About this apartment rental
Beautifully condo with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths located in the center of the family oriented, safe and scenic shore town of Stone Harbor. It is a perfect getaway to melt the stress of life away.
The location is perfect. The beach is only 3 blocks away. When you come back from the beach you can lounge on the deck located right over the bay, soak in the hot tub, or take a swim in the pool/bay right in front of you. For breakfast and dinner, you are located within a 100 yard walk of well known longstanding Stone Harbor establishments: Uncle Bill's Pancake House and Fred's are across the street; The Reeds, Island Water Sports, Ristorante Luciano, Quahog's Seafood Shack, Coffee Talk, and Springers are around the corner. There are three mini golf courses and an arcade up the street to keep your kids occupied and tons of shops.
The place is not only a great location, but is recently renovated with wood/tile floors, cable hdtv, wifi, and a large bay window facing the south to see sunrise and sunset and a view that will stop you in your tracks. Sleeps up 8 comfortably and up to 10 with the sofa bed. How could you pass up this opportunity?
- Saturday is the turnover day from mid June to Labor Day.
- Can make deals on the extra couple days for Memorial Day or Labor Day weeks to stay through the holiday (such as Saturday to Monday vs. only Saturday to Saturday for Labor Day weekend)
- Greater of $200 or 20% of Rent to reserve; 50% 2 months prior; 100% plus security deposit 1 month prior
- Refundable security deposit is greater of $250 or 20% of Rent (I've been limiting this to $350 lately)
- Rates for the following calendar year do not usually get updated until September or October in the current calendar year (the end of the current main season). If the quoted price for the following calendar year seems low (especially compared to historic prices), then ask or we will let you know after the inquiry. For instance, if it quotes a July 2019 week as $800/week (especially seeing the 2018 rate being almost 4x), it's because the 2019 rates aren't up yet. Just ask and the rate will usually be near to the historic rate.
VRBO changed its rates system so here are the 2019 weekly rates to compare more easily (these are caps if less days are taken as VRBO will say a much higher rate otherwise - email if you have questions).

We had a great time. We would rent the condo again in a heartbeat. Thanks.

Windows clean and showed beautiful view of bay as you entered. I brought my cleaning supplies, but unit was well stocked and clean upon arrival!!! Host was very nice.

We enjoyed our week in Stone Harbor. Condo was nice. Jeff was very helpful!

This unit is very run down. There were water damaged ceiling tiles in the primary bathroom and the shower was so small. Overall, we cleaned when we arrived and cleaned again when we left. It was not what I hoped to do on vacation. I think the owner should consider having a cleaning team in between rentals. Pass the cost along to those renting because a couple hundred dollars on top of what we paid would be welcome instead of needing to clean upon arrival. Lesson learned here, I won’t rent again from this owner. While he was responsive to the ceiling tile issue, it was not resolved during our stay except to remove the damaged tile.

Not very accommodating, had to bring our own bathroom towels bed sheets an toiletries.
The ceiling is wet in the master bedroom and looks like other celing tiles are caving in or falling apart. Needs to be kept up better

Had a great time at this property! It was the perfect location to all the shops and restaurants! And the best … it is right on the water!

Great Location, convenient to everything!! Nice condo overlooking 96th street Bayside views near the Reeds.
Owner was easily accessible when we lost power due to high winds, he contacted the appropriate supplier and was turned back on promptly. Very nice to work with.

Owner expects each renter to leave the condo in acceptable conditions for the next renter. There is NO cleaning service that turns the unit over or inspects the condition between renters.
After traveling for 10 hours, hunting down the owner for access, we walked into a filthy outdated condo in a premier location. For the first 1.5 hours of our stay- we cleaned toilets, showers, washed blankets, pillows, mopped and vacuumed. Upon conversation with the owner- he explained that he has not been to the unit in a while and whomever stayed prior was responsible for the cleanliness.
The owner was flippant in conversation as I communicated with him what was going on. He was aware of the filthy old sofa and said he just hadn't had the time to get a new one ordered. He had excuses for the broken furniture in the closets, along with open bags of potting soil in the place we were to put our belongings. There was black mold in the A/C units... I could go on and on.
In all my years of VRBO- I have NEVER stayed in such conditions.

Excellent location, with a wonderful view of Shelter Haven bay and beyond. Just an easy three blocks to the to the beach, in the midst of all the best restaurants and shopping. We parked the car in the assigned spot under the building, and never moved it until it was time to go home. Everything is within easy walking distance.

This condo is perfect for a weekend getaway. I went for a long weekend and it was the perfect spot for me. Right in the heart of town with gorgeous bay views and just a couple blocks from the beach. I definitely would recommend this property for couples or a solo trip!

Our family had a wonderful stay in this Stone Harbor condo. This property had so much to offer. It was the perfect place to keep everyone happy, spanning from our three teens to my elderly mom. Having the elevator and the entire condo on one floor really made it enjoyable for my mom. It was clean and had everything in it to make it feel like home. The balcony on the bay was our favorite part. We truly enjoyed watching the daily activities on the bay as well as the beautiful sunsets. It was so close to town that it was great for all ages to enjoy the shops and restaurants. There was a great place to rent paddle boards right across the street (Harbor Outfitters) and we could launch them right from the property. The pool, hot tub, pool deck and bay swims were nice features to have in addition to Stone Harbors beautiful beaches. We would recommend this condo to families of all ages. Great place to make Stone Harbor memories.

We didn’t have to drive anywhere. You can walk to breakfast, lunch, dinner, beach and shopping. The condo is a nice size, layout and quite. We will definitely stay again.

We stayed here for a family wedding at the Reeds. This location was perfect! I have two young girls and I was able to go back and forth easily, if necessary, to check on kids and babysitter. As a young family, we also appreciated the amenities (pool, building security, and view--my 2 year old loved waving to the boats!)It was also convenient to all local shops, playgrounds, and the beach. For the more adventurous, they rent paddle boards and kayaks on Shelter Haven and this condo is located right on the docks.
