About this apartment rental

This condo has a fantastic location to Aspen Mountain and downtown Aspen. You can ski directly onto Aspen Mountain from the condo. Or, if you prefer, the Aspen Mountain gondola is a short walk (1.5 blocks) from the condo. If you prefer to ski at Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk or Snowmass you are only 2 blocks from the free skier shuttle.

In addition to its excellent proximity to Aspen Mountain, this condo, with its floor to ceiling glass windows, has unrivaled views of Aspen Mountain, Red Mountain as well as downtown Aspen. Conveniently centered in the heart of Aspen you are never more than a few blocks from world class shops, hotels and restaurants.

The Durant condominium complex recently completed a $12 million exterior renovation (completed in June, 2015). In addition, the interior of this particular condo (B-301) was recently renovated (November, 2015) using luxury finishes, that include quartz counter tops, all new appliances, updated bedrooms, all new furnishings, 4 flat screen TVs, a wood-burning fireplace, skylights throughout, a washer/dryer in the unit, and free wireless high-speed internet.

The master bedroom includes a king size bed, an in-suite bath with a walk-in shower, and a heated bathroom floor. One of the guest bedrooms includes a queen-size bed while the other guest bedroom has two twins. Both bedrooms share a hall access bathroom that also has heated floors.

All beds in the condo have new mattresses, layered in sumptuous linens, followed by pillows and duvets/down comforters; a wonderful and luxurious way to drift to sleep after a day in the mountains.

The condo also includes an outdoor ski locker near the front door. Flexible cleaning service is available upon request (daily - weekly). The condo also comes with a permit for on-site (uncovered) parking.

Complex amenities at the Durant Condominiums include a heated pool and hot tub; an outdoor grill; common area laundry; on-site free parking and free wireless high speed internet.

Hard to beat the location if you want to be in the heart of Aspen. Seamless check in, just followed the detailed instructions that were provided. We did need one item addressed which it was with one phone call, easy. Overall I would stay there again, ski season or summer, great location!

We really enjoyed staying in this condo. The listing is pretty accurate, with pictures representing the unit. It's clean, modern and nicely laid out. There's a king bedroom, queen bedroom and a queen bedroom with twin bunk, I believe this is different from the description. Also, the unit is on the 3rd floor of a walkup...be mindful of this! The views are amazing, the beds are comfortable and the proerty is well maintained.

How do I begin? What a beautiful rental with an insanely gorgeous view of Aspen. My family loved how close it was to the town, we walked to everything! It was magical. Grant was awesome and helped us when needed. He has such a beautiful property and we would stay here again!!!! The condo is so chic and stunning, it’s clean, and had everything we needed. Hard to beat the incredible views of the slopes and downtown Aspen from this unit. This remodeled condo is in great condition and is well stocked. Literally blocks to all Aspen has to offer - we walked everywhere. Highly recommend for your next Aspen booking. The responsive host will make your booking and check-in very easy.

We’ve visited Aspen about 10 times, private homes of friends, 10th mountain guy trips, Molly Gibson Lodge, and now these condos twice. The location is amazing and the unit was fabulous. Our kids always love the pool and we love that different groups of the family are always able to come and go to go shopping downtown or grab a bite and drink somewhere. The unit was perfect.

The owner did an excellent job communicating the check-in process and also provided multiple resources if we needed anything during our stay. The beds were very cozy and the area was quiet at night. The property is gorgeous and is better in person than pictured. The design made the condo very spacious for the 4 of us. The living room view of the mountain is breathtaking. The kitchen is equipped with everything to make your meals but we didn’t have time to make any. We made good use of the coffee grinder and coffee maker very morning. The location is convenient to walk to town. Check-in was easy. Grant informed us of the broken AC ahead of our stay and we didn’t need to use it. It’s a bummer we had to leave and would love to return in the future.

Great, clean condo, very central. It is on the 3rd floor that is only accessible by stairs. The fridge & freezer are located in the kitchen cabinet draws & the capacity is quite limited if you’re max’ing out guests at 6 & thinking of meal prep at home. There is also a Sonos speaker in living room , but could not figure out connection despite downloading prescribed app - some instructions for connecting would be nice. Would definitely stay again - thank you.

The view from this condo is outstanding! Our son (staying at The Little Nell) told us our condo and especially the view was nicer than their place. Nicely appointed with all necessities this condo is in a great location for all of the Aspen Core. The AC was very welcome! We had some issues with check-in (code didn't work), but that was handled quickly by the Property Managers. Decor was clean & modern - only issue we had was running out of room to store the excessive amount of throw pillows. HA! I would suggest posting how many steps into the condo (three full flights of stairs). At this altitude it could be a major concern for those with health issues. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend!

Stayed with my brother for a last minute ski trip. Owner has thought of everything and the condo is just as advertised. The location is perfect for a short walk to the gondola and for walking to shopping and dinner in the evenings. Beds are very comfortable and enjoyed the tv in every room, but I spent most of my time in the chairs tucked up against the window enjoying the amazing view of the mountain. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to slopes and downtown. The condo was very clean and well decorated. The views from the condo were fantastic. We had 5 guys stay with one of 5 crashing on the couch. Only drawback was a very small frig and freezer, but given the restaurants in Aspen I doubt many folks utilize much refrigeration. Communication with owner was very good

We just stayed at this condo and WOW!! It is ski in ski out and it is situated right in between the Little Nell and St. Regis. The gondola is about a block away if you would rather walk to the gondola than ski there. All of the amazing shops and restaurants are all easy walking distance from the condo. It literally could not be a better location!! The condo itself is absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of space for my family of 5. Everything is really nice and upgraded and beds are super comfy. Loved it so much!

Loved the condo & location once we got settled in. There is no elevator, so be ready for stairs 3 floors + walk up to building from parking lot. If you ski Ajax, & there is snow/an intermediate skier, the unit is ski in/ski out to the gondola. Transp depot is a few blocks away for other mtns. (downhill there, but uphill afterward). You can walk everywhere in town! It was nice to have a parking spot just outside the condo if you don’t want to walk. Shared pool/hot tub was nice & short walk from condo there w/ towels. Only negative besides no elevator was lack of firewood. The condo has a beautiful fireplace. Wood was finally delivered by the Mgt co 1/2 into our trip. The condo is as advertised in photos. Will definitely consider renting this unit again.

Property was as it appears in the photos. The location is amazing with incredible views of not just Aspen mountain but also overlooking the town of Aspen and the surrounding valley. The decor is warm and inviting and the 3 bedrooms were perfect to accommodate our family of 5. Our only small complaint was that the unit had trouble getting to temp for most of our stay although it was a cold weekend and it stayed between 66-68 degrees most of the time so it was not a big issue. The host was very responsive and helpful. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

The location to downtown Aspen is outstanding. We really enjoyed the amenities offered inside the unit especially the well appointed kitchen and heated bathroom floors. The only thing that was not listed in the description that I would have liked to know is the unit is on the 3rd floor and you have to climb 61 steps to enter/exit the unit.
