About this house rental
The Cozy Cottage is perfectly located just 5 miles away from historic downtown Franklin, TN and minutes from beautiful Leiper’s Fork and only 2.5 miles from Southall Farm, where you can make reservations for their restaurant or spa treatments. Nestled on an 6 acre mini farm, the cottage offers a country experience while just a short jaunt from town. Be sure to say hello to the mini donkeys and goats on the property (five baby goats were just born in October - what a sight to see!) It is only a 30 minute drive into downtown Nashville and offers a perfect retreat for musicians looking for some peace, just outside of Music City USA. You can enjoy a camp fire in the backyard fire pit or take a nap on the covered front porch on the suspended bed swing while listening to the birds in the surrounding stately maple trees. When you are feeling brave, you can explore the historic cemetery on the property, featuring a revolutionary war veteran who was likely granted this land as a payment for his service. Or, imagine the history of the valley which is a stone’s throw away from the Civil War battle site for the city of Franklin.

My family and I stayed in the Cozy Cottage for my wife's birthday. I will say without a doubt that this home was fantastic! It was clean and well maintained. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. Furniture and beds were indeed cozy, and the donkeys and goats were a hit with our kiddos! It was close to Franklin and Nashville, but not so close that you feel like you're in the middle of everything. We will definitely be back again!

The property is absolutely as described. We met both the goats and the donkeys. The property was quiet and lovely. It’s a bit of a drive to Nashville but the city of Franklin is also quite lovely and worth your time: tha k you so much for. All the details like the amazing smelling soaps and shampoos. We had a great time.

Quiet, restful location. Close to Franklin, Leiper's Fork and Nashville. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and enough furniture and room for us to stretch out.

We loved this property so much. It was such a beautiful house. We were able to get to Nashville in about 30mins. I would definitely stay here again.

We were very impressed with the home. It met our needs as a party of 9 comfortably. We met the owners of the property and felt that they were very kind and accommodating. The goats and mini donkeys were a huge hit with our little ones, and the small cemetery near the cottage was very interesting to our history enthusiasts, as it was the resting place of a Revolutionary War hero. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already talking about when we can stay there again.

The donkeys greeted us every time we went outside! We gave them lots of pets :) highly recommend this home for any trip! Great location just outside of the town of Franklin which is a must visit even if you’re just coming for Nashville!

Spent 4 days at this house and loved it. My wife & I arrived Wednesday night and spent 2 days in and around Franklin before family arrived Friday evening for our Grandsons 21st birthday celebration. The house was so well decorated that my wife didn't want to leave the house during our stay! Very cozy! Will return for a longer stay!

My friends and I stayed at The Cozy Cottage and LOVED it! It was our first time to the Nashville area, and it really was the best of both worlds: close to the action but nestled in a lovely country setting.
The cottage was immaculate and lovely…we used the fire pit twice and enjoyed seeing (and hearing!) the donkeys and goats.
Really, they thought of everything when preparing the cottage for guests, and it was worth every penny!

Perfect Nashville Getaway
I booked the cozy cottage for my girlfriends and I to stay for my bachelorette weekend in Nashville. This was the perfect place for all of us with plenty of room, beautiful scenery, and a place that felt like home. I didn’t realize it was a little drive from downtown Nashville, but the country drive to and from the house was absolutely breathtaking and was totally worth the extra miles just to stay there. We felt completely safe and the neighbors had the cutest mini donkeys and goats next door! Would definitely recommend everyone to stay here and will be back to stay here again for our next girls trip!

This house was perfect for our group of 5 adults. We had plenty of space. We loved meeting the donkeys next door. They came up right to the fence and let us pet them.
We had so much fun exploring Downtown Franklin and really enjoyed some of the restaurants the host recommended. I would definitely stay here again.

This property was absolutely beautiful. The cottage is so beautifully decorated and the attention to detail was amazing. The owners have thought of everything. We were coming to Franklin for a relatives wedding and thought instead of staying in hotels, where we would not have a common gathering area, that we would look into a vacation rental. Loved our stay! The home was nice and cozy! Nothing better than waking up each morning and enjoying the sound of the country on the front porch.
