Loved it

We had a great time and really enjoyed the house. It met all of our needs with such a big group. suggestions for improvements: have at least two bath towels for each guest, provide better instructions on how to set the pool from pool to spa mode, figure out why the dishwasher on the second floor is so hard to get started and fix it, or leave better instructions for it. The pool was cloudy for most of our trip despite calling twice about it. Pool was also not cleaned between the last guests and us. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and loved the house.

We loved our stay. The house and location were beautiful!

The house had a number of concerning issues. Location was great with the beach access. On the surface was very nice, but we found 2 cockroaches in the basement level bed (I let mgmt know, but we had toddlers that I didn't want exposed to the spray), pool had algae (some filter was broken?and they tried to fix it on the 2nd to last day), LOTS of lightbulbs out, terrible pots and pans, ( we bought and left one aluminum pan & left it), dirt under sofas, shower wall slimy in one bathroom, cheaply made furniture, lack of kitchen towels (mgt did bring some/they use white bath hand towels?), gas grill tank empty (mgmt did fill our tank the next morning), there were pans and a dish strainer in a closet & junk in the garage. I would have vacuumed had there been a decent one to use (one was broken & the other stuffed with dust & dirt), the one broom I found was a cheap straw one, there was also some ratty outdoor furniture that needed to be thrown out. The owners need to come and weed through all of the scratched up teflon pots, pans, throw out crappy outdoor furniture and go through the closets and garage. I am a stickler for cleanliness and overall the floors and bathrooms were clean on arrival, however, it was the "hidden" stuff that was dirty...inside drawers, some closets, junk around. Also, the cockroaches need to be taken care of. Fortunately, my mother in law didn't come so my daughter and her husband could move out of the basement bedroom to the main floor.

Very nice accommodations, and well-maintained. Weather was terrible so we could not enjoy pool or outdoor seating. There was not adequate seating in the main room for our group of 9. Dining room chairs need silicone pads on the legs to make getting up easier and less noisy. We were given an incorrect front door code (it was quickly corrected).

Great view on the main and upper level. Nice pool table. Pool and spa with a nice walk over to the beach. Pleasant experience, the entire family enjoy the house. Beds were a bit on the hard side and lots of stairs, but the elevator was useful and there's a nice patch of grass behind the pool for the pups.

Great! Great home for a Family Vacation!

The house had everything we needed including beach, chairs, and a tent for the beach. The elevator was great for my parents who have trouble getting up and downstairs. Pool was perfect size for our group and the beach was only a few steps away. Larger community pool is right next-door, and a kid friendly pool with bar and grill right across the street. Would definitely recommend this property.

We had a great week. Enjoyed the pool and beach, the second floor balcony had an incredible view of the oceanfront. One small complaint you need a few more kitchen towels. I most diffidently would stay there again. Thank you for making our vacation a memorable one

Nautalis House is exceptional in every way, luxurious with every comfort and convenience with an amazing view of the ocean from most rooms. The pool and hot tub are superb extras, and the VRBO staff were incredibly responsive to our every need.

When we arrived at the property, we unloaded our groceries and went to the second floor. Only to find out the refrigerator did not work. Apparently everyone ( the owner, and manager) knew, but failed to tell us. As a result a fridge was bought in from the garage and set out on the first floor We spent our week going up and down stairs to get a beverage or cook. In addition, the was water all over the floor in the bar area. We were bought towels to mop it up. The property was so dirty we had to have a cleaning person come out that night. Dead cockroaches and live bugs in the house. We got to enjoy our first night with a cleaning person and mopping up water, finally getting dinner after 8pm. We have lived in the area for over 25 years, there are plenty options besides this one. I would not stay here.

This house had a wow factor immediately. I don’t think pictures do this house justice. They definitely don’t draw attention to the 12’ +? ceilings. The house was extremely clean and we appreciated the attention to smaller details since we were traveling with kids, such as thr house having a high chair and some baby gates in a storage closet, which came in very handy! There are ALOT of stairs, so if there are small children still learning to navigate stairs those baby gates are very necessary. The elevator was great to have with all the stairs, especially getting groceries and bags up to the 2nd and 3rd floors. The balcony views were wonderful to wake up to on the 3rd floor and to watch the sunrise from the kitchen eating breakfast on the 2nd floor. Beach access was great and the pool and hot tub were a great way to end the night. We cooked 2 meals and had everything we needed available in the kitchen. The only thing that could be improved is the beds as all 6 of the adults in our group didn’t find them very comfortable. Even so, it wouldn’t deter me from staying again. Location location location, in a very quaint gated community! This was a wonderful place for our family trip that included 3 families with 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 6 months - 13 years old.

