Property was great. Too far from supermarkets. Green flies spoiled time at Re id State Park.

Ann’s cottage was very clean and comfortable for our family. The cottage is bright and welcoming! The deck was great for gatherings with wonderful views of Fort Popham and Honeywell Beach. Reid State Park is very close by as well as Popham. First Beach down the road is also a nice little beach for morning or evening walks. Ann was a great host who was accommodating and great with communication! Thank you for a wonderful week!

This place is the perfect Maine getaway for a family. Our family of 6 stayed here and everything we could think about needing was included, along with a gorgeous view and beach. We did lots of day trips to the nearby towns, all under an hour drive. A true gem!

Nicely appointed cottage. A bit remote though and water use was an issue. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. The house had everything you could want and more.

Owner very easy to work with. Lovely home walking distance from a great beach. Was great to have the passes for Reid State Park. Such a wonderful spot!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Bay Point Annie’s! The property was impeccably clean and set up just so for all our needs, and the short walk to the sandy private beach was a big added bonus. It was a perfect anchor for us to enjoy all Midcoast Maine has to offer!

We really enjoyed our time in the Georgetown area. The cottage was well appointed with all the modern conveniences. The owner was easy to work with and promptly answered our questions. Would recommend this cottage as a great spot to explore this part of Maine's coast.

We had a very relaxing vacation at this cottage in Bay Point. The house was clean and beautiful and had all the amenities needed. The property sits in a charming little seaside community with views of the water and lovely breezes. It is just down the street from a very nice private beach, and even though some of the best beaches in Maine are just a short drive away we enjoyed this nearby little beach just as much. Great vacation, we hope to return.

Great memories that will last a life time.
The property was wonderful. It was clean and made us feel like home. Many memories were made. My grandson caught his first fish at the private beach, it was so beautiful hearing the neighbors cheering for him. Very friendly beach. The seals also came to visit it was awesome. Beautiful vacation!

Family Vacation
We stayed here for a week with our son before he goes off to college. We had a wonderful time.
Property is very clean, modern and spacious. Bay Point is very quiet and beutifull. Although we didn't use the private beach we went to Popham beach and Reid State park multiple times with the car pass that Annie provided. Would highly recommend this property.

A Nice Vacation Getaway
We had never been up to the Georgetown area before so, it was a nice experience. The house was set up nicely and it was clean. Loved the wrap around porch, too.
We kept ourselves busy by visiting all the local points of interest over the week. Such a beautiful location.
The only struggle we had was the Wi-Fi was sketchy which made it hard to watch movies.
Otherwise, a terrific stay at this house.
It made me think of retiring up there at some point!

Bay Point Let Down
Description of property did not mention there was a "parking lot" for neighboring cottages on the lawn next to the house as well as parking spots literally behind the house - open the bathroom window and you could touch vehicles. People coming and going at all hours really detracted from the relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for on our vacation. Description also neglected to mention the upstairs bedroom doesn't have a door, rather a curtain to pull closed. Dishwasher and washer/dryer were nice amenities. Took advantage of the provided Maine State Park pass. Sadly are not interested in renting this property again.

Wonderful Vacation
Our stay at Baypoint Annie’s did not disappoint! The house was well stocked and maintained. We would certainly return and wish there were more vacation rentals that made relaxing this easy!

Good for quiet. Private beach a bit of a let down and the tv in the main room didn’t work well. Kept
Beautiful property and view. Not much in Bath to do. Reid state park is really nice and so is popham beach. Can’t say enough about how nice the house was.

Perfect Getaway
Our family had the most wonderful stay at Bay Point Annie’s! The house is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean view and had everything we needed. The location is perfect - a quiet little neighborhood with views of Popham from the large deck perfect for enjoying this amazing location. We enjoyed grilling for dinner and eating out on the deck and loved the gas fireplace on the deck in the evenings. The lawn was great for games and the private beach was a quick walk away and ideal for easy beach trips when we didn’t feel like climbing in the car. The kids loved their room (the Xbox was a fun surprise) and the loft bedroom upstairs was a lovely sanctuary for my husband and I. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful!
What a special place! Annie’s place is beautiful inside and out. We spent time at the beach most everyday, and there was rarely anyone else there . . . it’s much larger than it appears in the pictures and is just wonderful! When the weather wasn’t cooperating there were plenty of games, puzzles and movies available for entertainment. And that deck! Annie is a great host. If we had any questions, she was just a quick text away and always returned a quick response. Thank you Annie for sharing your little piece of heaven!

