The cabin is as advertised. Very easy to communicate with host. If you are looking for a secluded cabin near Jasper/Buffalo River… this is a great option.

The name of the house is “Cabin in the Woods” and that is very fitting! It’s exactly the way it appears in the pictures. It’s a little difficult to find. Having the coordinates for the exact location would have made it a lot easier to find. However, the house was perfect and made for a great family weekend.

The house was nestled in the mountainside with spectacular views from the porch. We were able to go into town and visit the quaint little town of Jasper. We also were able to float the Buffalo River and watch the Passion Play one evening. The trip was a great success and the house was truly awesome.

This cabin has absolutely everything! Beautiful view and the cabin is precious with little details and homey qualities!

Our stay was perfect! The view in the morning and evening from the deck can’t be beat. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. Absolutely wonderful time!

My family and I enjoyed the cabin so much! It is the most comfortable cabin we’ve ever stayed in and we get a different cabin every year for our family vacation. I wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up staying here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful. It was a great location to so many wonderful hikes. The town of Jasper was so cute.We would defiantly return.

The checking process was easy. The hosts were very very thorough and provided a lot of great information about the area. There was a great book on the cabin as well. The cabin is bigger than you might think. The views are incredible. The location is remote but close to town. The hosts are great to deal with. I would highly recommend you stay here.

The cabin was just as it was stated - roomy enough for 4 people to relax. Plenty of pots/pans to make our meals, and they do have a Keurig for coffee. Gas logs put out plenty of heat to maintain a cozy atmosphere.
The weather turned bitterly cold while we were there, so we cut our stay short so not to get snowed or iced in.
We will definitely keep this cabin in mind for another trip.

Very quiet, centrally located to activities, spacious, everything we needed was there. Would do again.

My aunt, mom, two cousins, and I stayed the weekend. Everything was decorated for Christmas, and it was stunning. There was plenty of room and the cabin was gorgeous. We loved it so much we only left for dinner! We will be back as there is plenty of room for a group. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. Loved every bit of it!

Beautiful place to go unplug and get away from everyday life, it gave my wife and I a chance to spend some quality time together and make new memories.

Great communication with host. Cabin had everything you needed to cook with, nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Very close to Jasper if you want to eat out. It was mostly cloudy during our stay, but our last morning there we witnessed the most beautiful sunrise through the huge windows. I highly recommend this cabin. We loved it.

We loved our stay!

My family seemed to enjoy their stay. I personally prefer a hotel with breakfast provided and other amenities. I fell hiking a nearby trail and suffered cracked ribs, then fell getting out of the "tall bed" so my stay was less than enjoyable.

Quiet and very woodsy. Beautiful views. Close to everything.

A big thank you to our hostess, Pam and her hubby, for welcoming us with open arms and hearts! We wish we would have had more time to explore the hiking trails around Jasper. With plans of seeing a herd of elk in the Lost Valley at 7:00 am, Saturday morning, putting a crimp in our sleeping patterns, we followed Pam’s suggestion of seeing them at dusk. What luck to see a bull elk bugling for his ladies, and there were many, while the other five bull elks grazed in the next field. While in Ponca, try the deli sandwiches, visit the Elk Education Center across the street (the kids center was well thought out); go to the Ozarks Cafe in Jasper, and tour AR 7. I just wished I had a motorcycle. Thanks again, Pam, for a gorgeous cabin (a home really) just 2.5 miles from downtown. Janie and I wish we had had kids with us—the scavenger hunt sounded like so much fun—we nearly did it.

We had a great time in the cabin. Very beautiful and private cabin with close river access and a grocery store not far.

This property is perfect for a family get away. House was so comfortable, well equipped, and adorably decorated. Lots of space for group of five and two small dogs. I would encourage anyone who is considering a trip to AR to look no further than this well maintained fully stocked house. Only caution I have is about the time of year you go to Arkansas. Better to go early in the spring if you plan to spend time hiking to the waterfalls. By July there is no water! Still nice hikes, but a bit disappointing that they are dry.
This house gets my highest marks and dealing with Pam was so easy! Five stars all the way!

