Beautiful property, great location, there’s a restaurant on the property, the boat was the most important thing to us and gave us the freedom to come and go as we please and explore. It was beautiful. The water pressure had a difficult time reaching the master shower on the 3rd floor. But we were so pleased with everything else we honestly didn’t care and could use one of the other 2 full showers on the 2nd level. We would definitely stay here again.

February Point is quiet and convenient. The house is very comfortable and everyone loved the view from their bedroom. The boat is perfect for cruising around the bay and the private dock made starting the adventure very easy. The host was quick to respond.

Just returned from our second stay in February Point. We decided to go with this property because of the boat.
Pros:

No water on third floor during our visit (Not a problem for two couples. We stayed on the second floor)
Water pressure was very poor in the showers.
The outdoor shower had good pressure but is a shower head, not a designated shower. I used it the whole time, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to get shampoo out of my long hair. Not a deal breaker for me, but you are walking downstairs to shower outside in the open.
The main floor doesn’t cool nearly as well as upstairs. (Not a big deal, but it is noticeable.)
There are a few minor things like knobs on drawers, screws on chairs that need to be tightened etc., but nothing major. No Home Depot or Lowe’s on Exuma!
Having a boat at your disposal is a huge advantage. On our first visit in 2019, we rented a boat. Having to drive to get it and drop it off by 5:00 was not nearly as convenient.
The beauty of Exuma lies on the water. We used the boat every day and loved it. Beautiful, beautiful water and beaches!

The property is in a great location and we really enjoyed our stay. I can't give it a 5 star rating though due to the fact that it is advertised as a 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath and we were never able to use the 3rd floor bathroom due to the low water pressure. I know this is not the owners fault, but it really should be advertised as a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath.
We were able to take a shower outside where there was an outdoor showerhead. It would be nice if there was some kind of enclosure for the outdoor shower so you don't have to take a shower in your swimsuit. Also, most of group used the outdoor shower because even the second floor showers had low pressure.
Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and the owner was very flexible with our check in and check out times.

We booked this villa because it included the boat, and having it was everything. Easy to handle and got us everywhere we wanted to go. Just a lovely addition that allowed us to truly explore. But the home itself exceeded expectations as well! Lots of room and built with nice materials. Washer/Dryer and Dishwasher were a must and it was wonderful to be close to the pool and restaurant. We couldn't believe the views and especially the fact that there were multiple sea turtles in the marina at almost all times. Chris and Jeneice were both fantastic. Highly recommend for a trip of a life time.

This property was perfect for our family of 5. We had the most amazing spring break trip!!! The house was wonderful! The boat was the best part! We are boaters and really enjoyed being out on the water every day. The property manager is so sweet, just loved her!! We can't wait to come back again very soon!!!

Having the boat was definitely a game changer! Loved being able to boat around to all the best spots and the markets! House had some minor issues and water pressure was extremely bad during our stay with our villa and the neighboring villa… other than that we loved the trip!

Loved the stay! Had everything we needed and more! Lovely views of the water. The boat, kayaks and boards were a huge plus! Enjoyed the convenience of dinner at Rusty Anchor 1 night. Pool areas and beach so close and convenient. (Only disappointment- the hot tub was not working at the Feb Point pool area! )

Our family stayed from Dec 30-Jan 6 at this beautiful home overlooking the water. The owner, Chris, and local property manager, Jeneice, are incredibly responsive and will do anything they can to make your stay perfect! The boat was such a great bonus to this property. We used it almost every day to visit Chat ‘n Chill, Stocking Island, & Starfish Beach. The location of February Point can’t be beat. Such a beautiful and secure resort. The only issue we had was the lack of water pressure, but I understand this is an issue in most places on Exuma. You will not be disappointed in this home.

Our stay was perfect. The house was exactly as described and is in a great, central location. The community pool is a short walk away and really nice as well. We had a lot of fun on the paddle boards and going out on the boat. (The boat is a HUGE plus for this property). Last, but not least, Janiece, the caretaker of the property, is a gem. Handles any little concern you may have immediately and gives you insights on the island. Absolutely loved our stay here - looking forward to next year.

My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lovely house! The ac was perfect even on the top floor! We used the boat to run over to Stocking Island. We visited Chat n Chill. Starfish beach and Sand Dollar Beach! We also took your boat to Hoopers Bay and fed the sea turtles romane lettuce. We took 403 pictures...(too many) thanks again!