Good getaway in Georgetown, ME
My family had a very comfortable stay for a week in Ann's cottage. This is a well furnished, compact house in Georgetown, about 20 minutes away from Reid State Park. The cottage was impeccably clean, and Ann was always helpful and prompt in answering questions. We appreciated the state park pass that allowed us to go to the Reid State Park and Popham beach multiple times.
Although at the end of Bay Point Road, the cottage is flanked by neighboring houses on all sides. If you are out on day trips most of the day, or completely indoors, this is not a concern. But guests should know that they won't have privacy nor direct views of the water if they are out on the porch or garden. It is, however, a quiet neighborhood.
This is a good getaway spot for a small family. Thank you, Ann, for your hospitality!

Beautiful views in a unique location
We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Bay Point Annies. The host was super responsive and the house had everything we needed- even a state parks pass and lawn games. The private beach was perfect and the fall colors and sunset views from the deck were such a bonus. It was hard to leave!

Perfect vacation get-away.
The property is well prepared for our arrival. No short cuts for providing a great experience. We enjoyed the unexpected park pass that provided free access to the nearby state beaches. Loved it and will come back. My son and family that visited plan to rent on their own soon too. Thank you for sharing this great property with others!

Tranquil quiet and peaceful
Amazing property in a great location. All essentials where there and the Bbq was good with the last of the summer sun. The house is clean not overlooked and spacious. It looks right out onto the river and sea and is a short walk from a quiet private beach or a short drive to Reed State Park. Was a perfect base to visit family and the wider region. The sunset was amazing and you were never to far from a local store for those essentials. I would love to go back.

Great stay!
We had a wonderful time staying here! The beach that is within walking distance had tons of sea glass and my daughter enjoyed visiting it 2 or 3 times a day.
My favorite part of the house is the deck and the fireplace. I highly recommend staying here.

Clean and cozy cottage
We loved our stay at this cottage. The place is very clean and has plenty of comfortable furniture. The washing machine was key for rinsing our sandy suits from the beach. Also so wonderful to have a parks pass so we could explore all of the beaches and lakes around us.
Our only criticism is that the house has very little privacy in the outdoor spaces. There are no trees or shrubs in the yard and the house is in a triangular corner lot, so we really didn’t feel comfortable hanging out on the lawn or porch, we are private people. Also the mosquitos were brutal.
But we spent most of our time exploring this gorgeous part of Maine, eating lobster rolls and body surfing, so it didn’t cramp our style too much, just something for people to know!
Also don’t worry about the WiFi issue- there is 3G cell service so you can get your fix if you need to!

Great property
Well we are back home in Florida. Back to the old grind. Thank you so much Annie for opening your wonderful home to us. This is the perfect location. No matter which direction you travel there are little jewel of towns to visit. And well worth the drive. Pophams beach was our main reason for this location. Don’t skip it. The house was well stocked and very charming. We spotted deer almost every day and were treated to sightings of bald eagles and their juveniles. Even the general store had great food. The lobsta rolls are at least my idea of heaven. If you are going to Red:s in Wicasett my advice go around 5 pm not morning or after noon. Collecting sea glass was fun and one of my favorite pastimes. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and being so flexible and available. We loved our stay.

Great place for a family getaway
This was the first VRBO vacation that my family has done and it was great. I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit the coast of Maine.

Great Bay Point Home!
Bay Point Annie’s was a great home for our vacation on Georgetown Island. Everything was clean, comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals during our week stay. The beach chairs and wagon were a plus! The non-potable water in most faucets was a bit off-putting for guests not expecting this, but the water quality issue is clearly explained in the listing. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting the coast near Bath/Brunswick. Thanks to the owner for managing this home so well.

Excellent location
This home is very clean and very well equipped. Beautiful waterfront visible from the house and the deck. I highly recommend it as an ideal spot for a retreat from the frantic pace so many people live and work in these days. A bit of a drive to shopping and tourist spots, but the scenery along the way, especially in the fall, makes it worthwhile. You'll enjoy privacy and convenience in this lovely home.

