We loved this VRBO! The fenced in yard, back patio, & activities in the garage were perfect for our young kids. We didn't realize one of the rooms was in a separate bunk house, but it worked for our group! We loved relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day. I'd definitely come back!

We had an awesome time, place was very clean. The host Brenda is really nice and reply to messages right away. Some of the cleaning instruction were weird, we are from Canada and never have to do anything when we stay in local property. But it wasn't a deal breaker. Highly reccommend to book this place!!!

Bait and switch. We were so excited to stay in this beautiful country home in the first 3 pictures of the advertisment during our families glacier national trip. But surprise we're actually staying at the dated and ugly brown box next door! We had long travel day and arrived late. Google maps took us down a scary driveway that looked like a scene from a scary movie. It was hard to see the address from the road at night. Once we did find it we realized we'd been duped and another family was staying in the house we thought we'd paid for. We didn't complain because it was late and we wanted to focus on the positives. Our interactions so far with The owner we're bad The owner left a passive aggressive voicemail about check in being 4pm and demanding to know when we'd be there. We called back and grew concerned with the owners statement about leaving the other property alone? They had unlocked the door and left the key there. This check in process made us feel unsafe and rushed. Why did you need our arrival time we're on vacation! Every other VRBo we've stayed at has had a code door or lock box. The house rules: 3 bullet points about washing your self and your feet or you'll be charged extra for using the hot tub, rude. Speaking of rude. The rules stated: "Please wash and dry all towels, no need to fold." my family is on vacation we will not be doing your house keeping!!! Inside the layout was weird. You had to Walk through 1 bedroom to get to the next. The toilets had pantry doors on them that did not give privacy. The house came with a cabin for the 4th bedroom but we could only get the closet light to turn on. None of the other lights worked so some of our party ended up sleeping on the uncomfortable couch in the living room. The listing states it has AC. It doesn't really. The upstairs has 1 unit that doesn't cool the downstairs at all. Speaking of upstairs it smelled musty and we were concerned about mold. The upstairs shower head was broken spraying water everywhere. Infact the owner texted us basically accusing us of breaking it! This place was so run down we we're shocked. The couch had a wooden board it. All the bedding and towels just felt old, thankfully they were clean. The kitchen had 1 frying pan which made cooking breakfast for 6 take forever!!! We picked it cuz it looked nice, had 4 bedrooms and a hot tub. The 3 person hotub was the only thing that turned out to be real and not old or in disrepair.

Thumbs up
If you absolutely gotta put a bunch of people in a house, get a house with a hot-tub. And an efficient kitchen. And the big rec-room is a nice touch. In fact, just stay here. This place is good.

This comfortable house has many great amenities. The location is perfect - close to Glacier NP and the adorable town of Whitefish. Highly recommend for two families. The fourth bedroom should not be included in my opinion. We had a wonderful time.

Visit to Glacier National Park
Perfect place for our family to stay while we visited Glacier National Park! We loved the hot tub, fire pit and outdoor play area. The house was clean and spacious. Brenda came and checked us in and was willing to give us good restaurant recommendations. The fenced in back yard was wonderful for our dog. Our young grandchildren loved the toys in the garage! It was a great place for our family to gather!

Beautiful quiet retreat
We stayed in a group of 7 (3 children). The property owners were very friendly and responsive. Location was good, a bit of a drive to Glacier but also close to Whitefish which was nice. TONS of space which we loved. The kids said this was there "favorite VRBO ever"!

One of our Best stays!!!
Beautiful home and very well decorated in outdoors mountain fashion. Large living area quite adequate for our 6 with many beds. Outdoor patio, hot tub and BBQ areas were perfect. Flower garden that adjoins the patio is host to 10-12 Humming Birds that after a week were not so camera shy. Game Room area in the garage was perfect for the younger adults with ping pong and card tables. Hosts were very nice and enjoyed visiting with them. We felt fortunate that they took our reservation.

This is the secondary property for the main house. We rented the secondary property but it is just great. It met all of our needs while we were exploring Glacier and Whitefish. Beautiful back area with a volleyball court and horseshoes. Great barbecue and hot tub. Great place just to relax.

