The main floor has an open floor plan with expansive windows overlooking a wooded lot. Kitchen is well stocked to cook and a Weber grill is on the back deck. Kitchen has a stainless steel refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher and microwave. There is plenty of pots and pans and a crock pot too.
We have an expansive DVD movie library and the flat screens are SMART so you can access your Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, or HULU on vacation. There is a new gaming area in the bunk room with WiiU and games provided. We have Xfinity for cable to access local and sports channels. Every bedroom has flat screen TVs some with DVD as well.
Our home is located just off West Hill and is perfectly located to easily get to the ski base or walk right down the driveway for easy access to the VAST trails for hiking or snowshoeing. You can sled right down our driveway with provided sleds or go down the road to the West Hill Recreation Area which has an awesome sledding hill plus basketball courts for warmer weather fun.
Okemo is the place to be with 96% snow making coverage and consistent top rankings for snow quality! Our home is a beautiful choice if you want to be super close to the base while still having privacy to enjoy the ultimate vacation experience!
The mountain features 121 trails, slopes and glades and has 19 lifts, including 9 quad chairs (5 high speed detachable quads), 3 triple chairs and 7 surface lifts. Okemo has one Super Pipe and five terrain parks throughout the mountain. At 2,200 feet, Okemo has the highest vertical drop in Southern Vermont.
Okemo's award-winning children's programs accomplish two important goals - they provide fun, exciting and valuable learning experiences for kids ages 4-14 and they allow parents to enjoy themselves, knowing that their children are being taught and supervised by the best staff anywhere.

We had a great weekend staying in the cabin. Everything was exactly as promised in the listing. The hot tub was excellent and we loved the proximity to Ludlow and Okemo. We had one small issue with the water resulting from the recent floods but Jennifer was extremely helpful and got the problem solved immediately.

Great cabin for a weekend getaway with 5 friends. The owner was easy to get a hold of and we loved the outside fire pit and also the downstairs game area for a rainy night. The water pressure was a little tricky at first but overall, it’s a great place and we would definitely book again.

We absolutely loved our stay over this weekend. Despite the rain ludlow was still a lively town with great food and company. We had a reunion of girlfriends for the weekend and we were all raving about how cute this place was, how well stocked, how private, and how clean it was! Check in and and was a breeze and the host was super responsive and gave us great suggestions on what to do around town. I’m considering coming back with my family next time.

VRBO host (Jennifer) was kind and communicative. The house is great … cozy, comfortable, and clean. Highlights were the hot tub, wood stove when the power went out due to record snow fall, and family dinners at the dining room table. The beds were comfortable and the family-friendly set up was perfect for out 4-night stay over March break. Hope you enjoy this place & space as much as we did!

Our stay was wonderful! We skied at Okemo for 3 days and stayed at the property 4 nights. The cabin was so cozy and comfortable. It was clean and well equipped. The hot tub was big and was perfect after a day on the slopes. The host was kind and gracious as well. We enjoyed our time immensely and would recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet, cozy place to stay.

Great location close to the skate resorts but yet not in the hustle and bustle of the resort itself… The cabin met all our needs… Only had one question and Jennifer the owner responded very quickly… We would recommend the cabin…

The house was great (exactly as expected), very comfortable for 10 adults and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. The host was very responsive and accommodating, checking in/out was easy. We'd love to stay there again!

Quaint, rustic home with spectacular setting. Our host was attentive and ready to assist if we had a problem. We had a wonderful time and the only issue we had was trouble with the water pressure. Other than that, this is a lovely home in the middle of beautiful woods. We would stay again!

Our 4 older teens (2 17 y.o., 2 19 y.o.) had a great time; the air hockey table was a huge hit as was the hot tub. Easy access to the fun activities at Okemo, and a quick jump in nearby Buttermilk falls is not to be missed. Nice fire pit out back for s'mores too!

A group of us stayed here for two nights and couldn’t have been more pleased! The host was friendly and quick to reply, the home was well kept and spacious. The deck was great, and the hot tub was clean and well maintained. The location couldn’t be beat, minutes to a shaws/restaurants/shops while feeling remote and private at the property. Would definitely come back if back in the Ludlow area!

Two families enjoyed a weekend at the Okemo Ski Chalet. Great house for kids. Has a neat VT lodge feel and was extremely clean and organized. Location was key - near lots of activities for families, adults and young kids. Jennifer was outstanding as a host - sent us a thorough list of activities in the area, suggestions on dining, shopping etc. Definitely recommend!

Great summer vaca location
I rented this home for my family which included myself, my husband, 2 children, my mother in law and our dog. We wanted to stay near an area that was close to activities for the kids. We were able to go to Okemo Mountain for lift rides and Jackson gore for the mountain coasters. Buttermilk Falls were fun for everyone and also very close as was a very fun petting zoo. The adults were craving some of our own time and the propane fire pit and hot tub on the back deck delivered! The nights got cool enough and it was so enjoyable. Jennifer was available for any questions and the home was so cute and perfect for us.

Relaxing Summer Weekend
My friends and I stayed for a short weekend getaway for a friend's wedding, and the property could not have been more perfect! All instructions were very clear, there was more than enough room for three couples and one single individual, and the fire pit outside was such a treat! Jennifer was easy to get in touch with and super amenable to our group and wonderful to work with! Highly recommend!

