The hotel and restaurant were great. It is only a short walk from Las Pozas. The staff was very courteous.

Nice stay in Xilitla. Walking distance from James Edward garden.

Great location and a great atmosphere. The staff at the hotel and the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. If you are doing the Edward James garden, you can walk there from the hotel.
There are quite a few stairs, so be prepared for that.

It's clean & lovely, located in a beautiful, exotic, private location, within walking distance of Las Pozas. Excellent on-sight restaurant. Very friendly staff. Lovely rooms. Connections to solo trips to El Sótano del Las Golandrinas and the breathtaking Cascadas de Tamul. The nearby town of Xilitla has charm and deserves its classification as un pueblo mágico. A great value for the price!
Can't think of a thing.

My fiancé and I visited this property for two nights and absolutely loved it. Our room was beautiful and had a big balcony overlooking the jungle. Our hosts were so nice and accommodating and everything at the on-site restaurant was delicious (especially the fresh tortillas).
The location is in walking distance of the sculpture garden, other restaurants, waterfalls and anything else you may need!
We came during the month where there are plant hoppers everywhere, so did not use the pool. Coming from the United States, it was a very cool experience to see them though.

The property was beautiful with a very home-like atmosphere.
nothing- I rate it a 10/10! I will be returning in the future!!

The location is amazing, 5-minutes walking away from Edward James's surreal garden; the food is delicious and the price totally worth it; the amenities such as the parking, the beatuiful restaurant and the pool, plus the spacious bedrooms, will make your stay one of a kind when you visit Xilitla.
The road to arrive is not the best for small cars but it is expected considering the location of the property.

great balcony, lovely staff, close to las Pizas
bathrooms very stinky, no water after flushing toilet, crummy linens, uncomfortable bed. lots of stairs to room.

Big comfy room close to the surrealist garden but too far from town to walk.
Far from town and no tv in our room

Great food in the hotel restaurant, nice and quiet location close to the James Edwards Garden and fantastic views from the hotel room balcony.

Close to Las Pozas
Staffs doesn't speak any English.
4.5
The location was super convenient: a 6 minute walk to Las Pozas, and a quick drive into town. Quiet but for rainforest sounds and the burble of the river in the valley below. The food at the restaurant was delicious: hyper-local and home-style. Staff was delightful but not overbearing. Grounds were magical terraces full of tropical plants and flowers, birds and amazing insects. Our room (Vista Bonita) was huge with two private balconies and amazing rainforest views. Pool was clean and cold (because December). Would stay again in a heartbeat!!
Bathroom smelled a bit of mold (likely inevitable given the high humidity) and the floor tiles were dangerously slippery when wet.
4.5
Great hotel, feeling really like you are in the nature and the beds are awesome! Super soft beds compared to all other locations! Staff is super friendly but try to learn some Spanish
Nothing, it’s awesome, even private parking, only food could have been better

The location is absolutely gorgeous, checkin was very easy and the property was pretty easy to find. The people were great, the restaurant was convenient and open-air, which was a treat and the food was great. We were able to easily walk to the sculpture garden which was our main destination. We were also able to walk to local amenities to pick up supplies for our road trip. The room itself was spare but functional with an extremely comfortable bed.
The air conditioner wasn't working, but we didn't discover until late, and there isn't a traditional lobby, so we didn't want to try to find someone to help at that hour, so we tried the fan, which worked, but only on high, and it rattled, so it wasn't the most restful night's sleep. However, I'm sure this could have been mitigated if we had discovered earlier or been bolder about trying to get help.
3.5
Nice property, very quiet, near Los Pozas.
A bit overpriced for what it was… we paid for a deluxe room with a balcony but were given a not-very deluxe room. Also there was no way to get coffee and tea benefits about 8am, and no kettle or way to make it in the room.
