The house sits on a wide canal- the view will take your breath away! The Beach is gorgeous with its beautiful expansive white soft sand and clear blue water. We have guests who come from all parts of the world to Shell here on the island. After a long "hard" day at the beach- it is nice to kick up your heels -relax on the patio (lounge furniture + umbrella included ofcourse)- sipping fresh margaritas - all while watching boats go by or the occasional dolphin.

What a property. 2nd visit and it won’t be the last. If you want a property close to the the beach and with an amazing view on to the canal then you won’t find better. Lovely house that is very well stocked. Not a bad word to stay. Lots of local wild life , this time off the dock we saw sting rays, dolphins and manatees. Can not wait to rebook and thanks again to Dana the owner for being so understanding when we had to cancel multiple times during COVID times!

Convenient to everything, walk to beach, Publix close by. Home is beautiful, clean and well stocked we had everything we needed. One of the nicest places I have ever stayed thru VRBO.

We had six in our party and not one complaint about anything… we rent beach house all the time and this is one of the nicest one we have rented… The house was fully stocked with anything we would need…. We were contacted twice during our stay to see if we needed anything… we would stay here in the future and have all ready talked about coming back next year…. Thank you for letting us use your beautiful home and pool we had a blast….

Great Stay - Awesome Home!
We stayed for a week in June, with temps in the 90's the entire time. The homes A/C kept up the entire time, and the pool definitely was nice to have on those hot days. Everything is as advertised, the home was immaculate, and we would stay here again.

Great Location
Enjoyed our stay the area was nice and the house was exactly as described. Everything you need for the beach is supplied and kitchen is stocked with all the utensils. Pool was nice and being able to fish off the dock was a nice perk. Would definitely recommend staying here

Great location and amenities.
Very nice property and location for my sister trip. We would definitely book again. It is nicely furnished with all the kitchen basics for onsite meal and beverage prep when desired. It’s a short walk to their beach and the owner has all the essentials needed for a day in the sun and sand. The pool and patio are very inviting and welcome after an afternoon on the beach.

Perfect family getaway!!!
We had such a great time at Harmony House! So close to the beach but the screened pool is a great bonus for those days you just don't have it in you.
Dana is very easy to work with and easy to reach. Actually she reached out to us a couple times to make sure everything was going well.

Excellent property and location!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Harmony House. The property was the perfect size. The short walk to the beautiful white sandy beach was easy. Thank you for providing the wagon, beach chairs and umbrella making our days on the beach enjoyable. The salt water pool was refreshing after a day at the beach too. Each morning we ate breakfast by the pool while watching fish and birds by the canal. This was everything I hoped it would be! Thank you for sharing your home.

Great vacation house
Perfect house for us & great South Island location. Across the street from the beach, pool was always warm & views of estero blvd and canal - jumping fish / pelicans frequently. Quiet street. House had pretty much everything we needed to cook at home. Beds were comfy- Knives in kitchen were actually sharp & I thought it was very nice that paper towel, TP, dish soap, foil etc were all provided as that stuff adds up at Publix! Owner was super responsive when we couldn’t get tv to work in one of the bedrooms. Would definitely stay here in the future if we come back again. The only negative was the 2 slice toaster didn’t toast hardly at all ( it took a while) might need replacing . Thank you!!

Great mud island canal home
Husband and I have rented at FMBEACH for 6+ years. This was certainly one of the nicest places we have stayed. Very clean, fully equipped with everything we could think of in kitchen, full complement of beach items also.

Mom's 90th Birthday Celbration
We rented this home to help my Mom, who lives in the area, celebrate her 90th birthday. It was perfect for that, the large dining room table allowed for a big family dinner. The screened in pool area was an awesome spot for us for gather with family and friends. The home was clean and very well stocked. Communication with the owner is very easy. Sad that we had to leave a night early due to incoming winter weather at home.We would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip.