Master bath shower is not level and according to previous reviews was supposed to have been fixed over a year ago.It holds an inch of water at all times and smells very bad. Shower door in 2nd bathroom feel apart and was unusable. Light bulbs out in fixtures. I literally showered at the outdoor shower because of the smell. Bimini top on boat is shredded, appliances are old and in bad shape. Dishwasher leaked, microwave over stove did not work. Doors to the outside are in need of repair. One became unusable while we were there.
This home needs a major renovation, not just a fresh coat of paint.

This is the 2nd time I’ve rented this property! Another Great stay! Beds are so comfortable and the house had everything you need to enjoy Exuma! The boat is a huge plus and a major reason we love this property. The owner chris handles any questions quickly and efficiently to help you enjoy your stay. And caretaker jeniece is huge help also. This is our second time at BB1, and as usual, everything was fantastic! It’s the best location on the island, central to going to Elizabeth Harbor or south to Moriah Harbor. Rusty Anchor, which is a two minute walk away from the house, is the best restaurant on the island in my opinion. loved hanging out at the pools after a day of boating, will definitely be back for a third stay!

Overall trip was absolutely amazing. Was great to come back and visit and bring friends to experience. The island is beautiful, Chris the owner did everything he could to make sure we were set for our visit and his concierge Jeneice was awesome. It could not have gone better. I would recommend the property and team to anyone. Anything that came up they handled with class. Could not be happier.

We had a wonderful time in this perfect slice of paradise. My girlfriend, friends and I booked this place for 6 people and 5 nights. We had a wonderful time and a very relaxing stay free of any worries. All amenities we ever could have needed were provided and the hosts were extremely friendly and very communicative. The property manager Jeniece was awesome and can shop for you, cook for your group or provide you with anything you need before you arrive and during your stay. Chris, the host was easy to get a hold of with all questions and replies quickly. The location was perfect and the boat was a huge plus because we could get to EVERYTHING by boat! A great safe place in a gated community. I highly recommend packing frozen meats in a freezer box and checking them as a checked bag on your way because food is expensive in Bahamas in general! Can't wait to come back. 5 stars across the board. Thank you to property manager and Chris!

I have been to Exuma 4 times. Fantastic overall property. February Point location and amenities are excellent. The ladies loved the spa and the restaurant was great. If you are a boater, world class private beaches await.

This was our second time staying in February Point due to the great location. We chose this villa because of access to the boat which was great and we used it each day. The owner Chris was great at communicating and allowed us to check in early. We had an issue with the AC in one of the bedrooms but was fixed the next day. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

It was our first trip so keep that in mind. It was me, my husband, dad and sister. The property was perfect for this mix. We could all stay in one place and spend a lot of time together. Having the boat was great but we wished we had reverted a car as we were locked into a few restaurants without. The property was in a very nice location and the host and property manager were very nice and communicative. Three only issue we had was the condition of the property. It was dated and much more warn than expected. It had everything we needed and worked fine for us but thought we were staying somewhere that was on better shape.

Clean, safe rental in a perfect location in the harbor. House is showing its age in certain areas, but everything you need is there. Well equipped kitchen. Barbecue grill served the purpose but could be replaced. Of course the highlight of the trip was the use of the boat. What a fantastic perk! The market was easily accessible by boat and we were able to visit the beautiful surrounding beaches at our leisure.
Jeneice was wonderful, as were the all of the locals that we encountered. Such friendly people, which helped to make the trip special! Would love to return.

We were expecting a more pristine rental. We were disappointed in the accommodations considering the cost. The boat was an absolute savior and plus. The development was nice too. Paddles for paddleboards were broken. The house was ok, but not as great as expected. We had a great time there and taking the boat out daily, so overall was a good trip! Just don't think the listing/photos match the accommodations as expected. Shouldn't arrive to broken paddles.

Exuma Fun
My overall impression was good. There are somethings that can be better. The location is amazing and the boat is a real plus. The resort pool is beautiful and we spent a lot of time at the pool after the boat trips. The villa has great views and the dock and balconies are great. The villa is showing a lot of wear and tear. The furniture needs to be upgraded. The upstairs bathroom shower doesn't drain correctly as the slop of the shower pitch is uneven. We also couldn't get wifi in the upstairs bedroom so we had to move to the king bed on the second floor and give the kids the Master. However the overall villa is nice and February Point is a great spot while visiting the Exuma's.

We had a really nice time at this villa. Everyone associated with this property was awesome and so helpful. Chris responded quickly, Jeanine was excellent and having the boat was amazing. The only reason I didn’t give all 5/5 was because the group before us left a mess which made check in a little slower than usual. Other than that I would highly recommend this property!

