Our cabin was clean and very nicely furnished. We often sat on the front deck and enjoyed the lovely view of the lake and trees. We brought our boat, so it was a very short walk to the dock. We had a wonderful four days and plan to return again next year!

We will be back! It was a great stay.

Comfy cabin, as advertised, on a beautifully landscaped property that leads down to the water. We walked to the Knotty Pine Marina, the well-stocked Peninsula Market, the coffee shop (with wifi), and dinner at The Red Onion. Recommended.

Cute, clean cabin in a nice quiet area with close access to grocery, restaurants & gas. Cabin is rather small but manageable for a family of 4. Paper goods, sheets and towels provided which is a plus. No laundry so be aware of that. Access to water and shared dock is easy if you have a boat or enjoy water sports. The only negative is the internet, which is terrible. Plan to bring reading material because the streaming tv rarely works, at least during our stay in late June. Overall highly recommend.

Great time on this immaculate lake/coveside property.
All amenities onsite, boat dock, comfortable house, nearby restaurants, hiking Lassen NP, biking Westshore paved trail.
Excellent time at Almanor-again here!

We enjoyed the cabin and the fact that it was so close to the lake. The cabin was cozy and the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed the patio down closer to the lake. The parking was very good, being right next to the cabin. We were also impressed with Lake Almanor and all the beauty surrounding it. The only downside was that we had no heat in the morning to take the chill off the cool mornings. We'd like to come back again however, we want to make sure that we have heat.
Thanks
Rick

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was well equipped and clean. Lake was easily accessible and our dog enjoyed swimming in the lake. We would definitely recommend this place. It would have been nice if we had a manual to setup the heater but apart from that we really enjoyed the place.

We went to Lake Almanor for my husband's birthday. The house is very nice. The posting is misleading as it leads one to think that it is somewhat secluded. There are houses packed around it. One night, one of the neighbors were very loud. The wifi didn't work, which was a problem, nor did the TV. The place was clean and comfortable. It was nice to be able to walk to the grocery store and restaurants.

The view from the deck was beautiful. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very small. The only drawback for us was the driveway. It is steep and narrow. The parking spaces are lined with big boulders. Trying to get backed out of the parking space to leave was difficult. We could not see the boulders over the hood of the car because it was facing uphill. Unfortunately we thought we were over far enough but we weren't. We hit those boulders on the passenger side of our car. We now have to replace both doors on that side of the car. Other than that a pleasant stay.

Water was low but still accessable. Will be back soon.

Beautiful view; nice fully appointed deck under the trees. Cabin is located on a marina with easy lake access for canoes, kayaks, etc. Very nice stay, although the lake was quite low.

This cabin was perfect to enjoy returning to our vacation area of 39 years. It was comfortable, quiet and had anything we needed in the way of supplies. After a failed attempt to the emergency # posted, we were able to talk to the manager over a most unexpected bug invasion. All in all we were delighted.

This property has a view of and access to the water. We swam, kayaked and rented a jet ski from the near by Knotty Pines Resort. It also has a nice grassy lawn that was great for playing cornhole with our family and great for our dog. The kitchen was fully equipped and made it easy to prepare meals and the few nights we didn’t feel like cooking, we ate at the restaurants that were within walking distance. We will stay here again!

We would definitely stay here again. great location, family friendly, nice patio and fire pit area to hang out. my kiddos had fun exploring the yard after a day of hiking and adventures and there is a nice view of the inlet. the beaches are rocky so would advise water shoes to pack.

Nice that we could have our dogs with us. Good central location. Very nice and quiet. Enjoyed the kayaks that were available to use and having the dock to fish from.

Great place on the lake for 4 adults. Beds good and shower too. Good Kitchen with pans for cooking ok but skillets ... bring your own and coffee cups too (ones provided SO small). Ceiling fans in all rooms but the weather was HOT so we brought our own room fans too. Keep house closed up in day to keep cooler.
Property is really steep as listed ... do NOT go down the cement driveway with your ski boat to unload your vehicle... no place to turn around or back up. Go launch first, unhook your boat trailer and park in the big area above the units and then down down drive to park and unload. Patio furniture ok but really uncomfortable. We brought our own lawn chairs.
Water was very low in Big Cove at the property's dock and we had to park sideways in the channel to be able to get the boat out again. Probably got the last water of the summer season in 2021 at that dock. NO boats slips at any other places like Knotty Pine, Big Cove, or anywhere in that cove to dock your boat in deep enough water. A little walk to the boat which was fine but it is steep walk for those unable to walk well.
We made the best of the low water but rest of July and August.....

Nice and easy stay in a nice and cute property.

This is a cute little cabin, comfy beds, kitchen has everything you'll probably need. The deck is roomy enough with tables, chairs and bbq. The grounds are beautiful with a nice grassy area to play on. There is also a patio further down the slope near the water with furniture and a propane fire pit. Check with the extremely helpful property manager about current water levels. The lake is very low.

The property was exactly as described. It was very comfortable for my family of 4. The kitchen was well stocked with items to use. The amenities on the property were very nice and comfortable. It was a great central location to visit Burney Falls and Lassen Volcanic National Park. If you looking for a nice spot to get away look no further. We will booking again the future

The 5 of us had a great stay in July. There were 3 small children and we all had enough room. Our ski boat was tied up to the dock, which was about 100 yards from the house. Nice lawn area and a quiet cove where the water meets the shore. The walk down to the lake is dusty but didn’t mind it since we were going in the water anyway. Close walk to a couple restaurants. We would stay again!

Easy breezy..! Great quaint spot tucked within the trees.. we loved it and it worked out perfect...! Thank you and we will be back for sure!