Beautiful house! Had everything yoy need for a perfect vacation! Beach chairs, Beach toys, wagon, kitchen is well stocked, plenty of towels, beautiful pool, beautiful dock and perfect location! My husband and sons caught many different fish off the dock. Less than a five minute walk to the beach, shopping and great restaurants. The house was very clean and the owner had great communication and was very accommodating. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Family Vacation
The repairs and maintenance on the house you could tell were DIY. Not professionally done. Very outdated house. When we got there it wasn’t cleaned professionally. There was dirt on the floor when I walked in each room I vacuumed up. Also dust in each room cobwebs on the ceiling. When we walked into the garage it smelled like dog urine BAD. The doors didn’t shut properly. Right when you walk outside to the pool there was a constant water leaking from something on the roof. Some remodeling was nice but the quality and maintenance was low. The canal deck was awesome which was one of the updates. The kitchen was nice except the mismatch appliances. There was numerous interruptions with people coming to the house to do service work on the house that were unannounced visits. None of the TVs and DVD players were hooked up properly. Yes there was beach supplies you could use like chairs, beach toys, and wagon but no one kept up on them(old worn out). A little expensive for the quality of the house. But the canal we loved with the location and easy access to everything. The pool area was clean and nice. The overall I would give like 2 stars we actually left a day early.

Everything you need for your getaway is waiting for you. Attention to detail and needed basics are right there. Plenty of beach equipment complimentary in the garage.
Appliances are new and modern. Plenty of indoor space for dining in and the grill is a weber and in great shape.
Pool is clean and maintained. Dock deck is obviously brand new composite deck.
Landscaping is kept up. House was clean and Dana was extremely available and attentive.
I hate to give such a great review so I can come back again soon.

Beach close across the street but the kids liked sand key which is a short drive south.

Family Summer Fun
We had an awesome time during our stay! Dana was awesome and addressed everything timely and efficiently as needed. The pool was switched from chlorine to salt water and the screen was replaced all while we were enjoying our stay! None of this bothered us while enjoying the house! It was such a great experience that the whole family enjoyed!

There is not a single thing to criticize about this property. It had absolutely everything you need to make your vacation a blast. From kitchen utensils, to water toys, to a wagon to carry beach chairs, umbrellas and towels to the beach. The pool was wonderful and the short walk to the beach was great. Seriously everything was amazing! We’ll be back for sure.

The house was clean, the pool was a nice way for us to relax after a hot day and believe me it was super hot!! I tried to find something that would make my entire family happy. My husband and son enjoyed fishing in the canal. They caught a few catfish! We left behind our fishing pools for the next guests to enjoy! We saw a dolphin in the canal our second day there and then 2 manatees a couple days later! We enjoyed the sunsets from the backyard. We had daily visits from an Iguana and we watched the pelicans indulge on fish! Lots to see! It was extremely peaceful and quiet as most of the homes seemed empty but we appreciated the quietness! My daughter and I enjoyed the short walk to the beach both in the mornings and in the evenings. We all enjoyed the pool! The location is perfect as it is far enough away from all the crowds but close enough to get to Sanibel/Captiva for day trips! We enjoyed Charlie’s boat house and sunset beach for dinner both are in walking distance of house! Also, loved the rocking chairs that faced the pool area! My husband and I would sit there in the early mornings to drink our coffee! All in all a great relaxing family vacation! Thanks Dana!! PS. Can u tell me where u found those chairs?! Would love some for our front porch!

10 out of 10 family vacation!!
I traveled with my husband, 18 year old son and 21 year old daughter. This house did not disappoint! Everything was spotless, including the grill. The pool area is so relaxing to grill out by and take a dip. The house was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Loved having the washer and dryer in the attached garage, and speaking of... we couldn't have asked for any more beach supplies in that garage!! The wagon was a godsend, the chairs were fabulous, there was an umbrella and sand toys (for my big kids at heart). Everything we needed, we could find. The kitchen was well stocked with everything to prepare meals - even a thoughtful bag of ice was in the freezer when we arrived to use until the ice maker kicked in. So appreciated! A quick trip to the nearby Publix for groceries, and we were all set. The location is perfect. Not too far to beach access - an easy 5 minute walk, if that. We went down to Times Square one evening, which was fun, but were ready to get back to the solitude and serenity of the house. We loved going out on the dock and enjoying the peacefulness of the canal - weren't lucky enough to see any dolphin or manatees, but plenty of fish and a huge iguana who would sun himself on a deck across the way. Dana is the most conscientious and responsive owner we have ever dealt with. She even had an extra umbrella sent to the house just in case we'd need it. There was a small problem with a cloudy pool, and she was right on it with the pool guy. I would highly recommend this property and location to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Safe, easy, low key get away
This house was perfect for a low-key get away. It is a safe neighborhood with pool, grill, dock and quiet location.
The sunsets over the ocean are literally 2 blocks walk away. The kitchen has plenty of cookware and fully functional appliances.
Having a full sized washer and dryer always makes a beach vacation more magical.
Plenty of beach towels and chairs to borrow for the day.
Dana was very helpful when small issues came up. (AC needs wifi and had to plug it back in when it became loose…easy stuff).
This house is convenient between Publix and Fishtale Marina. It would be a long walk to downtown square- but we wanted to be off the beaten path. Movie theatre walking distance if you need AC evening activity.

