Fabulous first time visit to Stuart and stay in Bruce and Kim’s adorable artsy apartment located in a charming historic neighborhood. Although it is very small, their great attention to detail and use of space made it comfortable for our one week vacation. Morning coffee on the spacious balcony was a wonderful way to start the day. We loved that it was a short walk to downtown and a quick drive to the beach. Appreciated Bruce and Kim’s warm hospitality and helpful recommendations. Special spot, we will definitely return!!!

Such a charming property in historic downtown Stuart. An easy walk to lots of good restaurants, shops, the Lyric Theater, and the beautiful Riverwalk. The upstairs was perfect for us - a cozy apartment with awesome outdoor deck space surrounded by mature tropical foliage. Such a good vibe! Kim and Bruce were great to work with. Can't wait to go back next year!

Stayed for nearly 2 weeks to get the feel of Stuart . Location was perfect - walk to everything : downtown shops, bars and restaurants. The space was as advertised - attic apartment, very well appointed, clean as a whistle, very comfortable. Bruce, the owner, was great - saw him several times out and about as well as at the house - very amenable, informed and friendly. Highly recommend!

Close to restaurants, this spot was convenient for our firefighter world competition. Being the finished top portion of a house it required both window air conditioners and a fan going most of the time, so noise was an issue. Also very close to railway tracks so train whistles going throughout the night.

We were visiting nearby family so that was great. This loft apartment was awesome! Described completely accurately by the listing. Artistic touches were beautiful! This is the MOST clean rental/place ever!!! which was so nice & greatly appreciated. Located near town & in a quiet area. The owner was super quick to respond even though out of town. We would love to stay here again & highly recommend it!

Loved this place. Super good location and such a funky place to stay. Loved the colors, stained glass windows, and layout. Had everything we needed for our stay. Lots of nearby restaurants, shopping, and walking opportunities. Saw an abundance of wildlife from leatherback turtles to manatees. Farmers' market on Sunday was fun as well. Host was helpful but not imposing. Want to come back again!

This was our first time visiting this area. Being just the two of us and the fact our needs are simple Bruce’s apartment checked every box.
Our first impression was the cleanliness which was spotless. Regarding the appearance, it is a small space. We only stayed 6 nights however since we brought our own vehicle and our next stop was a week in Key West we had 2 weeks worth of clothes. We had no problem stashing it all away and making ourselves at home.
On the subject of Key West. The house and neighborhood could easily fit in Old Town Key West. Combined with the walking vicinity to downtown Stuart make this a very attractive town.
Bruce is terrific to work with, hospitable and unobtrusive. He and his wife live on property so are there for any issues or to shoot the breeze.
We hope to start making more regular visits to this charming property and area.

While small, this property is ingeniously laid out! Every detail is covered--nothing is forgotten. Clean and well maintained. Bruce and Kim are very responsive to any request. Location is the absolute BEST of the best for being within easy walking distance to downtown Stuart. 10 minute drive to the beach--what more could you ask for? Highly recommend this cute little place. Hope to return.

Super Cute
This small apartment has everything you need to live like home! Every inch is used in the most efficient way. The porch is a great place for morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset, quiet and secluded. Hosts are friendly and relaxed, his recommendations for restaurants were spot on. Would love stay there again.

Adorable
Easy access to main roads and attractions in Stuart. We have 4 generations that have lived in Stuart over the years and I never realized how adorable California Ave and the neighborhood were. Wish I could find a place of my own in the neighborhood.

Excellent Place in Historic Downtown Stuart
Everything was perfect: the location (can walk to all the restaurants and shops in historic downtown Stuart, drive to beaches, and Federal highway with it’s abundance of stores is also nearby); the owners are very nice; there is a beautiful outdoor deck; you have everything you need in a cozy setting!

The Absolute BEST
I’m a south Floridian native who returns often to visit family & friends, I’ve stayed at Bruce & Kim’s properties multiple times (both upstairs & down), and I wouldn’t ever consider staying anywhere else. They are the kindest, most responsive owners I have encountered during extensive stays at various locations, & my family of 3 travels frequently. Their space is consistently immaculate & welcoming! Kim is a master gardener & artist who keeps the property looking gorgeous during every season; it is literally a tropical paradise. Bruce can tell you anything you’d like to know about boating or the best hideaways to check out around the area & beyond. Everything you need is provided for aa awesome getaway. The property itself is located ideally in downtown Stuart & has amazing restaurants, waterway views, & even awesome playgrounds to offer, all within walking distance. Stay with them & thank me later; you’ll be glad you did!!

Coming home!
Moved away six years ago and this spot was great to reminisce our home town. Beautiful gardens and a historic home couldn’t have been a better setting. Easy walking to great restaurants, shops and live music.