The cabin is isolated enough to enjoy nature, yet close to grocery store and restaurants. It is also convenient for floating and hiking the area.
The view from the back deck is awesome!!
We would love to visit again.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. Even the beds were comfortable!! Plenty of towels, toilet paper, etc for our stay. Beautiful area and easy to get to. Pretty view. Kayaking, zip lining, mountain biking, hiking are all nearby. Branson is only one hour away. Jasper Pizza was really good. There is a local grocery store and dollar general. Pam was a great hostess and we would definitely stay again!

Beautiful large cabin. Very clean and well stock with anything you would need. Very private and a very peaceful view. My sisters and I go float the Buffalo each year and we all like to have our own bathroom, so if you are needing a 3 bedroom 3 bath this cabin is for you! We can’t wait to go back❤️

Stayed here for a week and used the cabin as a base for our motorcycle group. Comfortable, convenient, and a slice of heaven. The owners, Pam, was a great host and one we would recommend highly. We would gladly return to this cabin if given the opportunity.

We really enjoyed Jasper & the surrounding area. Had a great time exploring the many hiking opportunities. The cabin was just perfect for us. Everything we needed was provided. The jacuzzi was a welcome addition for relaxing after long hikes.

We came to Jasper to do some hiking with out adult son. The home was very nice. We enjoyed the porch one day as it was warm and sunny. The next day we were able to enjoy the fireplace as it was cold and rainy for part of the day. The cabin is located close to many hiking trails that we were interested in so the trip was just perfect. We would stay again since there were many trails we still would like to do.

The cabin was gorgeous! I loved all the open space. Because there was 6 of us there the basement was perfect for the girls. We all got our own beds and bathrooms. Plenty of space for us to have our own private areas. There were lots of things for us to do. We went on hikes in the woods. It was in the perfect location. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was absolutely fabulous! The perfect combination of rustic charm with all the modern amenities. (Mom loved the huge jacuzzi tub upstairs!) From the moment we opened the door, the fresh smell of the gorgeous red cedar walls welcomed us to a spacious main level with high ceilings, a stone fireplace, and spectacular deck and view. We knew immediately that this cabin exceeded our expectations. The setting was secluded and quiet, yet within minutes of Jasper and so many hiking adventures and fun things to do. The online photos don't do the cabin or the view justice. The owners obviously poured a lot of time and love into every detail of this cabin. If we didn't live 10 hours away, I would try to purchase it from them! I can't recommend this rental, or the owners, highly enough. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

It was just as beautiful if not more than pictures relayed. One of the best hostesses we have dealt with. Very personable and provided more of the small toiletries, spices etc than any VRBO we have stayed at

This trip was a little getaway for my family. It was a great place to checkout and get away from the world. We enjoyed the view all day and the peacefulness of nature. Would love to book here again.

Our stay was excellent. The cabin itself is very clean and comfortable, and I was very pleasantly surprised by how well-stocked it was with essentials, and also how roomy it was. The workmanship of the cabin is top notch.
We celebrated my husband's retirement, enjoying coffee on the deck watching the sunrise each morning, and watching the fog lift over the valleys. We were relaxed and rejuvenated by the entire stay.
There are lovely hiking areas (4 wheel-drive is a must for some).
Our favorite hike was the Lost Valley Hike. The facility is very well kempt with nice wide pathways and good restrooms. The hike begins very easy and well-paved, and as the route continues toward the water falls, the hike becomes increasingly more challenging. We hiked all the way to the falls - how beautiful and refreshing! The entire hike took around 2 to 2 1/2 hours; You have many options to shorten the hike according to your desired difficulty range.
Although the cabin's information book provides info on the trails, I would suggest going online for GPS coordinates, and driving directions. Several of the areas are not marked well, and we got turned around several times.
Overall, I believe we made an excellent choice for our celebration. We loved every moment.

Our family of four "skipped" Christmas this year and stayed at the Little Cabin in the Woods. We loved every bit of it! The house stayed warm in the extreme temps, we were close enough to town to make a quick grocery run, and felt like we were secluded enough to really feel AWAY. All of us took turns taking a relaxing bath in the HUGE jacuzzi tub. The kitchen has everything you could want. Just a perfect place. Have no fears booking this rental!