Perfect Place!
Not sure where to even begin. The Harmony House hosted by Dana has a 4.9 star rating for a reason!
The house was absolutely perfect for our week in Fort Myers Beach. The location is beyond ideal for families looking for a getaway like we were. The walk to the beach was probably shorter than the actual walk from sand to water even! (Really, not at all far) Further down the shore from time square = less busy beach! Lots of restaurants, a 7 eleven & CVS just a few minutes walk from the house.
The house itself was beautiful. As many other reviews state it is fully stocked with whatever you could imagine needing/wanting for your vacation home near the beach. The pool was definitely the highlight. Gorgeous. In the garage there were plenty of pool toys/floats our kids utilized almost all of them. It was so nice to sit outside all hours of the day not having to worry about any pesky bugs with the lanai.
** one side note there is an outdoor shower! I have no idea how we missed it for the first 4 days of our trip, we used the hose just a few feet down from it to rinse off. Felt pretty ridiculous once we noticed it. Haha
As far as contact with Dana, I honestly didn’t have any issues getting in, or anything during our 7 night stay, so we were only in contact to let her know I arrived and when we were leaving, and she responded promptly and politely so I would probably guarantee had we had any concerns she would’ve been on it right away!
Highly, highly recommend this house to everyone! We felt so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay! If we plan (which is highly likely) another trip in the future I will definitely be looking this property up again! Thanks so much, Dana!

Great property to stay at
Very easy check in process. Dana is a very helpful owner and she gets back to very quickly if you have any questions or concerns. Property is located very close to the beach and just a short walk away. Chairs, umbrella, cooler and wagon are all provided which makes getting to the beach much easier. Property is located in a very quiet neighborhood but is still very close to everything including restaurants and outdoor activities. The private pool was great after a day at the beach plus the dock in the back gives you a view of the channel and we got lucky and saw manatees during our stay. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Fort Myers area.

Vacation
Our family was in search of a relaxing laid back vacation. This property allowed us that and more. The pool and outside area was amazing. The views were breath taking and we were able to enjoy the pool every afternoon. The property was a short easy walk to the beach, which was beautiful & not overly crowded. I guess the only negative is having to go to the other side of the island. The traffic was bad, but staying in other areas with a boardwalk area, it always is. Dana was very responsive to our questions & needs, & showed an interest in making our vacation as enjoyable as possible. Overall, we had a great experience & left relaxed!

Harmony House
The property was just perfect. Out of the crowded area of Fort Myers Beach ⛱ but still close enough to everything. On the canal with a very nice size pool. Made it a perfect quiet spot for the 2 of us. Well stocked and had everything you could need. Will hopefully be back again.

Great property, could use some updating & decor but was spacious. Beach access is further than we anticipated but not bad. Not a good location if your looking to visit time square a lot. Traffic to get there is horrific unless it’s morning. Well stocked home but definitely needs decent frying pans. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Perfect way to enjoy Fort Myers Beach!
We had a beautiful week in Fort Myers Beach! This is the perfect location if you are looking for an easy walk to the beach, a sunny, south-facing pool to soak in and access to all the busy fun Fort Myers and the surrounding areas have to offer, BUT no need to be in all that busy all the time! Our mornings were spent enjoying coffee on the sunny pool deck looking out at the canal where we did get to see dolphin:), taking walks through the neighborhood or taking a beach walk in search of shells. There is a farmer’s market only a few blocks away and we grabbed delicious fruits and veggies, an amazing Key Lime pie and other fun finds! Our afternoons were on the beach which is literally a 5 minute walk away or floating in the pool which warmed to 90 some days! And if you love a stop for a cocktail, The Outrigger tiki bar or Pinchers are on your way home from the beach! With the Covid pandemic and as we enjoy cooking and making meals at home, the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans and all you need for meal prep! Additional perks of the home were: comfortable beds, beach supplies, and enough space for 6 people to not feel they are on top of each other. The home is comfortable, not fancy, but has literally all you need for a great family vaca! And Dana was super easy to work with too!