Relaxing vacation in the woods
My family of 9 spent 5 nights at this house. Plenty of room to sleep and hang out. Table was large enough for our family meals and lots of space to play games and watch.movies. The hot tub accommodated 6 of us comfortably. We had a fire every night in the fire pit and made s’mores. The kitchen had all we needed to cook and we used the outside grill as well. Buttermilk falls was a short distance and we enjoyed a short hike and a refreshing swim. Camp Plymouth state park was a quick drive and we enjoyed the lake and grassy areas as well. We rented paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boats for a reasonable price. Out dog even joined us one day. Okemo mountain was so close we drove to top and took a ride on the mountain coaster. Great house to rent if you are looking to relax.

Had a wonderful stay at this little cozy house with a group of friends. Place was very clean and the host was very responsive to any issues/ questions that I had. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Great Stay for skiing Okemo
This was a perfect place to stay for us and 5 other adults for skiing at Okemo. We all had our own space, but enjoyed coming together for breakfast, dinner in one night and hanging out together in evening..
Kitchen supplies were plenty. Wood for the fire place plentiful.. Recommend for a nice casual stay!

Property was fine. Overall maintenance of house was fair. Musty basement was smelly, which has a bedroom and kids playroom. Front deck railing fell off and was unsafe. Pieces of wood trim inside house were in need of fastening. Amenities were good. Owner was very responsive. Overall a b minus experience.

Ski Trip
The house was perfect for a ski trip with friends! We were very comfortable and loved the well stocked kitchen to cook our breakfasts and dinners. We especially loved the large dining room table we could all gather around. The hot tub was also a winner! 4 wheel drive is a must if there is any snow. We can’t wait to come back next winter!

Awesome cabin near Okemo
Perfect place for nine adults and one child. Hot tub was great. Beds were comfortable. Only downside was the cookware as we all cook. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Cozy house close to Base
We had a wonderful time! Loved being near the base and easy access to the slopes. Make sure you have a 4 wheel drive!! Our rental truck turned out not to be and we had a heck of a time on the mountain road (not the owner of the houses fault as they recommended this) we went under assumption with Enterprise and we're in a pickle for a few days but got a swamp out vehicle that was.
We would definitely recommend Jennifer's place!

Nice stay
We had a great time at this cozy home. There were plenty of beds for our large group of adults and kids of various ages. The owner was super helpful and the amenities were sufficient. The biggest bonus for our group were the two separate living areas, though the main floor living and kitchen areas felt a little tight. Everything was clean and the hot tub was amazing! Looking forward to staying here again soon.

Great house, close to Okemo
This home is a short drive (4-5 minutes) to Okemo, and is very comfortable, spacious, warm and clean. The hot tub is also wonderful. If you bring dogs you might want to bring an extra throw rug or two b/c the main floor is mostly wood floors. Overall this place was great and we would definitely stay there again.

Family ski trip
We had a great time staying here and skiing at Okemo. Our group of 6 adults and 3 kids had plenty of space to hang out, and it was super easy to get to the slopes. The kitchen is very well stocked with cookware and dinnerware, which was really helpful since we cooked and ate in during our whole trip. Definitely fire up the wood stove when it's cold out - it really keeps things toasty.

Family and Friends Ski Trip
We stayed at Jennifer's home the last weekend of January 2022 for a ski trip to Okemo with a group of family and friends.
The house was fantastic, a classic mountain home with plenty of charm and amenities. Fast wifi, a wood burning stove, multiple hangout rooms and bonuses like the hot tub and air hockey table made this house plenty of fun. You could tell that a family had made many fond memories there.
The proximity to the mountain and the town made getting to the lifts before the crowds easy and it was secluded enough that we felt like we had our own little hideaway.
Jennifer was very responsive and attentive and the instructions sent over we're clear and full of info for stuff to do during every season. Check-in was a breeze as well with keypad locks on the doors.
I would recommend this gone to anyone who wants to get away to Vermont and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Cozy cabin conveniently located
Enjoyed our stay! Cabin was clean and check in easy. Great communication with landlords. All needed supplies were available. The cabin is quick drive to the ski slopes. Space works well for families with fun activities. Difficult to get the temperature consistent throughout the cabin. Some beds more comfortable than others.

Great house in a very convenient location! The house has nicer trim and furniture than you can tell from photos. Comfortably slept our family of 5 with a full bedroom left unused (with two queens). Owner was very responsive and helpful. Extremely short drive (3-4min) to Okemo

great location for skiing at Okemo
Condo was in great shape, although a few misses on the cleaning (e.g. hairs and debris on the sheets on the trundle bed, no soap in the bathrooms). The kitchen, especially the gas stove, was great for preparing a meal for a larger party. Beds were very comfortable. Kids liked the air hockey table. The hot tub was excellent and wonderfully located right outside the back door. The owner was very responsive. The one challenge we had was that the roads leading up to the property are VERY steep, so if it is icy or snowing (as it was during our visit) it will make for very challenging driving to get up the hill. Make sure you have a vehicle that can handle it.
