This condo was beautiful and very clean. It had all of the items needed in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. The view from the balcony was beautiful! Loved watching the sunset and all the boats coming and going. The bunk room is located in the master closet which was a little awkward for us with teenagers having to walk through the master bedroom while we were trying to sleep, but would be perfect for little kids who go to bed earlier than their parents. Overall a great stay!!

We think this is the fifth time we have stayed at the lovely condo. It is very spacious, very clean, perfect balcony overlooking the bay, beautiful sunsets and huge master bath. The mattress in the master is very comfortable. The bunk has double mattress on bottom and twin on top. It’s a short walk to Florabamma! Big Earl is a must go see/hear. Also good music! We have this condo reserved for next week for sleepover vacation with the grands. After many years of vacationing at the beach, we have found our perfect stay.

We came for a quick getaway to the beach and truly enjoyed ourselves. The condo was just like the pictures. We did have issues with the TV not signing in, but gave that up for the board games. Overall it was relaxing and fun!

Please replace the living room remote, it is so worn out it takes forever to input. We used our c”laptop instead, glad we brought it with us.
We notice we are right under the ball court, not too noisy, this could have been mentioned.
Busy street, but 11 floors up, no big deal.. the location is a lovely beach community where rest is possible.

Very nice property. All amenities were as stated. Laundry was very helpful and kitchen was very nice. Very comfortable bed and great view of the inner bay. They took very good care of us here and were very attentive and answered immediately when we were locked out of our room due to our error. Only drawback was our specific room was directly under the indoor tennis court so we were unable to sleep in when we wanted. Other than that it was great. Would highly recommend.

Good Stay, nice room
Nice room. Beautifully furnished and had a great master bathroom. Televisions were nice as well. Bed was extra firm which I liked, my wife found it uncomfortable with slight hump in the middle. The deadbolt at entrance doesn't line up so it doesn't lock. The check in was a bit confusing and original door code didn't work.

43rd Anniversary perfect Week!
What a great condo! Parked on the second floor and had a short walk to the elevator and then from elevator to unit, just around the corner, so another very short walk. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and pool area. Everything was great! Flori Bama was close enough to walk to and it was great! We also enjoyed Tacky Jack's which was a short drive away. So many great places to eat and drink. The view from the balcony was great! We watched boats coming and going all day long. Although it rained, we were able to sit on the balcony and stay dry. We cannot say enough about this wonderful celebration week!

A great stay in orange beach
Over all this condo was great. The pictures really didn’t do this unit justice. It was so nice, clean and well kept.
Pros:
- We have stayed in units with ocean views before and can honestly say this gulf view is so nice we didn’t miss the ocean view.
- The unit’s furniture was very nice, functional and decor was kids friendly.
- The location was great, beach was steps from the elevator, chair rental was easy and the pool was very nice.
- The staff at the condo were all nice, the building itself was very clean and well maintained.
- This was a very quiet and family friendly building.
- A lot of people in reviews mentioned the noise from the Tennis courts above. However during our stay we didn’t hear anything, it was very peaceful.
- The bed in the master was so comfortable.
- The kids loved the bunk beds.
- The condo is VERY LARGE and spacious.
Cons
- No real “cons” but some suggestions.
- It would be nice to have some very light pantry staples like other VRBO rentals we have stayed at i.e cooking oil, very light seasonings, foil etc. It was very barebones which isn’t a big deal but it would be a nice amenity so you wouldn’t have to buy so much “big items” at the store.
- Some Tupperware for guest to use would be nice as well. We wanted to take lunch to the beach one day but had no “beach friendly” containers making that very difficult to accomplish.
Overall a great stay. Also the management team that oversees this unit was very helpful, extremely responsive and one of the best we have worked with when reserving VRBO rentals.

Great for my short stay!
Though I only stayed 2 nights, it was the perfect property for a short vacation. Just like the description says, this unit is BIG. Way too big for just one person. I so wished I could have stayed longer to use the awesome kitchen. Despite this unit not being *brand new*, it was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. Check-in was easy, and the property managers were available by text throughout the stay. If I stayed at the Phoenix IX again (I definitely would), I would probably get a unit that faces the beach. However, the view of Ono Island from this unit was remarkably beautiful.

Beautiful room and a great view of the Bay. WiFi is a little slow and for some reason the A/C kept resetting its self. So you would have to put it on your desired temperature ever few hours. Other then those two things it was an amazing stay!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay! We drove from Kansas City to Orange Beach for our first post-COVID trip. It was also our first time in Orange Beach, so we were not sure what to expect. 1. Check in - we checked in without difficulty and had great communication from the property manager. I had hoped that the condo would be empty the night before our arrival (re: COVID) but it was occupied and hence we were unable to check in until just after 4pm. 2. Condo - it was SO clean! I was impressed, and felt safe from COVID standpoint. The room for kids was perfect for our kids, but would not be good for un-related adults (as it is the closet of the master bedroom and leaves little privacy). I think a nightlight in the closet would have been helpful. We also did not see additional bedding, but we were able to make do without it. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat in the condo, and we enjoyed staying in the condo for many meals. The noise from the road below was louder than expected, but we were able to sleep through it and were not disappointed that we chose to stay on the Bay side instead of the Gulf. There was some construction going on around the building during our stay following Hurricane Sally, but it did not disrupt our stay.3. Phoenix IX - it was PERFECT for us. The beach was amazing and very close, but we did have a few cool/windy days so we were very thankful for additional amenities. The indoor pool was very warm - we were sad that we could not use the hot tubs, but understand the reasoning. We used the tennis court and had fun there as well - you had to sign up for a tennis time slot, which required us to schedule it. The tennis is directly above the condo and you can certainly hear it when there is a match taking place. One night there were people playing until nearly 11pm (tennis closes at 10pm) - I alerted the property manager and it did not happen again during our stay.4. The Area - location was perfect for us. Not much around other than Florbama. It felt private.5. COVID - mask mandate was still in place. Phoenix had up signs, but clearly not enforced. It was easy to avoid people, so we felt safe.6. Great stay
Great condo, very clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated (even had a piano). We were there during spring break and, though traffic was heavy, the amenities at Phoenix IX were never crowded and were well maintained. Mask were required in all common areas and nearly everyone was complying. The unit does not face the gulf, but has a nice view of Ono Island and Old River. The worst drawback was when sitting on the balcony, especially on the weekend, when the traffic noise was bad at times. Some sort of truck show was occurring at The Wharf that weekend, so every other vehicle wanted to share their "music" with the world. Never a problem when the sliding balcony doors were closed. Would stay there again!