This is our third year visiting Cinnamon Beach and first year at this house. It was overall a great fit for our big family but is in need of some updating. House was cleaned well but lots of rusting around property/outdoor furniture (typical for the beach I know but could use a little freshening up), spider webs on ceiling, maintenance issues that need to be addressed before bigger issues happen (downstairs AC stopped working twice while we were there). Vtrips was great about being responsive to our issues which we were thankful for especially when the AC stopped working 2 different nights. Kitchen was very well stocked with every small appliance and utensil you could need. We will definitely consider this house for our next trip to Cinnamon Beach

WOW! This property is all that and a bag of Skittles!
For reference, our party:
Family vacation. 8 adults, 2 children (5 & 13)
3 of the adults had mobility issues; 1 requiring an electric scooter, and 2 with bad knees
Regarding navigating for the 3 mentioned above - the house has a lot of stairs, steep stairs, so it was an absolute godsend that this property has a working elevator. It’s a full 60 seconds from the bottom to the top, but the elevator was easy to use and WONDERFUL for groceries, as the main kitchen is on 2. The house was nice and open, with plenty of room to spare, so my brother-in-law was able to move around with his scooter quite easily.
5 of the bedrooms are king beds, EACH with it’s own full bath/ensuite
1 bedroom had a full/bunk bed combo, also had a full bath ensuite
The house was gorgeous, most rooms quite spacious, and the kitchen was amazing to cook in. We all remarked that we’d never been in a rental with so many pots/pans/utensils/cups/mugs/silverware/dishes! The only downfall is that they were lacking both kitchen towels and oven mits. After day 3, we went and bought oven mits and left them behind for future guests. We used any unused bath towels for drying dishes. It was odd, but we made it work, and let the property managers know.
The pool/hot tub were both lovely and the spa easy to operate - it just took a while to warm, which is rather typical. The garage on the right (facing the house) had lots of pool noodles, etc. We left some boogie boards behind. :) There are also some folding beach chairs to use, which we took full advantage of. The community pool to the left of the house looked quite nice (although we didn’t use it), and offered nice canopies for rent with gravity chairs on the beach. Again, we didn’t utilize - it was too windy for them to set up the days we wanted them.
The access to the beach can be hot during the day - bring your flips!
The beach itself was rather unique. Lots of chunky shells (although not terrible on the feet), and the water was rather riddled with odd rocks. However, we found a spot that was rock-free and we spent most of our days there. To find: at the bottom of the stairs, go right. Where there is a gap in the houses, it’s slightly past that. It’s about a 2 minute walk or so. No rocks, nice beach! You’re welcome!
Would ABSOLUTELY rent this property again!

The Nautilus is a premier home with luxurious amenities located right on the beach with a wonderful terrace overlooking the ocean. All the rooms are large with spacious bathrooms and the elevator worked perfectly every time. Perfection

Great stay with one exception
We had a great week. The house was wonderful with so many great amenities. The only issue we had was the dishwasher. It fail to work on our first day, we called and multiple people came out to look at it but were unable to fix it. We hand washed everything for the week. Not a big deal, but fairly time consuming with 11 people cooking multiple meals a day.

Great getaway!
For the second year in a row, we held our company leadership retreat at this house. We had 6 adults so it worked perfectly since we each have our own bedroom and bathroom and the main living area was perfect for us to meet and plan. If we are nit picking, I would say it would be nice if there were more toiletries available that is typically available at hotels such as shampoo, soap etc, a few more basic spices in the kitchen, and the chairs in the kitchen are worn out.
Otherwise highly recommend the place and would not hesitate to book our meeting here again next year!

60th birthday at palm coast
Great location, needed some cleaning in the pool and back porch due to north easter that came thru week prior but contacted Vtrips and it was all taken care of the next morning. Had to figure out TV, had never used ROKU before but we figured it out and everything was OK. Had a theater room again that was nice but had to figure out how to operate. Probably could use a little detailed instructions for each. Had an elevator that worked out perfect for my sister in -law who has foot issues. Beds and bathrooms were very nice, plenty of space. Grille and tables need up-dates, starter did not work on grill but purchased butane lighter and worked it out. Tables are rusting /paint was peeling on bottom and second floor patio, recommend all wicker furniture so close to the ocean. Dining room chairs seat cushions were all peeling but they worked out. Recommend some basic seasoning for cooking. Overall everyone enjoyed their stay, again, great location and played alot of pool! Pool was heated and hot tub was nice, again, figured out how to turn up the temperature to enjoy the hot tub, like the remote control.. Would stay there again!

Disappointed
We complained several times that the main refrigerator wasn’t working properly. We threw out a lot of food because the fridge wouldn’t go below 54 F. We had to keep running up and down the stairs for food from the lower fridge. They came twice to look at it but never fixed it. Overall the house was nice except the beds and couch weren’t very comfortable. The propane tank on the grill was empty so we hade to run around looking for gas. We had two plumbing issues that they did come and fix. The dining room chairs weren’t very nice and should be reupholstered. The pool and hot tub were nice and the beach was wonderful and close. Overall this is a Nice house but the refrigerator issue kind of ruined it for us.

