Fab location . Clean and comfortable rooms
Sky didn’t work in our room ( old Tom morris suite) which was annoying as I wanted to watch the final round of the Masters but couldn’t .
4.3
Location was superb overlooking the beach
Weatherwise it was extremely windy during my stay but the hotel have no control over the weather

Hotel du Vin is centrally located with comfortable cosy rooms .
Excellent breakfast .

Nothing we didn’t like

the staff were great and a credit to the hotel. A warm welcome and everything was presented to a high standard. we had a front room overlooking the sea and was only a few minutes from the beach
A couple of cracked tiles in shower but nothing else of note
4.3
Breakfast was patchy but potentially great when it wasn’t busy.
Staff were all fabulous.
Room was small and a bit dark, small bathroom.

Fantastic location excellent service, food and room
Very expensive and room a little noisy above function room. They were aware it was for my 40th birthday weekend but hotel didn’t go that extra mile and do something for me like and upgrade of room or a drink on the house. Little details that make the difference.

Breakfast was amazing and the bed was so soft and large and comfortable. The shower was HUGE and amazing and the towel warmer was delightful.
Our stay was amazing!
4.3
There was a function on downstairs and the music was very loud but stopped at midnight

The hotel was stunning and the staff were attentive. We checked in late as our flight was late and the night staff member seemed to be incredibly put out by this which we thought was a bit off putting. The female receptionist the next morning definitely made up for this along with the other gentleman that checked us out! Overall great place
There was a dog staying in the hotel who continued to bark the whole stay, the owner didn’t attempt to stop him either
4.3
Excellent choice and beautifully prepared food.

The hotel really is dog friendly. The bed and bowl in our room, treats at reception and them knowing the dog’s name on arrival was a touch of class.
The hotel’s decor is superb, high quality materials and the beds are very comfortable.
Our air con/ heating system was stuck on 21C which left us with a dry cough in the night as we could not turn this off or down ourselves.
Unfortunately a lie-in was off the cards as works were carried out in the room across from ours with banging and slamming from 8.30am. A wee heads up or warning would have been appreciated.

great position
corridors a bit old fashioned and narrow

Excellent room, we stayed in the Young Tom Morriss suite on New Years Eve, a great room, outstanding view and comfortable setting. Check-in was seamless and breakfast in the morning was terrific. Great access to local bars, restaurants and surrounding area, equally the hotel had a nice bar and relaxing area, highly recommend.
Nothing to note, everything went great.
4.3
Lovely hotel and staff, great rooms and a very nice bar.
Fantastic breakfast. You can step out side and go left or right for a great walk along the beach.
Your also just a minute or two away from North Street were you will find all the restaurants and shopes.

Cannot speak highly enough of this hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it! The hotel is well situated, the attractions are within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is well decorated/maintained and the staff were excellent, everyone we dealt with was very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely hotel. Very stylish. Great staff that were very attentive and couldn't have been nicer with our dogs. Really good that such a nice hotel welcomes dogs. Location is about as good as you get in St Andrews.
4.3
The Breakfasts were very good , as was the service. Our room was very poorly lit - there ARE many light bulbs, but they do not give sufficient light. We saw other suites and we were unlucky with ours. Two massive chairs in window, and no room for us to invite our friends who were also staying in the hotel, to join us pre dinner. We had to go to their room. They had so much more - they could have seated 4 more people. Our room was poorly appointed and we would never return to that suite.
Very poor lighting in dining room at night. We each had to use the torch on our mobile phones, to read menu.
