About this house rental
Located in the heart of St. Andrews and **100 yards away from the Old Course**, 10 Pilmour Links is the place to be. Be it golf, sightseeing, visiting the University or just relaxing, it can't be beat. For golfers and historians, access to the 18th green/fairway and 1st tee of the Old Course, plus the Royal and Ancient Golf Club clubhouse are just 100 yards away via rear courtyard access and with the sea and beaches beyond. The sea, castle and cathedral ruins, shops, pubs, churches and fantastic restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. The Rusacks Hotel (which front Pilmour Links and the 18th fairway of the Old Course) is just a few doors down and the Dunvegan a few doors up.
With 5 bedrooms (3 en-suite) on three levels, large kitchen, spacious lounge and dining room, secure wireless internet, a printer (software available) and laundry facilities, the flat is all about comfort and luxury. Flat rental includes four bedrooms (an additional single bedroom is an owner lockout). The ground floor features the master suite with 12' ceilings, queen-size bed and en-suite, second large bedroom (non-en-suite) and laundry room. The main floor features a very spacious kitchen, lounge and dining room. Seating for 12 in the dining room and 10 in kitchen. Two en-suite bedrooms plus an owner's lockout bedroom are located on the top floor (one queen and two 6’ zip-link beds). All sheets and towels included plus hypo-allergenic pillows. Hanging closets in each bedroom, hair dryers and heated towel rails in each bathroom.
10 Pilmour really is within walking distance of the charming streets of the medieval downtown St. Andrews which boasts excellent restaurants and lively bars, scenic beaches (The West Sands beach where the Chariots of Fire was filmed and The East Sands beach near the harbour), the historic St. Andrews University, the Castle, Cathedral, museums, chapels, the rocky Kinkell Braes, St. Andrews Botanic Garden and the Fife Coastal Path (an exhilarating route for walkers and birdwatchers), just to name a few of remarkable sites that are so very easy to visit if you have an afternoon, evening or just a few minutes. For clay pigeon shooting and archery, enthusiasts should visit Cluny Clays near Kirkcaldy which is Fife’s largest outdoor activity venue. All this, not to mention the ancient architecture and so much more, make St. Andrews an unforgettable experience.
For branching out on those non-golfing days or for those who don’t play golf, 10 Pilmour is an excellent base for visiting the unique Fife coastal fishing villages (Crail, Anstruther, Pittenweem), distilleries and the northern country. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen are easily accessible by train or car. The only problem will be having enough time to fit it all in!
For history buffs, a visit to the Falkland Palace in the picturesque village of Falkland (a favourite country retreat for the Stuart monarchs, including Mary, Queen of Scots).
Another great Castle is Glamis Castle ancestral home of the Earls of Strathmore for over 600 years. Glamis is a living, breathing monument to Scottish hospitality; a place of enjoyment, reflection, laughter and wonder for all. The castle has witnessed more than 600 years of history so why not visit and delight in sharing the many stories, secrets and intriguing tales that surround it. If you fancy some local theatre, check out what’s on at the Byre Theatre in Abbey Street.
Tesco supermarket is on the high street (5 minute walk) and Morrison’s (a large supermarket) is just a 5 minute drive so you can fill your refrigerator for breakfast and dinner or for snacks.
Upon your arrival you will find the kitchen stocked with breakfast foods and your rooms with water and chocolates.

Having stayed in many VRBO properties over the years, 10 Pilmour Links is among the very best. The responsiveness from Roslyn was unparalleled among property managers. The apartment is perfectly located in St. Andrews for golf or anything else. It was immaculately, clean, appliances were new, kitchen remodeled, beds comfortable, and great Wi-Fi. The apartment has a very comfortable living room in which to gather. It even has a small office perfect for a teleconference. I cannot imagine a better place to stay in St. Andrews.

This property is fantastic for a golf vacation in St. Andrews! The 4 bedrooms, 4 baths is perfect and the kitchen and living area are perfect. Can't beat the location, with easy walks to everything in St. Andrews.

This was a fantastic stay all around for our golfing week in St. Andrews. The townhouse was elegant and certainly the nicest place I have stayed in St. Andrews, and the bed was the most comfortable I have slept in anywhere in the world. It is well appointed and well stocked, and its convince to the town and the 18th green on the Old via the back alley is suburb. Ros was a great host, and the stay went flawlessly.

A typical travel and stay these days are filled with frustrations from airline cancellations to poor accommodations. Our experience with the property in StAndrews could not be better.Everyting was well done with property cleanliness and space for each person. The kitchen was clean and ready.I wish all stays could be as good as this was. Everyone in our group raved about the property. If the rating went to ten stars that what I would have rated it. Thanks for a wonderful time and I hope to come back.

