Location
Sand Castle1 boasts island living at its finest. We are located half way between Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach in the city of Indian Shores. Easy access to big city convenience but the calm of a small family-friendly island community. Tampa International Airport is located about 30-45 minutes away.
OUR CONDO
Our home has been newly renovated : Every thing has been upgraded, painted and refreshed. New and Clean…Non-smoking unit
1. Open gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances ( includes side by side fridge with ice and water in the door), granite counters, glass backsplash, breakfast bar, Beach themed dishes and silverware, blender, coffee pot, toaster, all the necessary kitchen gadgets..
2. Our living room/ dining area features a flat screen tv, comfortable sofa and chairs, stereo, DVD player. Free Wi-Fi throughout the unit. Dining table seats 6 with additional seating for 2 at the breakfast bar. Gulf Front balcony-always a great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
3. Master bedroom has new king bed and the adjoining master bath has enlarged spa–like shower, new fixtures, granite counter top. Flat screen tv . Large patio doors open to balcony on the Gulf.
4. Second bedroom has two double beds-view of the intercoastal waterway. TV. Second bathroom features new fixtures and tile.
5. Washer/ dryer located off second bathroom.
6. Den/ bedroom 3 has a single bed . A private oasis with a door off the hall …Perfect for younger guests.
7. Balcony has a table with 4 chairs and an additional high top with seating for two. Beach chairs , umbrella, and toys are in the utility closet
SandCastle 1 Amenities : Our landscaped grounds rival any on the beach. The Sandcastle I complex has a large beach-side pool(heated in winter) and hot tub, and game room with ping pong, a lending library, and free Wireless Internet service. There is a designated barbeque grill area with gas and a charcoal grill, and picnic tables. We have a private beach entrance with a shower and shared beach-toy box. Each condo has one designated reserved numbered parking space. Some short term-visitor spaces are available on a first come basis. Additional street parking may be available north of the complex.
Area Amenities: Many great restaurants are within walking distance: You can get anything from pizza, breakfast, seafood , or 5 star gourmet within a very short area. A Trolley stops in front of the building and runs from Clearwater to St. Pete’s beach. If you prefer fishing or boating, there is a Boat rental dock just across the street; where you can also rent bikes or motorbikes. Shopping choices are endless: Jonn’s Pass, malls, Old St. Pete , etc.. Other activities including a seasonal Farmers Market, Florida Botanical Gardens, Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, libraries, theaters, galleries, and world class museums.
And then there are sports: The area is home to the NFL Buccaneers, the NHL Lightning and the American League Tampa Bay Rays. Spring training,Gran Prix Racing, and Bowl Games. Still need more? Bush Gardens is only 40 minutes away or take a day trip to Orlando. If you want a more eco day, visit Crystal River.
There is so much to see and do, one week is never enough. Enjoy..We know you will return.

We loved staying at this condo! It was very spacious and had a fantastic balcony. It is on the main stretch in IRB and close to everything. The beach area at the property was great and not too crowded. The hosts were very accommodating and so helpful!

We have been vacationing in Indian Shores for over 25 years. This unit is by far the nicest unit we have stayed in. It is immaculate in cleanliness, updated and well stocked. The owner was amazing to work with. We have already booked for 2025 and can't wait to go back!

If you’re staying in the Indian Rocks area, look no further. This condo is perfect, it has everything you could possibly need. From kitchen supplies to chairs and all sorts of things for the beach. The owners are great and so helpful. We could not have enjoyed our stay more.

If you’re looking for a quieter, more relaxed version of Clear Water than this is the place. My family loved the beautiful beach and pool and the unit was very well equipped for all of our needs and our 4 children. The beach is steps away from the building and has white sand with clear water. My family and I were able to see dolphins swimming in the ocean from our balcony window. It is very close to grocery stores and only a 20 minute drive to Clear Water beach as well. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The property was just as described in the listing and more. This condo was stocked with plenty of toiletry items. We brought extra from home and didn’t need to use them at all. The area was great as well. I would definitely rent this condo again in the future.