Excellent Rental
We stayed with our friends at this rental for a few nights .It was neat and clean and the property is set in the woods with a nice jacuzzi and pond in the backyard. We watched deer grazing through the windows. The kids loved walking around on the property.
The host was very friendly and accommodating ! The kitchen was well equipped.
One thing I want to point out is that this a 3 bedroom and not a 4 bedroom. Upstairs is a big room which has 3 beds. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a bunk bed.

Great house(s), great location, great owner
This place is awesome! There is the possibility of adding a second house and a cabin located in the same footprint which we took full advantage of for our 25 person family reunion that included folks from 3 years to 68 years old. The beautifully appointed main house with plenty of space and everything we could think of needing was only exceeded by the beauty of the wooded setting and 2 onsite ponds. There was fuzzball, pin pong, volleyball court, stair stepper, board games and every cooking utensil, spice, or food prep item we could ever ask for. All needed services located closely nearby and owner just the right mix of helpful but not at all bothersome, in fact we all enjoyed their infrequent visits. Despite being so close to the absolutely gorgeous Glacier National Park, we also spent a lot of time enjoying local restaurants, zip lines, horseback riding, boating, local distillery and the Huckleberry pies and shakes. Damn they are good. The biking, hiking and views of mountains and lakes, and rivers, and waterfalls inside the park was awe inspiring and should not be missed. Montana is beautiful and we are already planning a return trip.

Fantastic property in a great location
Nestled just north of Columbia Falls and a 10 minute drive east of Whitefish, this property has a fantastic location. 10 of us stayed here for New Years (late 20's/early 30's). With lots of beds, it fit our mix of couples and singles, and had plenty of flexibility for sleeping arrangements. That said, there is not much privacy/sound control as it is very open concept through the main home. Put your early-to-bed people in the cabin and they will thank you for it later.
After you're done skiing at Big Mountain (skiwhitefish dot com) just 20 minutes away, there's no need to leave this property. There's a ping pong table and a hot tub and lots of games in the cupboards. We were well entertained, had our privacy, and had a blast hanging out in the (warm) garage, finding out who the best ping pong player was of the group. Sadly, it wasn't me.
The only word of caution would be to budget a little extra for cleaning, as the owner is meticulous and the cleaning fee doesn't account for the high standards. You will receive the property spotless: you will also pay to ensure it remains that way. In particular, we were dinged for a filter replacement to the hot tub - something I have never been charged with before through all of my stays (even with large parties). Factor it into the budget, but don't let it dissuade you from staying here.

Great house with a graceous hostess
We'd a big family reunion and stayed at this property in July 2016. The house was perfect for our group that had kids to grand parents. The garage is well furnished not only with cots but also recreational activities (Ping pong table, board games) - the teenagers in our group had a blast.
The kitchen was well stocked and had all kind of pots/pans for us to prepare large meals. The large bath tub outside was great to relax after an active day in the Glacier NP.
The best part was the our hostess who was very responsive. When our guest count increased more than expected, she graceusly provided an extra cottage and portable toilet.
Overall, it was the best stay for our vacation and I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

Awesome place to stay
Place exceeded expectations, photos do not do it justice. Close location to whitefish and many activities. Renters were very helpful and always willing to help. I would highly suggest this cabin if you are in whitefish or surrounding area!

Such a Wonderful home!
My family and I (wife and three children) drove over 1800 miles from the Midwest to visit Glacier National Park. I stumbled upon Brenda's home online, and we are SO GLAD we stayed at her home! With only 5 of us, there was plenty of extra room in this house, which was great. All amenities are provided (towels, linens, etc.) and truly, it just felt like home. The home is a short 20-25 minute drive from West Glacier, which we drove every day we were there. After hiking all morning and afternoon, we soaked in the hot tub for quite a while. Brenda and her husband could not have been nicer or more helpful. We would easily stay here again!

Just like home!
Families from two continents met in Columbia Falls at this home to explore Glacier National Park. This home is comfortable, equipped just like our own homes, and spacious enough for 11 people. We were amazed at how well stocked the kitchen is with basics like flour, sugar, spices, etc. There were plenty of pans, cooking utensils, and dishes. The huge washer/dryer was instrumental in replenishing our wardrobes. The home was extremely clean.
Brenda and her husband are friendly and accommodating. Their property is ideally located for many adventures in the area. Be sure to catch a rodeo at the Blue Moon and roast marshmallows in the fire pit! All 11 of us would be thrilled to stay there again.