Extended Family Vaca
Four generations of family enjoyed this property. Kids loved the pool, adults the hot tub, and the older folks appreciated the elevator. All as advertised. Home and views are beautiful, the neighborhood is quiet and secure.
Rocky beach makes ocean swimming a little difficult - we made the short drive to the Marineland beach for beach days. It is a wide beautiful sandy beach we would highly recommend.
Property manager responsive - we truly enjoyed our week at this house.

Family Reunion
It was great to finally get the family back together in such a beautiful location. The house was everything we needed with 5 master bedrooms, elevator, pool, hot tub and of course, right on the beach. Several family members also enjoyed the pools at the resort next door. The two kitchens were perfectly stocked for cooking for the crowd. The biggest complaint of the week were the mattresses on the beds. No one slept well the entire week because the mattresses seemed to be old, hard and very uncomfortable. Which made for some grumpy people in the morning. But all was forgiven when they looked out at the ocean and headed to the beach.

Gorgeous house!
Our family has rented a beach house for years and this house was by far our favorite! This house is absolutely beautiful and is perfect for multi-family vacations. There were 10 of us and we never felt like we were in each others way. Even with the high ceilings, keeping the house cool was not an issue. The elevator was handy for luggage and groceries. LOVED having two refrigerators! The pool table and a ping-pong table were a plus. The pool was great but we were never able to find the hot tub controls so we didn't get to use that (but that was OK with us - not really hot tub people). My only critiques would be that the kitchen could use a few newer items (pans/utensils) because those items are well worn and cleaning prior to our arrival - found cereal in and under the couch on second floor and cans/bottles near the pool. We are quite disappointed that this house is already booked for our week next year :( I would not hesitate to stay again.

The house was magnificent, plenty of rooms and bathrooms for us 9 ladies who stayed there. The amenities were absolutely beautiful. Everyone enjoyed their time staying in this beautiful home and community. The only complaint we had was, we wished there had been more than one set of towels per person for the 5 days we were there.Even so, we would definitely like to rent this place again next year.

Great family vacation spot.
Loved: Right on the beach. Views from balcony were stunning. Pool was awesome: hot tub heats fast. Lots of space. Clean. Grill across was delicious and easy. Neighborhood pools are right next door and across the street. Kiddie section was so much fun. Management company very responsive. They answered instantly and resolved concerns quickly. Bathrooms attached to every bathroom, several w jacuzzi tubs. And hall bathrooms as well. Easy drive from JAX airport. Easy to social distance. Did curbside pick up. Duel trash pickup. Provided pool toys and beach chairs. Pool table was fun. Allowed early check in without any complaints. Plenty of seating, both inside and out, for a large family.
Negatives: The grill does not have a grease pan, was badly burned when turning off the gas. There are not enough towels provided. Elevator wasn’t always easy to use. Garbage disposal doesn’t work. Bench on 3rd floor balcony was not put together properly. Towel rack in the bathroom snapped off when a towel was placed on it. Pool skimmer pole wasn’t provided at first, so first couple days pool was dirty until the pool cleaner came and provided one.

Not a pleasant experience at all!
No corkscrew to open wine, tea kettle was broken and dangerous, the elevator was too old and complex, it is a beach house with no beach towels, the master bath leaked through the light in the dining room and all over the floor, we had to call for permission the heat the whirlpool which was so cold, $400.00 dollars was stolen that we left on the bed by accident and no one else was in the house after we left so the cleaning crew or mgt must have taken it even after we reported it .
It was not an easy house, not very accommodating to renters.

Feedback is the Breakfast of Champions!
Absolutely gorgeous home for the 9 of us….beautifully decorated, in a great location. Most of the problems or issues we encountered were small, but should be pointed out in order to reconcile going forward.
• Initial communication with V-Trips was not good. They wanted to charge us more for the down payment and wanted more money in earlier stages than was outlined on the VRBO website.
• Gate passes – only one gate pass was e-mailed in advance to one of three drivers. This was resolved but made it hectic for three hours prior to arrival.
• Extreme lack of towels! This just didn’t seem to fit the standard to which the rest of the house reflected. We found ourselves laundering the one set provided almost on a daily basis.
• The above proved helpful in the downstairs bath…as there was not even a towel rack!
• The slider in the downstairs bedroom could not be locked!
• The toilet paper holder in the upstairs bath with the bunk beds was broken and left on the sink. Not a big deal since we did not use that room…but still should have been repaired prior to arrival since the home was vacant for two days.
• The propane gas tank for the grille was empty! There was not a spare. This was resolved within two hours though.
• Suggestion: instructions for the TV’s would certainly be helpful, as not all the TV’s were exactly the same. Also, seems like for the caliber of the home, High Definition would have been nice, especially for the TV off of the kitchen.
Sometimes, it is the small issues that can ruin a score of 5 out of 5. If most of the above were dealt with or minimized, our experience would have been a “slam dunk” 5.