Everything was GREAT except the ice maker hardly worked so we had to buy ice daily for our coolers and the condo is warm. At night we were all uncomfortable sleeping because it was too warm for us. The view is PERFECT. The location is PERFECT. The beach access is PERFECT. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the things. It's super clean and the host adds a personal touch that we all loved!! We would stay here again for sure!!

Stayed with my Mom, daughter-in-law from NH and two young grandsons. It was glorious to get them out of the cold and into the sunshine of Florida. We loved the quiet, family friendly beach and even saw dolphins from the balcony where we had coffee every morning. The condo was the best stocked VRBO I have stayed in and the host was very responsive. We are already talking about "the next time". The decor was refreshing and up to date and there were so many things to do that we only got to about half of our list. Definitely felt safe and so did the young ones. They enjoyed the beach and the nice big table for cards and games. All in all, it was wonderful. Easy in and out access with the door code and we were right by the elevator which was nice. Plenty of beach toys were supplied. Would definitely stay here again.

This property is just what we asked for. The unit is undated:
appliances, furniture, beds, etc. The owners made us feel like family. The view is spectacular. The gulf and pool were great for swimming, and relaxing. Other guests were friendly, all children were well behaved. Hot tub was an added plus. We will go back and stay again.

Marie and Don are great to work with, we had open communication from the time I requested to book their home. They even checked on us while we were there. The condo is as beautiful as pictured on VRBO and we enjoyed our stay. Everything you need to have is there, which adds to the stress free living during a vacation. Relaxing beach views
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Well stocked kitchen and quite a bit of beach gear. We used the grill downstairs every day. The view of the sunset was fabulous and being right on the beach was perfect! Would highly recommend this unit. The building is older outside but this unit was nicely updated.

Perfect beach condo
The condo was very clean, beautifully decorated and had plenty of room for our family of 5. From morning coffee to watching the sunset, the gulf view from the balcony was great. The condo has everything (inside and out) that you need to enjoy your beach vacation. Wonderful communication with Marie from start to finish.

Truly All-Inclusive!
We absolutely loved our stay at Don and Marie's condo - it truly felt like we were at the home of old college friends. Everything I brought from home (beach bag, first aid kit, extra toiletries, etc) we didn't even need! The place is fully stocked, even down to the champagne/prosecco flutes, which we definitely used, ha! And all the guests leave their goodies behind, so there's a community stash of condiments, seasonings, sandwich bags, body wash, sunscreen, aloe gel, you name it. The unit is beautifully decorated, and the balcony is huge. One of the rainy/cloudy days we didn't even leave the building, just sat on the balcony and enjoyed the view. Check-in was a breeze, and there is open and constant communication. We highly recommend, and hope to get back down that way in the future!

5 star beach condo
This property will not disappoint. Everything about this condo and the accommodation where on point. This unit has everything that you will need for a great beach vacation “just add your family”. My only regret is that we really needed an additional week ! It was over way too soon. We give it 5 stars and will stay here again.

Right on the beach
You really cannot ask for anything more in a rental condo. It is steps for the beach with a balcony that looks out over the ocean and prefect for sunset views every night. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were updated, the kitchen had everything you need for meal preps and the pool was sparkling with plenty of chairs. The condo community was very friendly. We had a couple questions for the owners and receive quick replies.
We had not been to Indian Rock Beach before so did not know what the area was like. It is not a walkable community. There are not sidewalks in most areas. There are many very wonderful restaurants but transportation is needed to get to them. We did not rent a car but Uber'ed everywhere. The wait times for the Uber were minimal.

The condo was so clean and decorated beautifully. It was well stocked with everything you need to make your vacation effortless. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Marie and Don reached out on our first day to see if we needed anything. We strongly recommend a stay at this property!