Terrific Place to Stay!
Four of us stayed here from July 1-July 5. Brenda was an excellent host! She met us at the front door, gave us a tour of the house, and briefed us on establishments in the local area which we might need. The house is excellently appointed with plenty of games, books, and things to keep your mind occupied when not vegging out. We used the hot tub after it cooled down in the evening and it was a treat. We were there for a family reunion and hosted an afternoon cookout for 2 dozen people. Everyone enjoyed themselves and remarked on what a wonderful place it was. We had a medical emergency which required hospitalization for one of us and there was a chance we might have to stay an extra day or two. Brenda offered to find us a place to rent if we had to extend our time (there were others renting right behind us so we couldn't stay there) and eased our peace of mind immensely. Everything turned out OK and we were able to travel on time. The only criticism I can offer is that the air conditioning units (portable) were insufficient to comfortably cool the house down in the mid-to-upper 90s weather we experienced all week. The master bedroom on the 2nd floor was uninhabitable from mid-morning to sunset even though we had two units working all the time. Brenda stated she is planning on installing better air conditioning in the coming months, and to be fair, the temperatures were out of the ordinary even for the summer months. Other than that, we would not hesitate to revisit this most enjoyable venue and stay at Brenda's house.

Family gathering
Ten adults (4 couples, 2 singles) stayed in the house for 4 nights, and explored Glacier Park and the surrounding area during the days. It was convenient to the Park (about 20-30 minutes), stores (5 minutes), airport (15 minutes) and still felt isolated (very important to us). We visited and played cards on the deck, relaxed in the Jacuzzi, cooked meals in the great kitchen and grill, and several of us made a point of enjoying the master bath shower. For us, it was the perfect base; we were out all day, everyday. We had a nights sleep; we visited at breakfast times and we knew we were coming back to a really nice house. I have picky siblings, and everyone still liked the house.

Guys trip to Glacier
Wonderful stay. Brenda and Dave are super nice folks and have done a great job with this place. Extremely roomy and comfortable and very clean. Very nice peaceful atmosphere but yet very convenient to town as well as surrounding attractions (i.e. Whitefish, Glacier, Kalispell, etc.). We flew into Kalispell, picked up our rental car and were at the house in under 15 minutes! I would definitely stay here again and have no problem recommending to any of my friends or family. I love Montana and especially this area of Montana. Fantastic! Thanks Brenda and Dave for your hospitality and hope to make it up there again.

Great, but...
We had a great time in this cabin - but the pictures and description are misleading - while there were plenty of beds for all (1 queen, 1 king, 1 bunkbed twin over queen), there was only one actual self-enclosed bedroom. The bunk-bedroom connected directly to the garage, and the upstairs loft area had no door either. Extremely spacious upstairs but no real privacy. The garage on the other hand was FANTASTIC - stocked with a Ping-Pong table, bicycle, all manner of kids' games and board games. Plenty of reading material for grownups - and WiFi, but no cable.
Note: there is no A/C which was only a problem on the one day it got about 90 degrees, house was very hot and humid that day - otherwise open windows at night cooled the place down quickly.
We LOVED the hot tub, kiddos spent every morning in there while I made breakfast on the restaurant-style waffle maker - just make sure somebody knows how to add chemicals/chlorine etc... or that you specifically contact Brenda about doing this.
Property was in a great location - private but not ridiculously far from anything - Whitefish was just a few miles on back roads, and just a couple miles to the Super1 Grocery.
This house is stocked with sugar/spice/etc... - for real, there were spices and such stocked in the cupboards - nice if you don't want to buy everything.

Christmas for 12
3 families, with 6 kids aged 10-19 spent a wonderful Christmas here. Only a 20 minute drive to the ski mountain. Spacious and had everything we required and more. Totally enjoyed every minute. If we travel to Whitefish area again, this property will be our forst choice.

Perfect house - Perfect location!
My family had a very comfortable stay at Tamarack Tranquility! The house was impecibly clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the scenery was so peaceful. The kids played horseshoes, ping pong, and lounged in the hot tub! The rental has just the right space we needed and is located perfectly central to all of the activities we did! Thanks so much Brenda for a wonderful experience!