The property was better than we imagined. The rooms are huge, ceilings high, and the location couldn't be better. The home was stocked with essentials for our stay and we're already planning for the next time we could stay there. Can't recommend it highly enough.

this is at least the fourth time I’ve rented this house for a golf trip with myself and three friends. I can tell you it is the best location in St. Andrews. not only are you steps away from the old course but you are right beside Russacks, which has 18-one of the best restaurants in town. and the views from 18 are stunning. We were fortunate enough to have a perfectly clear day with a sunset that was absolutely phenomenal as our final evening in town. Roslyn is great to work with and I will be renting this house again.

We could not have asked for a better place for our stay in St. Andrews! The location
was absolutely perfect for a golfing trip and the flat itself was great for our group. It had plenty of space, comfortable furniture, and great decor. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful home for us on this epic trip!

Best in St Andrews!
We've stayed in several St Andrews rental homes and it's hard to imagine it gets much better than this! Perfect location, tons of room, comfortable airy high-ceiling living room, well equipped throughout. As noted by others, the breakfast items, cold beer and mini bar are very appreciated additions.. Good communications with both Rosalyn and Angie. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous Stay a Stone's Throw from 18th Green at St. Andrews!
Thank you so much Roslyn for accommodating us with our two postponed visits due to Covid! This was our second stay and we will definitely return to #10 Pilmour Links if available for our next trip. We were four friends on a golfing trip to Scotland - the home is perfectly set up for this purpose with ensuite bathrooms, large kitchen and large, comfortable living room. The home can easily handle a large group as well. You can exit the rear of the home to a small walking path and be on the 18th green at St Andrews in under a minute or, visit the Claret Jug just as quickly. Furnishings are of the highest quality and the home was fully-stocked with a starting supply of food and drink as well as spices, supplies, utensils, etc. to make cooking a pleasure. Thank you for being such a wonderful host and making it the trip of a lifetime for all of us. Warm Regards, Vance and friends

Awesome 5 Star Stay!
Incredible Location. Myself and four other gents thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lovely home. The owner/manager went the extra mile in every possible way - fully loaded kitchen, Qtips in every bathroom, cold beer in the fridge upon arrival, etc. This rental is perfect in every possible way and the location is just Top Notch. Do yourself a favor and stay here for your next trip to St Andrews!

Beyond perfect
Seven years after staying at 10 Pilmour when we dropped our daughter off at the University, we returned to stay there with her entire bridal party for her wedding in St. Andrews. I would never have thought the house could have been improved upon, but it was even more beautiful and practical. From he food and drink that awaited us when we arrived Sunday evening, to the high speed Wi-Fi, every possible need was met. It is a lovely home, large enough to easily handle my wife and me, the bride and 5 bridesmaids! The location is the best in St. Andrews, a ridiculously easy walk to everywhere you want to go. There is a beautiful rear patio, with a door to a great little alley that brings you right out on to the 18th hole of the Old Course. I can't say enough about how easy and comfortable it is to deal with Ros, whose professionalism makes renting this house so pleasant. I can not recommend this house any more highly, just as I can't wait to go back someday.

A hidden gem at st andrews
10 Pilmour Links is a very special property and proved the icing on the cake for our group of four on a fortnight golfing trip to Scotland. Not one negative comment from anyone in the entire time we were there. We used it as our base and stayed a couple of nights in hotels when we ventured to the East and West coasts to play courses there.
From booking to departure everything was easy and the facilities exceptional. We have been on many golf trips and given location, facilities and standards this house beats them all

Lovely accommodations
Two-time renter here. 10 Pilmour Links is everything a group of golfers needs for a visit to the Home of Golf. The spacious bedrooms are furnished with extremely comfortable beds and plenty of closets and armoires to stow your clothes. Most have easy chairs for additional lounging. Trust me-these are some of the biggest bedrooms you are going to find in Scotland. All but 1 have en-suite bathrooms which are spacious as well, with plenty of hot water availability for showers. The showers are stocked with shampoo and body wash. The living area is huge and very comfortable-I especially enjoyed the large bowl of chocolate sweets on the living room table! The kitchen is quite large with a table that can easily sit 4-6 people. Upon arrival we found the fridge stocked with eggs, sausages, bacon, milk, bread and a 6 pack of Tennets. There is also a good stock of tea and coffee as well as bottled water. All needed appliances are there-microwave, toaster, electric kettle, dishwasher etc. The washer and dryer work great and laundry detergent was provided. Wifi is available and fast. One of the best features of 10 Pilmour is its location. You will be literally 1 minute away from the Old Course. Tesco is a 5 minute walk. There are multiple great restaurants within a 10 minute walk. We scheduled our trip this year around the availability of 10 Pilmour Links-and I will do so again next trip. One more thing-Rosalyn is great to work with. She is very responsive and makes every effort to ensure you will have an a enjoyable, trouble-free stay at 10 Pilmour Links. I highly recommend 10 Pilmour Links-you won’t be sorry!

