About this house rental

Relaxation is enhanced by the lapping waves at your doorstep! Three convenient steps lead from your front lawn giving you 'barefoot access' to a rare quiet local beach. A short walk takes you to the quaint little shops of Roberts Creek Village where you will find organic produce, locally-made crafts, a general store, and much more.

Outside you will enjoy the fantastic hot-tub with unbelievable view, wide wrap-around decks, deluxe after beach outdoor shower, relaxing Adirondack deck chairs, and professionally landscaped gardens. Outdoor eating is encouraged with your choice of chairs on the deck or the picnic table by the sea in the garden as alternatives to the dining room inside the cottage.

The cottage is appointed with 2 generously-sized bedrooms including one king-size and 2 twin beds all with goose down duvets and pillows. Snuggle in the evenings by the cozy gas fireplace and enjoy the ever-changing seascape spread out before you! You'll find an all-season barbeque on our covered deck. Enjoy endless outdoor games, (bocce ball, frisbee, etc), on the beautifully manicured back or front lawns or play on the beach with boogie boards, sand toys, etc, (all included). Beach umbrellas are also available for your use. Our kayak is included for your convenience!

The gourmet maple-wood kitchen is thoughtfully appointed to facilitate easy self catering, including a dishwasher and other conveniences as would be expected.

Entertainment may not be required when you have the ocean to watch and the beach to explore, but just in case you will find cable HDTV with Netflix, Prime, etc.

Very relaxing stay which included several rocky beach walks a day, swimming, sitting reading novels in the Adirondack chairs and nightly soak in the hot tub. We sleep well in the comfortable king size bed. We had one rainy day, but the picture windows let you enjoy the ocean view so thoroughly even from inside. We will be back! Thank you!

We loved our stay here! Well appointed ocean front home. Updated decor, immaculately clean. Fantastic layout allows you to enjoy hot sunny days in living areas but keeps the bedrooms cool for sleeping. The home is very well equipped, from everything in the kitchen to a proper propane barbecue on the deck. Sandy beach at low tide was great for swimming and paddle boarding. Hot tub was perfect for cooler evenings. Loved the outdoor shower with warm water! We appreciated the code entry so you don’t have to worry about keys or cards. Last but not least - the views from the deck are unbelievable!!!

What a beautiful stay we had in the most amazing location! The views are picture perfect and the pictures do not do it justice. Its a 10/10 view and the accommodations were perfect for our family - we were all sad to leave at the end of our week! Cant wait to come back and see that view again!

This is a fantastic gem of a property for a family or couple looking to enjoy endless views, serenity, hot tubbing, + great outdoor activities for the kids if you time your stay right with the tides. Kitchen was nicely stocked - everything was new and clean (not always our experience with VRBO’s). Owner/host Janet was wonderful - very responsive. She takes great care of the property and her guests! Robert’s Creek was new for us - loved the convenience of the general store and The Gumboot Cafe (amazing carrot cake). And only 15 mins away in either direction (Sechelt or Gibsons) from some great micro-breweries! Already booked our return visit - can’t wait!

We couldn’t have been happier with this home. Beautiful and quiet location right on the beach. Super relaxing! A short drive to some other beautiful beaches and trails to adventure on. It was really difficult to leave. We’ll definitely be back again!

Great stay! House is perfect. Everything you need. Kitchen is stocked extremely well. Views are spectacular. Hot tub is wonderful. Watched seals and birds and even saw whales. Great hiking nearby, Roberts Creek is adorable, good food in Sechelt and Gibsons. We loved it!

My family had a wonderful time here!! It was our first time on the Sunshine Coast. The view is breathtaking, We saw whales jumping from the lawn and tons of seals and fish. This was great for our 2 year old and dog as well! Janet was wonderful to speak too and always with a quick response. Don’t second guess to book this place is perfect! We would highly recommend!! We had a lovely stay on this gorgeous property. Perfectly situated on the beach. It doesn’t get much better than that. The living room, kitchen and dining room were uncomfortably hot though. You may want to bring a fan. The bedrooms have fans which is helpful. We mostly bbq’d to keep the temperature down. If you plan on working as we had too, just be aware that the wifi and data roaming is not very strong.

Beach Haven was the perfect getaway for our family of 4, and our dog. It has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay, and a few things you didn’t think were necessary until you saw them, like a waffle iron and a panini press! The views of the water are spectacular, rain or shine. It felt secluded, yet still close to shops and cafes. It was definitely hard to leave at the end of the week.

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit. Watching the water, seals, various bird, and an occasional jumping fish was the perfect place to unplug. We did some short hikes at Gilker and Secret Cove. Both are nice and scenic. We were there in the off-season so nothing was crowded and we lucked out and had great weather. The place was clean and had everything we needed. There is a nice gas grill to use but I don’t think it was listed on the amenities. We look forward to returning.

This was our second time staying here and it was as beautiful as the last time. The house is the perfect size but we spend most of the day outside. The owner is very helpful and responsive. Over all, a lovely stay! I hope to go back next year and the year after that!

The Sunshine Coast is a lovely area to explore, but we found ourselves often thinking, "there's no better view than Beach Haven. Let's just go back there." What a find! My partner and I spent a week in this lovely cottage this November—and we wish we could have stayed longer! We thoroughly enjoyed spending the week reading by the fire, and enjoying the fantastic views over the water through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area. The hot tub outside was a great bonus. During our time there, we saw our first bald eagle in the wild—just while looking out the windows! This was in addition to all of the sea life visible from the living room and kitchen. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed to prepare our meals. Everything in the unit was spotlessly clean. Lastly, Janet was so nice to communicate with. We are greatly looking forward to returning and spending two weeks in this unit next time!

I loved this property. As I drove down the driveway I heard the ocean waves rolling in on the rocks and from that moment on I was a happy camper! Janet was friendly, helpful and always quick to reply. The beach cottage had everything I needed. The little kayak was a special treat especially for my grandchildren. We just enjoyed an amazing week at the Beach Haven. The ocean is just steps from the yard and at low tide a sand beach appears in front of the property. A true west coast experience. While you could spend all day just enjoying the view there are options like swimming and hiking to keep you busy. The cottage was the perfect size for us (couple and small dog). It was clean, comfortable and well equipped for preparing meals. Janet was amazing to deal with and responded quickly to all our correspondence. We highly recommend this property and look forward to a return stay.

We just completed a stay at this sweet beachfront cottage. While we couldn't escape the pandemic, we were able to escape our cold, snowy province for one month. Although Sunshine Coast temperatures were on the cool side some days, we took advantage of the warm and sunny days and hiked many times through various rainforest trails. Cliff Gilker Park is literally only a 5 minute drive away. The cottage itself suited our needs perfectly. The view of the ocean is wonderful. Out back there is a large lawn area where you can run around with your dog or kids. Everything right down to paper products is supplied, something we certainly appreciated. The hot tub is an added perk. Communication with Janet was easy and she was always available if we had an inquiry. Our thanks to the Adelaars for sharing their amazing beachfront home with us!

A picture IS worth a thousand words and the pictures of this home and location do not lie! We stayed at Beach Haven for 2 weeks in October (just two of us and our dog!). It was the perfect remote getaway from the city where we could work, relax, and experience a much-needed change of scenery during these COVID times. Beach Haven is well-maintained, clean, quiet, and perfectly situated right on the water. I don't know who was more sad to leave...us or our dog, Odi. Relaxation was everywhere - watching the sunset while listening to the waves, enjoying the view from the hot tub to cozying up on the couch in front of the fireplace.