We love exuma
This house is beautiful. Communication with the host Chris was excellent. Any problems we encountered were handled quickly by the owner who really cares to make sure your stay is a good one!..and jeniece is a huge help and fantastic! The boat makes all the difference to access that amazing exuma water! That’s the main reason we rented this particular house besides it’s beautiful location in February point which we have stayed at before.. a very convenient location to groceries and restaurants. Perfect Week
We are so happy that we chose Villa BB1, our first time to the island and we felt like we hit a home run, Chris (owner), replied to any questions within minutes, Janese (House Manager), was there for us from provisions before our arrival, to a hug upon our departure, making a trip to a remote island feel completely at home, the house worked perfect for our group of 6, having a boat at our disposal at anytime made this the best trip we have ever had. I would love to keep this home as our secret , but that would not be fair to Chris, he has really gone to great lengths to open his home to all, and we really appreciate it, we will be back soon!

Great spot for family with older kids
We loved our time in this house with college age sons and daughters. The main floor provided a perfect common space for us to gather while bedrooms provided privacy as they are spaced. Stairs would be tough for young families but it was perfect for our group. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the boat made exploring the area easy. We would stay again!

Wonderful stay
We spent 8 nights here in October and had a wonderful trip, it was our 6th trip to Georgetown. We've stayed in February Point before and the location is excellent. This was low season, the restaurant was hardly open but it felt like we were in our own resort when we went to the pool & beach.
We had some really good meals when we stayed in February Point in 2019 at the Rusty Anchor. This trip we went once and all 4 of us were not impressed at all and when we did think about going again, it would be closed.
The house was very well equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals and was very comfortable overall, the beds were amazing! We had turtle visitors every day down at the dock. Chris was always very responsive and the boat was wonderful to have. It got pretty crazy weather wise the last couple of days so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we had hoped.
We did a day trip with Johnson Getaways and they were very good and picked us up right at February Point Marina. Overall, we had a wonderful trip. There were a few minor wear & tear items but nothing that ruined the trip. We met one of the neighbors and we had a wonderful night with homemade grouper fingers, steaks and some good wine. We would definitely stay here again, thank you for sharing your second home.

Potential for wonderful trip that just never materialized
The unit was great for 48 hours. Beautiful location and well equipped. We enjoyed the boat, though the garmin nav system and the VHF radio did not work which made me a bit concerned to be in unfamiliar shallow waters. We reached out to the owner who referred us to Ramone who cared for the boat equipment. Reached out via whats app and text and never got a response so that was frustrating, but we made do.
Checked in Friday. Sunday afternoon I'm on the boat and I get a call from my wife that the water heater is leaking and flooding the main floor. Reach out to owner who gets a plumber out quickly on a Sunday. My wife, MIL and I spent thirty minutes soaking up water from the floor with a beach towel and writing it over the balcony. Plumber says needs a new WH, will get it done Monday. Shuts off water to the WH which due to the nature of the shower plumbing, killed our ability to get water out of the shower heads. So from Sunday afternoon we had no ability to shower other than using the hose outside, or a washcloth in the sink. Monday was Columbus day. Plumber had not shown by noonish, messaged owner who stated plumber just finished a job and hitting the store then will be over. Fine. 3pm, still no plumber. Message owner again, find out plumber took rest of day off due to holiday. Assures us we'll have a new water heater Tuesday.
By now we had cancelled a tour due to lack of bathing and were looking at another day without showers. We were still wringing up several towels worth of water every few hours. Plumber had not drained the leaking tank on Sunday.
I messaged owner saying we are leaving and it's time to just end the contract early, refund the unused portion of our trip as we are finding alternative accommodations with working plumbing. He said no, and at this point offered a 10% discount. I said not good enough, end the contract. It sucks the WH broke on a weekend and a holiday, but it did. No one's fault, but don't make my family deal with the consequences on what was supposed to be a perfect Caribbean vacation. He said no., it will be fixed on Tuesday and VRBO gives 48 hours to resolve issues. I had enough of "island time" for repairing essentials and wanted my family to be able to shower so we left. He did give a $1000 credit which is not adequate. I asked for nothing other than ending agreement on Monday.
VRBO support is useless. Now it is in the hands of my credit card. Local property manager did not come help clean the water. Sad.

Stunning
This was our second visit this year. The house is fantastic and the boat makes the whole trip even more memorable. We stayed 10 days this time, and it still didn’t seem long enough. We were all sad to leave. We’ve made lifelong friends on the island and plan on returning again and again. Thank you Jeneice for making sure the house was spotless and that we had everything we needed. It was a trip of a lifetime with family and friends.

Everything from checking to extending stay with owner was a breeze. Everything worked great with exception of upstairs tv but honestly could have been the operator! Big bonus is the boat on site everyday