Our entire group really enjoyed staying here. The layout is nice, it is well stocked and beds and bathrooms are well above average compared to other similar accommodations. Well done.If you are a golfer the location could not be any more ideal as evidenced by the number of rounds I played and the amount I spent in the golf shops a short walk away.

Not sure there is a better place situated for golf at the Old and New Courses!
We had 6 guys and 10 Pilmour was perfect! Plenty of bedrooms, kitchen, and gathering space. Walk out the back through a stone wall tunnel and you are on the road next to 18 green at the Old course!! I would highly recommend staying here.

Location perfect and warm comfort
Just stayed for 5 nights with golf buddies. Great location ... 2 minutes from old course tee, 1 minute from Dunveegan and everything is walking distance. The flat was filled with everything we needed except adaptable American phone chargers but that was easily remedied. Cannot recommend this enough!

Very nice flat in a great location
This flat was a great home base for myself and 3 golf buddies. This isn't your typical flat/hotel with tiny bedrooms-the 4 bedrooms are huge. Each of the bedrooms was well appointed with comfortable beds, dressers and vanities where you can hang clothes. I stayed in the room that did not have an ensuite bathroom, but that was no problem at all. My bathroom was located just up a short flight of stairs so the convenience factor was still there. We cooked our own breakfast every morning and the kitchen was large and adequately stocked with pots, pans, etc. We appreciated the fact that there were basic food supplies onhand upon our arrival (bacon, sausages, eggs, milk, soft drinks, beer, bread, butter, etc.). There is a Tesco a couple of blocks away that makes it easy to pickup groceries if needed. Also it was nice to have shampoo and body wash in the showers so we didn't have to worry about bringing that with us or running to the store as soon as we got to town. We utilized the washer and dryer which is a luxury you won't have in a hotel. Ros is a great owner-she even had a stocked bar and a nice candy dish filled with chocolates (which I ate way too many of). She was very accessible during the rental process and while we were there if needed. It's really cool to be able to walk through the back alley to the Old Course (it takes about 45 seconds). Also parking was very easy-we had a fairly large rental van and were able to park directly in front of the flat almost every day-the days we couldn't we parked around the corner along the street. I would highly recommend this flat and will most likely rent it again next time in St. A.

Best Place to Stay in St Andrews!!
This is our second time staying at the property. The location is unbeatable if you are a golfer since you just have to walk out the back door and alley to the 18th green at the old course. Everything inside is well maintained and the setup is great for 6 to 8 golfers. Plenty of room to relax after playing a round at one of the courses.

It was a wonderful place to spend 5 nights in St Andrews. Well located. Well provisioned. Clean. A problem arose and the contact was there quickly. We'd come back in a second.

Fantastic property
You could not ask for more in a St. Andrews rental. The house is spectacular - the photos hardly do it justice. We had a three-generation family group traveling to St. Andrews for a graduation and had plenty of room for everyone. Meal prep was easy in the very well-equipped and large kitchen with a table that accommodated all of us. Similarly the living-dining area offered more than adequate seating both for meals and for time together in the evening. The bedrooms are incredibly quiet and comfortable - and the bathrooms spotless. The location is hard to beat - a short walk to everything from the Old Course to local shops, pubs, and restaurants.

Impossible to Fault
Ideal accommodation for 4 couples, each having access to their own bathrooms. Lots of storage/hanging space to be able to unpack and settle in for the week. Lovely south facing lounge dining area for pre-dinner drinks.
Kitchen facilities were all one could ask for, and the the stocked fridge was very welcome after our plane was delayed and we were struggling to do any shopping before our dinner engagement.
Communication with management was always efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this apartment for its quality and convenience and, as a regular visitor, will hopefully stay there again next year.
Being the week of the US Open Tennis and Barclays Golf, it would have been great to be able to have access to this on Sky....but you can't have everything!

Fabulous home and great location
This home was fantastic! There was plenty of room, comfortable beds, nice living room and fully stocked kitchen. It is right on the Old Course but is within walking distance of everything in St. Andrews as well.
Communication with the management was excellent and everything went smoothly.
I would definitely stay here again!