A perfect slice of Maine
Our family of six loved staying in this cozy and immaculately clean beach house! The inside and outside spaces were relaxing and comfortable. It is located on a quiet end of a beautiful woodsy road with a lovely view of Fort Popham. The kids loved walking down to the little beach only a short walk away and finding beach glass and drawing pictures of the view. Having a washer and dryer and dishwasher was a must for our large family and
they worked perfectly and were life savers! Things to know: bring bug spray as this is Maine and no matter where you are you may need it (but we used the deet-free kind and were fine so its not crazy!) This place was great enough to even provide wood for the fire pit and smores sticks! There is a great little country store up the road about 7 minutes and they have a good supply of things you may need (one thing I love about Maine that out-of-stater's may not know: you can buy wine at ANY small town store!!! so there are never any worries about having to fidn the closest liquor store, and its cheaper) There was a lovely breeze every night that kept us cool and we enjoyed two fires in the fire pit with enough chairs for all of us! Just a short drive to Reid state park for fantastic waves! and only a 40 minute drive to Popham beach for a walk to the island, hermit crab catching and building with driftwood (as well as more waves). Only a short 50 minute ride to Boothbay Harbor for delicious seafood and ice cream and cute shops on our one slightly overcast day. This was the best family vacation we have ever had and the kids cannot wait to come back!

Well kept, great view, close to the beach.
When choosing a house to rent, I wanted a place that was close to the beach, but also roomy enough for rainy days. This cottage was perfect. The cottage had a wagon for the beach, games for the kids, DVDs, everything we needed. On sunny days we walked to the beach. The kids swam, found sea glass, we even had a visit from a seal! Reid State Park is amazing, we visited 3 times using the pass provided. And when it rained, there was enough room for my kids to play in their bedroom or the living room. Highly recommend!

A home away from home
very clean, a welcome note and stonewell kitchen pancake mix and real maple syrup jug and all the fixings for smores to make out on the fire pit. right by the bay, beach 5 min. walk, movies to watch, 500 piece puzzle , didnt have to pack towels & linens. washer & dryer, dish washer, and food to make and spices to cook lobster or whatever, house supplies were perfect, would recommend this house to any family, couples, whoever! Thank-you Annie for making the house so special! Just wanted to add the sunrise & sunsets were breath taking!

Beautiful location and very well-appointed cottage. A truly magical spot!
Bay Point Annies is a beautiful cottage with all needed amenities — and a view of the water both inside the house and outside on the lovely deck. Walking distance to the beach with a seasonal pass to the local state park included, too. And we were greeted with the makings for s’mores :) All in all, we loved our stay there.

An absolute gem in every way
As a family of five coming from Ireland we we're thrilled by our experience at Annie's. Beautiful property and everything you could have wanted. We even had Scrabble for the one wet day which caused arguments but that's our fault! The beds were comfy and the views sensational. Obviously we Irish taste better than Americans as the mosquitoes had a field day in the evenings splash on that deet. No wifi at the house but you'll visit the Georgetown store every day so you can catch up on essentials. Tv, Xbox and DVDs all amused though. Reid state park which Annie supplies a pass for has two lovely beaches and is 15 minutes in my over sized rental car. The house is spotless and is so well equipped you want for nothing. I would recommend this place to all friends and family. Thanks Annie 😁😁😁

So relaxing and beutiful!
This cottage is in a great spot so beautiful no matter which window you look out of. It was like being on an island far away. A perfect breeze on the unseasonally warm days. Quiet and did I mention relaxing if you are looking to unplug with all of teh comforts this is it. No internet, limited TV so perfect. The views amazing and the smell and sounds of the ocean.
Of course I stopped at teh store and forgot a couple of things but no wrroy, it was there at the house extra condiments and spices that one may forget, so nice not to have to run to the store again. smiling The beds all had those wonderfull bedbugs cover on the mattress's and boxsprings. (trust me after staying at a place in Bar Harbor that had bed bugs this season I was grateful to see these). Everyone thins was clean and so homey. Perfect stay!!!!!! I will definately keep this in mind for the furture.

Ideal location and well-appointed
The house is in an enviable location, with spectacular views of Fort Popham and the northern reaches of the Popham sands, as well as sunsets across the channel; with a small local beach right nearby, and plenty of other amenities (including modern ones) inside, the house has everything one might want for a coastal getaway. Our week at Bay Point was a wonderful summer experience.
