This home offers a great floor plan that is excellent for enjoying friends and family. The open living-dining area offers comfortable seating and easy access to the large screened porch.
The screened porch provides the perfect place to relax after a fun day on the lake with ample seating and dining area.
You can feel yourself relax as you look across the landscape and the sparkling waters of the lake.
The three bedrooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. The master bedroom has a queen bed and private bath.
Upstairs, the second bedroom offers a queen bed along with another private bath and the third bedroom has twin beds and a bath.
A convertible sofa offers additional sleeping accommodations in the private den.

My wife and I attended my niece's graduation. We thought it would be a great idea to rent this cottage for the serenity of the lake and golf course. Let me tell ya, it didn't disappoint. Beautiful cottage. Convenient location for shopping and restaurants, boats and jet ski rentals.

The house is well equipped. The kitchen prepped 2 dinners for 18 staying in 3 separate houses rented in the neighborhood. The sleeping was great. The porches were occupied all day and night. Would rent this property again!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home which has a lovely view of the lake, is a quick walk to the Club House, and also just a 7 minute walk to the marina. It is very comfortable and very well appointed. We loved everything about it, and can't wait to go back. Thank You!

We had a great stay at Great Waters. It is a wonderful neighborhood. The grandkids love the sandy beach area. The house was great but definitely needs to be updated.

No help from “concierge”
This property has no direct access to the lake. We called and asked the concierge where a beach was and she didn’t seem to know the area and couldn’t be bothered to search for and call us back with any information. This was also the case with the rental agent - no response to email inquiring about amenities.

Needs deep cleaning
Vents and blinds very dirty. Upstairs shower door slide wheel worn out, only one side opens. Had some bug problems but they promptly sprayed. We also were not aware that the golf course was closed for update.

Perfect floor plan. Needs some attention
Aesthetically nice, although looking more closely some fabrics are wearing or need cleaning. The main level guest room had a blanket that was in shreds where it ticks in. In the twin bed bedroom the tablecloth was upside down, dust ruffles unseen at the top. The mattresses should have been retired a long, long time avo and the pillows were limp. All the rooms were pretty. Toilet paper rolls weren’t full and there were no spare rolls-SURPRISE!
The kitchen was adequate although a few basic spices would’ve been nice. I think they were low on teaspoons.
Dryer took forever and ever and ever to dry.
We used the bbq and it was good. Location was fantastic!!!!!! House is pretty and layout was perfect for our family. Don’t mean to be super picky but since feedback was requested.....

We were not in need of many amenities. Just wanted a convenient location to meet and visit which this house provides along with 3 bedrooms with their own bath. The property manager was very prompt in answering my question about a lunch recommendation prior to our checkin.

This was a fantastic place to enjoy memorial day weekend. The house was clean, spacious and in a great location. Right next to the pool and clubhouse and close to boat docks. The upstairs A/C was not working. Using the At Home Vacations website, I was notified that we would receive a $50 charge for putting in a service request, so we just turned on fans and endured it. Maintenance charges for broken A/C should not be passed on to the tenant. There is also a jagged piece of PVC pipe broken off in the front yard - we discovered this while walking around barefoot. No one was hurt, but it could cause injury for someone playing in the yard.

We had a group of 4 that stayed at the Westover Cottage Masters week and it was perfect for our needs. Very close to a ton of great golf courses, sitting on the Great Waters course, it is a perfect location for any golf trip. The accommodations were comfortable and the screen porch was a nice touch. The TV situation could have been better as we wanted to gather and watch sports at night, but it sufficed. Check in/out was super easy using the app. I would definitely recommend the Westover Cottage to any of my friends.

The cottage was nice and in a great location. Wee booked it for a little over two weeks and it wasn't set up for long term renters. The kitchen wasn't equipped properly to cook your own meals and there wasn't an outside garbage can to dispose of garbage until we asked for one. The TV in the living room was too small for the room and a little hard to see. The management company did its best to rectify our concerns but on the last day they called me on the golf course to ask me why our stuff was still in the house and why we weren't checked out. I explained that we had the house one more day but the girl didn't seem to believe me. I had to send her an email to prove it and it did disrupt our game. Their reservationists made a mistake. All in all it was a nice trip but they would have to make improvements for us to stay there again.

The location was great. Right next to the pool at Great Waters Clubhouse. Close to the boat docks where we kept our boat overnight. Great view from the screened porches. Walked to the golf course and had a great round of golf. Plenty of places to walk or ride bikes. Only downside was mower noise from the golf course early in the morning

House is in desperate need of some TLC. Most concerning is the water stain in upstairs bath with mold developing. Two TVs we're not in working order, the one DVD player did not work. Furniture and fixtures damaged/worn. Management staff was very helpful and pleasant to work with. Loved layout and location of house. With a little bit of attention, this could be a great rental.

Nice layout, needs TLC
I will start off with the positives: great location. You are right next to the clubhouse which has a playground for the kids and an easy walk to the docks and a beautiful lake view. The layout of house is nice with large decks off both the master downstairs, and bedrooms upstairs also can enjoy the upstairs deck. The negatives all come down to the same thing: this house needs some serious TLC. Most concerning is the huge water stain with mold in the upstairs bathroom. The house is outdated: there are no flat screen tvs, the tvs in the two common areas did not work, the one dvd player did not work, the back of the couch in living room is fraying. I would also suggest buying a full size trash can for kitchen. Given cost of this cottage, I would have expected something that was more cared for. Luckily, we were still able to enjoy our stay at Oconee. Future renters, please ensure the mold in the bathroom has been resolved. Several of us had allergy flare-ups, not sure if it was related to mold or b/c animals had previously stayed in the cottage.
