenities and easy communication with the owner Doug.
The pool and hot tub were fantastic, and used often. The ease of Pigeon Creek to launch our waverunners was so close to the home. Wonderful family trip! I'd definitely recommend this VRBO:)

Clean, everything in working order, top notch in every way! We have three generations under one roof and everyone had space to enjoy in or out. The boys hung in the downstairs game room when they weren’t in the pool. The teen girls loved the pool. Adults hung in the hot tub. And Doug our host is Simply the Best!

We had a work retreat with about 14 people. The kids loved the game room downstairs. Lots of room and the pool was absolutely AMAZING!!! The hot tub was delightful!

I brought 10 teenagers to this home and they had an absolute blast! The heated pool, hot tub, patio and backyard area was perfect for everyone to hang out, listen to music and have the best time! They also had plenty of room to all eat together at the large table in the dining room and on the island. The basement was great for them as well!
The only thing to note, is there is not a bathroom in the basement, so anyone planning on staying up there will need to use upstairs bathrooms. However, the bathrooms are extremely spacious and worked out great!!! They had 3 bathrooms upstairs, so we just divided them up! :)
The house was very clean and well maintained!
The owner was extremely responsive, very honest and kind and I would absolutely book through them again!
Walmart was only 10 minutes away which was great so that we could load up on groceries to save money instead of eating out!
They did have the kitchen stocked with everything necessary such a paper towels, tableware, trash bags, etc!

Such an amazing place! The beds are all so comfy and the bedding and pillows are so nice !! The back yard was very huge, not fenced and there was a small pup or terrier up the hill that kept coming down into yard which concerned me since we have our dog with us.
The game room was a neat bonus!!
Lake access was not far away, we took the real bumpy road down to edge by turning right off the road the house is on. Would recommend this as a stay for anyone who likes a nice clean pretty place with all the things and then some.
A few notes: owner was very helpful in suggesting things to do around town and with figuring out how to get hot tub working right so if you have a question about something ask him and ur trip will go way smoother.
One thing I would request is to get some dimmer light bulb options, it seems all the fixtures had 100 + watt light bulbs and it was too bright.
We went in winter so I can’t vouch for the pool but it looked real nice. Has a nice safety cover on it when not in use.

Our family had a wonderful time! The pool and hot tub were perfect to entertain all family members. The house is beautiful and the host provides all the towels, chairs, and other needed amenities. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are extremely comfortable. Doug Liechti is a marvelous host and responded quickly to all inquiries. We highly recommend this home and we will return!

Big house & big pool, all the amenities of home & more. We would have liked cable tv, but the smart tv's in every bedroom has a lot of options. Quiet neighborhood. Not a big variety of things to do in surrounding areas, but lots of things to do at the house to keep busy. Just under 2 hours from Branson.

The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and more. We cooked Christmas dinner for 17 people. We enjoyed the hot tub during a winter blast -20 below . I would highly recommend the Liechti lake home and hope to go back.

From beginning to end our experience with The Liechti Lake House was top notch! They truly pulled out all the stops, and made our stay exceptional! The house was gorgeous! We thought the hot tub smelled funny, and Doug promptly came over to take a look, fixed the issue, and then left, only to come back with a pack of local beer, champagne, and snacks. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed plus some, the pool and hot tub were awesome, and the basement activities kept all of our kids (ages 7-17) occupied while all the adults hung out upstairs. I cannot say enough great things about this place. We hope to make even more memories here for many years to come. Thank you so much for everything! We can't wait to do it again next year!

Great Getaway!!!
We loved our stay at Doug’s Lake house! Was the perfect getaway for our family - lots of relaxation and hanging out at the pool and hot tub. We took a day trip to Branson one day and it wasn’t too far. Even though the weather wasn’t super hot, the pool was heated just enough to feel perfect. One day was rainy so we took advantage of all the board games, pool table, and foosball table. Everything in the house seems completely redone over the past couple of years - everything was as good or better than the photos, and Doug has not left any detail out in making the whole place awesome! Before we had even left we were already talking about wanting to return to the house in the future with friends. Thanks for making our vacation a blast Doug!

The Vacation house was just as we had hoped it to be. Very clean. Nicely decorated. Wonderful kitchen. Great spot for meals preparation. Conversations and watching TV. The deck surrounded almost the entire home. Beautiful pool which was great for exercise.

This house was perfect for our mini-vacation! Three families fit very comfortably and we all had a blast. The hot tub was used quite often and had plenty of room. The pool was open but not quite warm enough but the kids didn’t seem to mind! Lots of comfortable seating on the patio and along the wrap around porch. All of the rooms had large, beautiful bathrooms attached, the big tub in one bathroom was perfect again for the kids. The kitchen/dining area was great for being able to cook while hanging out. The finished basement was perfect for the kids to play and do their own thing. We definitely want to come back during the summer! Loved this house and all of the amenities that came with it.

This house was everything we could ask for and more. We do annual girls trip all around the area and this was hands down our favorite house. The hot tub fit all 7 of us with space for more! The house was stocked with everything you could need. The house is warm and relaxing. Seriously perfect!

Pool was big and beautiful, and while a bit cold (it was early November), the kids used it regularly and some of the adults got in here and there. The hot tub was perfect! The rest of the outside area was great as well. Super comfy furniture around the pool, a gas firepit, a wood firepit, a large patio around the pool, and a HUGE wraparound deck.
The inside was just as impressive. A very big kitchen with tons of counter space and a pantry, two fridges (one in the basement), very well stocked as far as pots and pans and utensils and anything you need for cooking. There was a huge table that fit our entire group (and more!), and it was great to have the entire living space open. Bedrooms were great, and having the bunk beds downstairs gave us a great area for the kids to hang out and sleep in, making it a fifth bedroom.
Communication was great as well. All in all, a wonderful property! We'll be back!
