Upon arrival we were completely disgusted at the state of the unit. I am okay with dated finishings etc. but unclean facilities is totally unacceptable. This is ongoing unclean grime, not mess left from prior guests. Walls covered in grime, shower curtain had mold, every single surface was unclean. Dead bugs everywhere. Shower in primary room had little to no water pressure. Light bulbs were burnt out. The property manager was polite and attentive, but that doesn’t change the fact the property was in poor condition. We cleaned ourselves and made the most of our holiday time. We received a minimal refund of a cleaning fee, doesn’t come close to making up for the disappointment we experienced. Friends of ours stayed in another unit within the same building and it was night and day difference. Their unit was clean and comfortable.

We had a lovely time at this condo -- it was comfortable, convenient, and the pool is terrific. If I return to Tamarindo, I would love to stay at this condo again.

Enjoyed our stay and the condo met most of our needs. Some kitchen basics lacking (no casserole dishes or mixing bowls), dryer wasn't working, some wear and tear (rusting, stains, closet doors difficult to slide), and elevator malfunctions, but it didn't disturb our Pura Vida experience.

First this condo is in a perfect location to walk to the beach & restaurants throughout Tamarindo. The pool was nice in the afternoon after spending the morning at the beach. The condo had all the amenities that we needed for our 2 week stay. Some upgrades and minor maintenance are needed. Example all the doors, or anything that needs to slide, are stuck. The toilets need new flappers in order to flush properly. We will definitely come back for another visit. The addition of the humidifier was a plus. We had to empty the reservoir at least 3x a day. Please let future tenants know about this. Ron, our contact, was always available and responded to our text messages quickly. He also helped us with 3 awesome tours while there on our visit.

Condo was perfect location. Great view. It was a very nice condo and we really enjoyed our stay there. Only two minor negatives is that it could i’ve been a little cleaner when we arrived specifically the bathrooms and the TV remote does not work most of the time. But overall great place to stay we would stay again

We were looking for a laid back vacation and thought opting for a condo over a resort would allow for a little more freedom. We had the most amazing stay in Tamarindo. We looked into several condos, but decided on this one as we liked the two bedrooms (one for us and one for our two children), the large and enclosed balcony, the proximity to the beach (a must with kids) and the pool with the waterfall. We 100% made the right choice. The condo was exactly what we needed. It had everything we needed (lots of space, storage, basic kitchen supplies, linens including pool towels, even a small cooler and beach umbrella). Having two bathrooms was great. We loved the large balcony. Being enclosed kept the sun off it, which was a welcomed break from the heat. The unit was clean and the entire property was maintained very well. The pool is fantastic- lots of room and a sectioned off wadding area for littles. 24 hour security. Showers behind the waterfall for rising off from the beach. Walking distance to everything. So many amazing places to eat, shop and explore. There’s a small grocery store just steps away and we were able to get the basics for breakfasts/lunch and we went out for dinners. If you’re looking for surfing lessons or any excursions, everything is literally just steps away. The condo is off the street a bit, which helps with traffic and other noise. The pool closes at 9, and the waterfall is turned off before that, so evenings were quiet. The birds and howler monkeys might have you up early though! Communication with the owners was so great- before and during our stay. They were so helpful and accommodating. We booked our driver to and from the airport through them which was cheaper than the other prices we were quoted. The only thing that would have been useful to have was a toaster, but the kitchen had everything else and we made it work with a pan and the oven. We would 100% return to this condo unit and absolutely recommend it to others. Suitable for families, friends and couples of all ages. Really can’t say enough good things.

We had a great time at this property in Tamarindo. The water pressure was a little bit soft but still worked well. Having air conditioning was nice after a hot day of touring around. The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. The property managers were kind and accommodating and helped us out with the questions we had. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others also!

This has been an amazing week. We hate to leave. From the monkeys surrounding us in the trees to the wonderful restaurants and people it has been a most memorable vacation. We chose not to cook since it’s not really a gourmet kitchen, but eating out was such a treat, great food

Our family of 5 stayed here and loved it. The proximity to the beach and restaurants can’t be beat. Condo grounds and pool are gorgeous. Enjoyed coffee on the terrace each morning while I listened to the monkeys and tropical birds. I would recommend this place for families.

We enjoyed our time at the Sunrise Condo in Tamarindo. Chad and Audra communicated freely and quickly about some simple questions. The unit had an ocean view (condo is across the street from the beach) and shopping for groceries and souvenirs was local. We'd stay again!

Wonderful property with all the amenities as described. Perfect location so you can walk everywhere. View is beautiful and the AC was perfectly cold after a long day in the sun. My only complaint is there dishwasher is broken(won't drain) and we didn't know this until we're used it and it overflowed. Master toilet needs a new flapper as it sticks open when you flush. This was perfect for our family of 4 and we highly recommend.

We just returned from our 9 day stay at Sunrise #26 in Tamarindo. We could not have been happier with the accommodations. The bedrooms are comfortable and roomy! The kitchen has everything you need to make some quick meals like breakfast and lunch. We loved the covered patio. It has a view of the pool and a little bit of the ocean. It is a very comfortable and relaxing place to hang out and get a break from the sun. I loved the location of the condos. It is in the heart of Tamarindo so you can walk to everything, but set back just enough to be quiet at night. Audra and Chad were great to work with. They were very responsive from booking to completion of our stay. I highly recommend.

A perfect place to stay- great location to walk to the beach, pickup groceries, and to dine. Condo was exactly how describe - clean, fully equipped kitchen, and remarkable patio. Tamarindo has lots to offer - relax at beach or condo pool, take a tour (turtle nesting tour was our favorite) or try local dining experiences. Owner/manager was easy to work with and helped us secure transportation from airport. We will come back and rent again.

Great condo with plenty of room for a family of four. Condo is very clean and in the heart of Tamarindo directly across from the beach. Pool is fairly large with plenty of room for kids and adults to relax without being directly on top of each other. I have been to Costa Rica several times and would highly recommend this Condo to anyone visiting the Tamarindo area. Kevin

Location, location, location!

Location, location, location!

This was our second time to Tamarinda and the location of The Diria Condos does not get any better. You have the benefit of experiencing the lively vibe of Tamarindo, but when you return to the property, it's a peaceful oasis. Chad and Audra were always available with our concerns, or to answer any questions. If visiting The Diria I would highly recommend staying the 4th floor or higher, so you can enjoy the view of the ocean.

Estuve con mi familia 7 días hospedada en el condominio, nos encantó, estaba muy limpio y claro, el balcón es perfecto tiene vista al mar y a la preciosa piscina del complejo, el condominio esta muy bien equipado en el centro de Tamarindo, cerca de restaurantes, tiendas, supermercados y lo mejor, frente de la playa. We had a great time in Tamarindo, and the condo was great! Very comfortable and upscale. Worked great for my family of 5 (two college students, a high school student and us parents). The location was excellent, about 100 feet from a great beach and right in the center of town. The wi-fi, A/C and cable all worked great. The in-condo laundry was convenient, and the security people were conscientious and friendly. Chad and Audra were helpful and gracious.

The condo was perfect and the company was awesome! They assisted in booking our rental car for us and we're so kind and accommodating during our stay! My husband and I had a two bedroom all to ourselves but this place would comfortably fit 2 couples or a family. The location was perfect, right in downtown and right across from the beach. it was great to end our day at the pool each evening and although Tamariendo is very safe, it was nice to have the extra security at the condo for our rental car as well. When we return to Tamariendo we will definitely be staying here!
