Beautiful hotel conveniently located to visit Teotihuacan

Absolutely beautiful hotel, tropical gardens and pool. Comfortable bed and some unique touches and design in the room and communal areas. Very friendly staff and a few minutes drive to Teotihuacan. The attached restaurant does very good food, both breakfast & dinner, with a lovely setting.

Could do with a fan in the room.

An oasis in San Juan, we can’t wait to return!

everything, literally everything — especially the kindness of the workers, the gorgeous grounds and attention to plant life, butterflies everywhere, delicious breakfast, staying in an old horse stable. It’s low season so it’s quiet here and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Fantastic value for money, true oasis in the center of town.

Restaurant is very good, breakfast omelette superb. It would be nice if one could pay for the breakfast by charging to the room.

Internet could have been better in upstairs rooms. The hotel should upgrade to nest wireless routers as opposed to single wireless routers.

lovely stay and you must try the temazcal

- all the facilities - the trees and flowers in their garden - the kind helpfulness of all the staff - we tried the temazcal which is a special treatment with a sauna like setting but built in stone and with a ritual performed by a local person who has had generations of this family tradition as healing

poorly maintained and operated

it is a nice property, with a beautiful garden. it is well designed. Close to the pyramids. staff was nice.

swimming pool dirty and uninviting. restaurant closed for dinner. hot tub/jacuzzi dirty and cold and out of order. poor choice for included breakfast. it’s a shame that nobody seems interested in trying to make this place operate at its full potential, especially given the price you pay to stay there

Amazing experience , relaxing and confortable.

With the package we had breakfast was filling and good, chilaquiles or eggs the portions were good , taste was good but they didn't have a lot of options for fruits, although everything is made at the moment of ordering. The room was quite spacious, the bed was very confortable and provided you a heater. bathroom also spacious. The place is an old Hacienda but is very beautiful and quiet. there is a place for having a bonfire and a pool. its 10 minutes top to Teotihuacan. At the hotel provided us with the contact to go to the hot air balloons. The Spa is really relaxing and beautifully set , In my stay I did the Temazcal ceremony , the Temazcalero guided us very well all through the process and the experience was amazing. The massage ladies listen to the requests and were very diligent and knowledgeable.

Maybe the only thing was that they need initiative to do stuff or fix stuff.

Friendly staff, breakfast, beautiful gardens are the best!

Mosquitoes !! We couldn’t sleep because of mosquitoes. Why didn't colibrí prepare mosquito nets? Or spray ? I found some dead mosquitoes on wall too. They did not have facial tissue , water bottles and extra toilet paper in the room. I have to ask toilet paper and soap. This is the first sight I saw while traveling.

A quaint and wonderful place to stay!

Gorgeous facility surrounded by trees and gardens! There is even a fireplace where you can sit and enjoy time with friends and family. The swimming pool is nice as well. Above all, the staff is amazing. They were all very warm and welcoming and always going above and beyond to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. We will remember this place for sure!

Small and minor improvements in the rooms would help make this place even better. Adding fans, window nets etc.

Old building with some quirks but the staff and location were great

The bed was very comfortable, the food in the restaurant was fantastic and the staff was amazing. we loved that the facility had onsite parking.

The bathroom was a problem, the shower was in a claw foot tub so the water got on the floor. The couch wasn’t comfortable so we watched TV from the bed.

The staff was very helpful. The room and gardens were lovely.

The pool was ice cold . Breakfast starts at 9 which is late if you want to be at pyramids for opening. Only local tv channels. Avoid the restaurant. While the food is fine it is expensive and very very slow . It took 40 min to serve a small pizza and everyone else in our party had finished.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt safe.

Good location. Short drive distance to the pyramids, walking distance to the town’s center and San Juan Cathedral. Good service and food at the hotel’s Restaurant. One block from Taxi service or walk to the town’s center. Get your own taxi. If the hotel request the taxi for you it doubles the price!

Reported issue with shower head - water not flowing properly. They fixed it right away, but after one shower, it happened again. We removed the shower head.

Original place Where you can Get The feeling og being in a real spanish/mexican household and not in a chain hotel. Nice service.

Only a few people speak english.

We recommend Posada Colibri and would stay again ourselves.

The location is ideal. We were able to walk to El centro and restaurants. Also just a short drive to the pyramids. Nice grounds. Pet friendly. Plenty of space to walk our dogs. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I liked absolutely everything from this place, it's beautiful, comfy, incredible costumer service. Warm water, big rooms, and the perfect location, few blocks away from the local market.
